When I hit mission control can I have the document names put under each document?

This is what my mission control currently looks like
I want to have the names of the each peice of work. Because it would just make it a bit clearer to work out what I have got open.

Go to System Preferences > Mission Control and turn on Group windows by application. Also, if you have a trackpad, you can make a gesture to show the application windows and the most recent used documents. To do it, open System Preferences > More Gestures and look Exposé; then, take the cursor to the program you want to check the files and make the gesture

LabView does not show any rror if I name two controls with exactly the same name. It can be confusing. I am using LabView 6.1.

Some people like the fact that you can name things the same. Some even want to be able to have two VIs with the same name in memory at the same time. (Scoping rules to follow in future LabVIEWs.) You can write a small program that lists out the names of all the controls and indicators in a VI using the VI server property nodes. Oh, OK I'll give you an example. (See attached)

Allow to have the file name with extension in contacts thumbnails

When I print a contact sheet from the Print module, I would like to have the option to have under each thumbnail the file name complete with the extension; e.g. "Sample.jpg". Right now I can only have the file name, e.g. "Sample".

I think you are talking about unzipping or extracting the contents
of the Zip file. Use the API in 'java.util.zip'

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

That is becuase Pages 5.1 has numerous unnounced surprises for the unwary user. Among the surprises:
- it strips out images from headers and footers without warning
- it strips out bookmarks without wanring (yes, all those bookamrks you laboriously put into a document: poof! Gone.)
- it strips out alternating left/right margins, without warning.
There are many more suprises, as you'll see from glancing through these discussions. They fall into two main categories: things that are present in version 4.3 but that are missing in 5.1, things like
-mail merge
-meaningful Applescript/Services support
-non-contiguous text selection
-ability to set defaul zoom
-ability to see comments while editing
-ability to print comments
-ability to read RTF files
-ability to drag in hyperlinked ted from a browser
These about about 90 other features are gone.
Then there are the bugs. Hyperlinks do not reliably export to a PDF file any longer. There have been multiple problems with printing report. Some fonts place stray characters in the headers. Many reports of the program crashing, courrupting files, etc.
Fortunately for you, the previous version of Pages is still on your system. Export any documents you may have created or edited with Pages 5.1 (another great surprise: files created with version 5.1 cannot be read by any previous version of Pages: not just 4.3 but even 5.01!). Then trash 5.1 and use 4.3 until (unless?) it is stable and has a reasonably robust feature set.

If you have already updated to Pages 5.2 on your Mac, you may be trying to open the file with a previous version of Pages. If this is the case, you have two versions of Pages on your Mac & are trying to open Pages 5 documents with Pages 4. Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there then right-click on the Dock icon & select Options > Keep in Dock.
Installing new versions of iWork has never replaced existing versions. This is nothing new. The only thing new is that the '09 apps are moved to an iWork '09 folder if they were purchased from the Mac App Store. If they were installed from disk they should already be in a separate folder in Applications.

With this one you can move the new "Menu" button into the Customize Palette, and then when you hit the '''Alt''' key the "Menu will open down from the Titlebar on the left. Won't affect the action of the Firefox button when you de-select the Menu Bar.<br />

Album Shuffle Doesn't Work Properly When Albums Have The Same Name

I'm using the latest versions of iTunes 7.0.2 and 5.5G iPod v1.2.1, but this problem has existed in (as far as I know) all iPods to date. It certainly still continues to occur on the latest iPod.
Example of the problem: I have many Albums by different Artists. I listen to them on my iPod by using "Album Shuffle" which plays the contents of an album in sequential order, but successive albums in random order. This is good when it works. However, iTunes and iPod have a problem when more than 1 album has the same name. So, let's say you have 3 albums by 3 different groups (Band A, B, and C), all called "Greatest Hits". The expected behaviour is that "Greatest Hits by Band A will play tracks 1-10, then another random album, and then sometime later, the album "Greatest Hits" by Band C will play tracks 1-15. That would be good, but this does not happen. Here's what actually happens:

Some Album / Band X / Track 15
Some Album / Band X / Track 16
Greatest Hits / Band A / Track 1
Greatest Hits / Band B / Track 1
Greatest Hits / Band C / Track 1
Greatest Hits / Band B / Track 2

Greatest Hits / Band C / Track 3

... (until all "Greatest Hits" tracks by Bands A, B, and C have finished)

As you can see, the iPod treats all 3 "Greatest Hits" as one humungous album. Now, until version 7, even iTunes appeared to be pretty confused about this, but with the latest version added the "Album Artist" tag (which I've applied correctly to all tracks in my Library), so that it can identify albums as separate entities properly, even if they have the same name. (This was necessary for Cover Flow to work.) Sadly, this logic has not made it to the iPod, and we still have the crazy playback situation above.
Since the first day I bought my first iPod back in 2002, I've always used Album Shuffle, and this has always been a problem. I was surprised to find that even the latest iPod still hasn't fixed this, even though iTunes seems to have. Apple, please could you fix this?

Can't have the word subtitution feature without running the auto-correction

hi everybody,
a week ago i change my bb style to z10 , and notice that I can't have word subtitution without set the auto-correction on. i don't live in a country where english is primary language, so i find this very annoying, because autotext is one of my favourite feature from my previous blackberry. I can't have the auto-correction on because it always changes what i type into something VERY different...
another problem is ringtone notification of bbm message is the same as bbm group, so it's a little bit annoying having your blackberry rings all the time because of chat in group and i have 2 active groups right now.
the third annoying thing is the numeric keypad, it always turns back to alphabet keypad everytime i hit space. it takes too long just to type 2 * 5 = 10 + 10 = 20 (for example). i wonder what i should do to keep staying in numeric mode.
i wonder if there's already solutions to my problem, maybe an app or update.
Other than those problems, i think z10 is a very good blackberry phone.
