Close all Inactive Apps
1. Double-click the Home button to see all Inactive Apps
2. Hold the Apps down for a second or two until you see the minus sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close App
4. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo

I have starter 3.0 and cannot share pictures via outlook express. Evidently that version is discontinued and my outlook express does not support the MAPI that is required. I think the only solution is to upgrade to photoshop
elements or to send photos as attachment to your e-mail. I have the same problem using Zoom Browser EX sending photos via internet. I spent a whole day trying to resove this issue and have exhausted all options. Just like "Instant share" in HP image Zone that was replace by photoshop album starter 3.0 and now it is out dated. -
I have an IMac running on 10.6.8 and today for the first time mail will not do anything when I hit send. Can anyone help out there?
Check your Window menu -> Activity menu to see if anything is really not happening. If it isn't happening, check your settings.

I cannot email photos from within iPhoto (v. 9.5.1). When I hit send I get a message: "Your email did not go through because the server did not reply." This happens for both my iCloud account and my Shaw account. What to do???
Are you able to email from Mail with those two accounts? If so:
1 - go to iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete both accounts. Now add them back and try again.
2 - a better solution IMO is to set Mail as the email client for iPhoto is iPhoto's General preference pane. This gives you better access to your contacts, a sent copy of all emails and, if you want a layout similar to iPhoto's, photo layouts located in Mail's stationary. -
a while back i was in a group chat and was spammed with thousands, yes, thousands of texts at once. when i started up my computer, imessage attempted to load the messages. Now, when i send a message it will show up on my phone, but i cant see it on my computer, when i hit send it just vanishes. this is an improvement from months ago however, when my messages wouldnt even send. im running 10.8.5.
Please read this whole message before doing anything.
Back up all data.
Quit Messages if it’s running.
Step 1
Hold down the option key and select
Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Move the following items from the Library folder to the Trash (either may not exist):
Caches/com.apple.Messages
Caches/com.apple.imfoundation.IMRemoteURLConnectionAgent
Leave the Library folder open. Log out and log back in. Try Messages again. If it works now, stop here. Close the Library folder.
Step 2
If you still have problems, quit Messages again. Go back to the Finder and move the following item from the open Library folder to the Desktop:
Messages
Note: you are not moving the Messages application. You’re moving a folder named “Messages.”
Test. If Messages now works, delete the Messages folder on the Desktop. Otherwise, quit Messages again. Put back the folder you moved, overwriting the newer one that may have been created in its place, and continue.
Step 3
In the Preferences subfolder, there may be several files having names that begin with any of the following strings:
com.apple.iChat
com.apple.ids
com.apple.imdsmsrecordstore
com.apple.imessage
com.apple.imservice
Move them all to the Desktop. There may also be a file with the name "com.apple.imagent.plist". Move that to the Trash.
Also in the Preferences folder, there's a subfolder named "ByHost". Open it and do the same thing.
Log out and log back in. Test again. This time Messages should perform normally, but your settings will be lost. You may be able to put back some of the files you moved to the Desktop in this step. Relaunch and test after each one. Eventually you should find one or more that causes Messages to malfunction. Delete those files and recreate whatever settings they contained.
If the issue is still not resolved, quit Messages again and put all the items you moved to the Desktop back where they were. You don’t need to replace the items you moved to the Trash. Stop here and post again.
If you later decide that you don’t like the results of steps 2 and 3, you can undo them completely by quitting Messages and restoring the items you deleted in those steps from your backup. -

lots of people seem to be havgin a problem sending email from iCloud webmail.
does your email address have uppercase characters in it?
if so, try creating an alias in lowercase (go to preferences in iCloud webmail and select 'accounts') and see if email sends okay from that -
When trying to send E-mail via AOL i get the message "rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying" I have checked settings as per answers to similar question
From which account does the email not send? When sending from an account, the iPad will first try to use the aoutgoing server for that account. If it can't it will try the other accounts listed.in the setting on the iPad for that account. It soulds like the server for the account is not working and that the alternate server is resjecting the messag since it did not originate ffrom the account associated with that server, That is to prevent sending spam.

Does this issue occur with any file that you try to send, or do you find that it's specific to one file? If it's a file-specific error, and the file is large, please try sending the file via Adobe SendNow. (You can sign in to Adobe SendNow at Sign in or create an account | Adobe SendNow using the same credentials you use to sign in to Adobe Send.)

Fatal error on versa mail. unit shuts down when i hit the versa mail button
During deletion of emails from my versa mail account the unit crashed. When I hit the versa mail button now, the unit shuts off. I cannot access my email on the unit.
Post relates to: Treo 650 (Cingular)try erasing all the data to factory specs, but back everything up with a hot sync- This worked with my 755P
After erased/formatted, try versa mail. If it works then create a new user name and export the backed up data to the new username and sync.
I was having the same issues, but my phone was not restarting or crashing. I formatted the phoneto factory specs and it works fine now, I just cannot figure out how to export my favorite buttons to the new user name.
The reason why this may work is a setting in your user name that was tinkered with or messed up. Going to factory defaults is just another way of starting from scratch. -

Error(-101) encountered when trying to send a mail

I am trying to send a mail through Business One 2005A. When i click on the email icon, a pop up window appears that asks if i want to attach an edited report with the mail. when i click "Yes", i get an error message error(-101) encountered. but if i click "No", i dont get that error. Can anyone please let me know what this error is all about?

This could be caused by folder permissions. Try creating a new share on the server (I typically create a share off the root of the drive, called something like B1_MAIL or SBO_MAIL), granting Full Control to all domain users and then mapping your attachments path in General Settings to this new folder. If this solves the problem then you can tighten up the security to fit your requirements afterwards.

DMP when trying to send a mail

My client is on 8.81 PL04 and for only one of the users, when they try send an internal mail, it gives the following error:

Also to add to my comments, the dump file generated could be related to many factors like, the memory, the number of applications running on the client, add-ons etc. If this is one of I would suggest you to close all applications, clear the temp files , log back in and try. SAP will only investigate if the issue is occuring everytime and should be reproducible and there is a long process before you can log a message with SAP on dump file.

Rejected password when trying to send e-mail
When I try to send mail, I get a 'rejected password' message no matter how many times I reenter the password. What could be the problem? I lost one e-mail account when I did an upgrade to high speed about a week ago, and haven't been able to use my new e-mail account to send e-mail messages. I can receive messages using my new account and think all of the server information is correct---all in all-- a confusing mess.

Where exactly do I put the fully qualified 'user name'?
I have three columns at the top of the page, Description, Server Name already filled in, and In Use By Account already filled in.
If I click on the Server Name I'm using, another option shows up at the bottom of the page, called Account Information, and below that a place to type in Description. Is that where I'd type my full e-mail address? -

This just started yesterday, when I open the new mail dialogue to send an e-mail there is no toolbar with the "send, save etc." buttons. So there is no way for me to send the e-mails that I'm drafting. I can send replies to emails but not when I am writing a new e-mail. Please help! I use e-mail a lot with my job and this is becoming a problem!
