When I import photos they are changing color, what to do to come back to regular download?
Lightroom worked good, I tuned it off and I turn on again and all my photos after import are in different color like black with white and gree, all the same tone. What to do to come back to previous? what have I done?
I use Smart Converter which is free on the App Store. It is easy to use , just drag and drop the files to convert to Quicktime , takes no time and great results.

In the documents screen - sorry, new to this so not sure if that's the right terminology... Basically the screen showing all documents, if you drag down, there should be two options at the of of the page: Date and Name. Select Name and your list should now be in alphabetic order.

When I import photos, there are no events created
Just lately, when I import new photos into iPhoto, they're not added to the Events view, only the Photos view. Anyone have any insight as to why this is happening?
There are there - you are looking in the wrong place - last import - Photos - last "n" months - And events are all simply different views of the same photos
You are not finding them because of one of two reasons - you camera date is set wrong (correct on the camera and for already imported photos using the adjust time/date command - or the events sort is wrong ( correct under the view menu ==> sort events)

Today I tried to import photos from my camera into iPhoto 11. No problems up until today. I imported the photos as usual, but they did not show up in the events section. I went to the Photo section and they appeared there. I could even name the event there, but it still wasn't visible in Events. The only way to get it to show up was to merge the events in the Photo section into an event that was appearing and then split the event. Very strange. I imported from my iPhone 5 with no problems. Photos appeared in both Events and Photos. Anyone else have this happen? Solutions? I called support and they did not have any suggestions other than to try to restart computer. That didn't solve it.
You are probably looking in the wrong place - all photos in Photo view and in event too unless you have a corrupted library

Nest most common cause is a bad data/time on the camera - this can be corrected using a smart album to find the photos from that camera and then using using the adjust time/date command to fix the bad ones
YOu can alwasy find the event a Photo is in by selecting it and selecting show event

When i send photos, they are received as the same photo
When I send pictures from iphoto, all the pictures are received as the same picture. Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong.

My computer crashed and I've lost two of my films. On my purchases they are still listed how do I get them back?
Re-downloading of movies has been licensed by the movie studios only in the US as of right now. I'm guessing, since you refer to "films", that your're not in the US and if so will not be able to download your movies again without paying. You'll need to restore from your backups.

The new event are created when i import photo in the top.
Before they where put in the end.
All my event (around 600) are classified on the top the old and a the end the new.
Where i can set the event at the end ?

When i import to iPhoto from nikon, photos download perfect - when i click off, they are gone. Huh??

So you have iPhoto 2 on an old Mac and iPhoto '11 on the new one?
Never import an iPhoto library into another one - you simply copy it form the old computer to the new computer and launch iPhoto to conver it - Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac - launch iPhoto on the new mac and it will open the library and convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward. Still need information on the Nickon import issue - what can you tell about that? So far all i know is it is not working

When I import photos taken from my Ipod Touch 4 to My Mac Desktop, I click delete photos on ipod, but they do not delete. Is the only way to delete them individually (I have 1,400 photos!) or is there a way to delete them all in one go?
I realise you can you can delete them on your ipod slowly as you have to click on each one, and you can restore your ipod, but surely there is a way to get around this?

Just installed mountain Lion. Viewing a pdf sent to me using preview and some colors are appearing BLACK, however when I view the same PDF in Acrobat they are perfect and what they are suppose to be. WHY would PREVIEW showing a different color?
Here's what I've found on the issue:
Pantone color definitions have changed (coinciding with CS6) — they are now "Pantone+" (I think that's what they're called). The "+" apparently means they're now LAB colors. Lab colors are not properly displayed in Preview (or in Finder previews) — they display as black (as far as I can tell, in all circumstances). I'm sure it's a tad more complicated than that, but that's the gist.
Now the bad news — nobody seems to know anything about a fix or workaround (unless you convert your PDFs to process — this might be a fix for sending to clients). It causes issues for me in AI files — being able to view them in the finder (with previews) is a HUGE time saver for my workflow... when they're all black, not so much.
In my chat with a director of product dev at Adobe, they placed the responsibility to fix on Apple (assuming Apple wants to support Pantone color definitions in their OS). -
When I import photos to my iMac, taken from my Windows PC using a flash drive, the photos in iPhoto are dated as the date last modified on PC instead of date picture taken.
Then you need to ask a PC forum how to export the photos there to include the Metadata (specifically the EXIF data)
If there is valid EXIF data iPhoto uses it (the EXIF data is originally added to the photo by the digital camera) and if there is no EXIF data then the only inofrmaiton IPhoto have available is the file metadata and that is what is used
You can correct the dates in iPhoto using the batch change data/time command

iMovie seems to have developed a glitch. When i try to import photos they show in the timeline but not in the movie.

I have several users in an exchange environment who cannot email a photo from the iPhone. When the click on Email Photo, they are prompted to configure a mail account even though there is already an exchange account in place. How do I remediate this? Not all of the users in our environment have this issue. If the users having this issue, install a secondary email account, Gmail, Hotmail, etc, then they can send through those accounts. Why would the exchange account not be seen to send photos?
Sounds like it worked until the policies associated with the account that are creating the problem were fully pushed down.
Try setting up a new (test) Exhange account and see if it behaves the same way on the phone (after removing the problem account from the phone, of course).
