When I imported email addresses into TB, they landed in the nickname column and I can't manually change 1000 addresses!
Is there a way I can change the nickname column to email addresses? If I try importing the address book again (I have it on a different flashdrive), I'm afraid I'll have 2 copies and things will get even more complicated.
My guru said when he imported the addresses there was no opportunity to 'line up the data.' These addresses came from Outlook Express. Do you still think we should be able to line them up? I hate to delete what I now have (have redone maybe 10% of the 1500 addresses) and then wind up in the same fix. Thank you for your help!!!

If you delete email on your desktop using iCloud, they will be automatically deleted on the iPhone and iPad.

I have 3 computers, 1 dead, 1 on a slow pc I gave my wife and 1 new PC. I went to the Apple store and Deauthorized all computers. still no success, shows 4 out of five after the deauthorize process.
what's up with that?What happens when you try to sync? Error message?
You can only Deauthorize All when all five authorizations have been used. -

I've tried everything in the help sections on the firefox website. I've tried on multiple occasions to get into the live chat to talk to someone, but its always either closed or I can't get anybody to respond.
Is this how you do it?
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -
Recommendation for a new feature - alert when an important email arrives
Why can't I set my iPhone to give me an alert when an important email arrives? This new feature would alert me when I get an email from a predetermined sender or subject line. AOL offers this feature. Why can't my iPhone do it too? The phone would need to read the sender address and subject line of each email, and then bounce it against a list of pre-configured alerts that the user programs.
This would also cut down on data consumption, since users would not have to check and recheck their mail when waiting for somethign important. With an alert, you just set it and forget it.iOS 6, coming this fall, will include a new feature that allows you to designate a VIP list for just this purpose. Why does 'User not registered for online use' show up when I try to import a cd into itunes? None of the cd info shows up either.
Well, the format I upload from the camera is "video clip" or "video for Windows"...sometimes I've converted them to avi format, too. But as I said, it never even lets me get that far...I never get to even select a clip. As soon as I tell the program to "import/clip" it freezes up before I can even go to the folder that the clips are in. It has only begun to do this recently, and I'd never had any problems like this before. Last night I tried it again, and I clicked "open composition", and it froze when I did that too.
I'm not sure how much more specific I can be about the details of the clips, since I'm positive it has nothing to do with the clips themselves...I'm running Windows XP, though...Home Edition Service Pack 2, Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHz, with 504 MB of RAM. I have had the automatic updates turned on since I did my last reformat a couple of weeks ago. Could it have something to do with some kind of an update it may have done? -
My iPhone has suddenly started sending emails in Courier New (rather than the standard Arial). They appear in Arial when I compose them, but turn to Courier new in the sent folder and when displayed to the recipient. I use Yahoo Mobile Mail. Help! How can I change the settings so that the sent emails go back to Arial? Thank you!

Why pay $22 for a product that does not work?
Can this situation be remedied; how can I make it work?The only thing that comes close is ExportPDF at $19.99 (with tax that could be about right) but it's an online subscription.
