When I launch iWeb, it never displays on my desktop only in the bar below. It's like it is minimized and I can't see it.

I launch the software and it's no where to be found except in the bar below.  This was after I had upgraded some of my other MAC software.  What happened? Anyone know a fix?

Try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iiWeb.plist, that resides in your
     User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
     User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder.
Click to view full size
3 - launch iWeb and try again.
If that doesn't work launch iPhoto, select a couple of photos and use the Share ➙ iDVD menu option. It might take a couple of tries.

    Well Apple, I'm not sure what happened here - but it seems like you hired some engineers that must have been fired by Microsoft. Seriously, your new map app is a COMPLETE JOKE, and is simply useless. Did you even bother to beta test it? Obviously if
