When I listen to a song, all I can see is the album artwork!
Earlier today, I must've pressed something on the iPod to put it into a mode where I can only see the album artwork when I listen to a song - or even worse, if it doesn't have one, it's just a blank square. A while ago I read about some way to put it like this, but I can't remember what it was or how to reverse it. Any help would be appreciated.
Have you tried pressing the middle button to cycle views? There is one view that is similar to how you describe, although it only lasts a few seconds and I wasn't aware you could use that view by default.
You could also trying restoring your iPod.

Nope. I tried opening a new inspector window, and sometimes it opens the document inspector, but there are no icons or buttons to toggle between text, graphics, etc. But then if I click on the document icon, it switches to layout and I'm stuck in that mode without options to change to a different inspector.

What if I Tunes can't find the album artwork for some of my CDs' within the i-tunes store? There should be a way for it to download the Album Artwork automatically anyway ,shoild'nt there?My friens do it with all there CDs' but they moved.They do it with CDs' that i-tunes do'nt even know exist .I just can't figure it out .Any advice or help out there ?

If not in the iTunes Store, iTunes uses the Graceland database for artwork and tag info. -
Hello. I have switched laptops to a Windows 7 refurb. On my old computer, when I had any window open in Firefox, I was able to see the name of the site in a small block in the taskbar at a glance without hovering. For example, when I had Facebook open, the block/tab said "Facebook" and I was able to see if I had any notifications. (The pages were not pinned.) Now, all I can see for any window is the Mozilla logo. I have tried all kinds of settings on Firefox as well as in Windows for tabs, etc. How can I see each window "in miniature" before?
I also cannot see the "Firefox" dropdown menu in the upper lefthand corner of the window when it is fully open. All I have is the Mozilla logo, not the word "Firefox" with an arrow.

i photo, I was viewing a book in slideshow mode and it froze on the cover page. I let the computer battery die out but when I powered up again the screen is frozen on the 1st page of the book. if I F3 it allows me to see a few other screens but if I click on them I am back to the frozen cover page again.
You should really read the manual.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer. -
I turn on my macbook pro and the screen is all black, all I can see is the cursor
My Macbook Pro is not working, when I turn it on the screen is all black. I can see it is on because the letters have light underneath and the cursor is visible. But otherwise it is not working at all, can someone help me?

I have just tried to update my iPad connected to my computer all seem to go well but my iPad has now frozen it just shows the apple emblem with the line underneath. can't even turn it off I have updated before and never had a problem.
helpIt may take a while to download, prepare and install the update. The line under the Apple logo is a progress indication. Give it a bit of time but if it still fails to update, you may can do the following...
You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.
If that still doesn;t work, you may need to restore your iPad. Follow these instructions. -

Try closing Game Centre via the iPad's multitasking bar and see if it works when you re-open it :
iOS 7 : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the Game Centre's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
iOS 6 and below : from the home screen (i.e. not with Game Centre 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Game Centre app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
I updated my iphone software to IOS 6.2 yesterday and im not sure if it is a coincidence but now, my contact names do not show on incomming calls or messages. Also they do not show on past calls or recent history.
All my contacts in my phonebook still exist and are correct, the problem only occurs when receiving calls or messages. please help i need this fixing

If itunes gives an error with restoring (DFU/Recovery or just normal)
try this:
open your computer and search on windows; C://windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts
open up the hosts file in note pad you will see IP adresses and more add another line and put in this:
#74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
this is a by-pass to the cydia/saurik restore server, it has nothing to do with jailbreaking over voiding apple's warranty

I need to reinstall Acrobat 9 STD which we purchased online. When I go to the provided link, it does not help me out. I was eventually able to find the download page for older products but it only shows Acrobat back to v10.x Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

If the phone will not turn on at all, I would reset the device with this process:
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Try pressing Command+Alt+8. If the screen reduces to normal size you should be able to see the box to turn it off in Zoom prefs.

I downloaded some albums using my iphone (3GS), I then synced it with my PC. Now all the album artwork has disappeared off my iphone but not off itunes on the PC. How can I get the album artwork back onto my iphone?
I had the similar problem last night and found a solution (although it takes more than a few clicks). Highlight all the album tracks in itunes on the pc and right click "get info". Check the artwork box in this window. I found that the now playing art was showing up in the itunes window, but on songs that were missing artwork showed nothing in the get info box. When I replaced the artwork by using the artwork command, or manually adding it into the "get info" window. It was annoying but my iphone updated every album.

first of all, no one is going to respond to this becuase limewire is used basically in your situation illegally. But let's say you import a cd, left click on the songs you imported and hit get album artwork, if nothing comes up, the album sn't in the itunes database, get it online. And I suggest never to mention limewire and music files on the same post here, since limewire is a file sharing program. Use Itunes, it's easier. theo

Thank you! I put some self help hypnosis tracks to listen to on my iPod. I did not want to go to the next track automatically, I wanted to listen to them individually, one at a time. (If I fell asleep, I did not want to 'wake up' in the middle of a different track.) Your information helps me understand that I need to re-load this playlist onto my iPod from my Mac computer, only first, I need to UNCHECK the boxes in front of each track so the iPod will STOP each time after playing the selected track. It is too bad that so many functions are not availabvle within the iPod, but that is probably why they can make it so compact.
