When i log onto my hp pavilion it wont allow me to go to my desktop and my task bar is missing

So I have a HP Pavilion 15-e021nr Notebook PC and recently I reinstalled the audio drive and touchpad since I was having issues with those two and when I rebooted my PC all of a sudden I'm not able to get to my desktop from the Windows page. I am able to log on but it just stays on the Windows page instead of going to my desktop. It just freezes but I'm able to move the mouse. I think my PC is updated to Windows 8 but I'm not quite sure... my task bar isn't working but I can still see the time and all the items usually on the bottom right but everything else on the left like my Internet Explorer and etc. is gone. I was able to get to my desktop just now but it only works if I tap on the windows button and tap the screen fast but I'm sitting here with no task bar and no audio....
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME??? I would highly appreciate it

This is particularly for the sound issue. However, some of the other issues could be resolve by following the thread.

That pop-up asking you to buy an anti-virus product (and some telling you that you are infected) is probably a virus.

In the iBooks application on the Mac, there is a checkbox to sync highlights and notes across devices.
I don't see a similar setting in the iBooks app on my iPad. It may require iBooks on the Mac as a mediator.

I've spent over 3 hours on the phone/chatting to online support and none of it seemed to help as it all revolved around resetting emails etc but can't do any of it without my access to my old email. Now my phone won't take cloud because they advised to set up new apple ID and use that, but can't sign out of old one completely. There are a couple of things that can result in the session going directly into enable mode instead of into user mode. I think the most likely one is a configuration on the vty lines which specifies privilege level. I suggest that you check the configuration of the 2811 and look under the vty lines for privilege level 15. If it is there remove it and your sessions should start in user mode.
It is also possible that if you are using aaa to authenticate and authorize that the user ID you are using has been configured to automatically give enable access. But I am guessing that the issue is the privilege level on the vty lines.

Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History)
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I think you answered your own question. If I read what your wrote correctly, you sent yourself a message to your phone number and you are wondering why it was not recieved on your iPad? If that is what you wrote, the reason is your iPad is not a cell phone and messages sent to a cell number, will not be received on your iPad. No.. I have been through parental control and it does not affect this problem. Now if I log onto this user I cannot get out even with a comman/option/escape; I have to unplug the power to the computer to get it to restart with the administrator. I saw somewhere that there is a process in which I can delete the use and then create a new user with the same name and password and then recover everything - but I cannot find that solution. are you backing up files, or doing a Time machine backup, either way, the Time machine will STOP when finished and show "last backup at XXXXXX" meaning its done...... OR if when transferring files, it will show a progress bar on your desktop and vanish when files are copied.
Open up the Hitachi drive (your G drive is made by Hitachi, and the best made by the way).....and see if the files are there.
a MORE VISUAL way is to open the hard drive file, and drag and drop files INTO the Gdrive and you can see them visually be copied there as you do it.
To see your HD on your desktop GOTO FINDER......PREFERENCES....then GENERAL TAB.........check the box marked HARD DRIVES.........then your Gdrive will appear on your desktop........open it from there, and DRAG and drop files from anywhere INTO the Gdrive....... easy visual way to see the files being copied into the Gdrive.

The Reset feature adds a folder on your desktop named Old Firefox Data. I recommend hanging onto that for a few weeks in case you discover something essential that the Reset feature left behind.
