Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History)
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Mike, are you working with raw images?
For some raw images auto exposure is not available, have a look at this manual page:

When i log on to safari, the font gets bigger like the text zooms in, how do i zoom out of text?

Does your entire screen look like it zoomed in?
If so, then hold control and scroll down. This will zoom the screen out to normal.
If not, you can either press Command and comma or go up to the safari tab and click preferences. After this, go to appearance and make sure your text sizes are a reasonable number, i like between 12-18. And if this doesn't work, the last thing i can think of would be to click advanced tab, and make sure you don't have a minimum size requirement that is set ridiculously high.

Hi. When you were in the recovery drive doing permissions, did you try and run a repair of the boot drive? Did you try single user mode? Try these first and then go back and try to reinstall the operating system.When I say repair boot drive I don't mean permissions. There are both options in disk utilities.When you open disk utilities ,you will see in the left column two drives plus possibly a boot partition that look like an external driv. click on the second drive and in first aid use repair disk. If you are talking about searches from - http://www.google.com/ - are you logged into a Google account all the time? If so, check your "Search Settings" from the "gear" in the upper-right corner of that Google search page and see if you have '''Open search results in a new browser window.''' check-marked, at the bottom of that preferences page. In order for this content to not appear grayed out, you need to enable the Manually manage music option from under the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes. Keep in minding that manually managing your iPod's contents is different from having content automatically sync to your device from iTunes. See here for more information.

the ones that are greyed out did not get downloaded all of the way. You need to delete or unsync them and redownload or resync them.

Thanks everybody- I found a thread on a forum which solved my problem. In Dreamweaver: Commands → Clean Up HTML → (make sure non-Dreamweaver Comments" is checked. This clean up made the template then editable.
