When I'm on Facebook and play Fish World, sending gifts is no longer working, the drop down box won't open enough to see the "send" button. It works in other games, but not in Fish World, and I contacted Fish World who said it was a browser problem.

starting yesterday I cannot get the drop down box to open to send gifts to my friends. Fish world told me a few weeks ago it was due to some updates with Facebook, but now that has been fixed and I can't get the game inFB to work. It works with other browsers - Chrome and IE9. Is there something I need to do on my end to fix this? Other facebook games work fine with drop down boxes, it's only fish world.

Long answer:
iTunes in the Cloud is a feature of your iTunes store account that allows you to redownload or stream your past purchases. When you delete a purchased track that is downloaded to your computer (like the first one shown here) you are asked if you also want to hide the song from iCloud. This would remove it from the computer and also stop it showing up with the iCloud symbol as the other tracks from that album (which are not downloaded) do.
If a track shows with the cloud symbol you can play (stream) it by double-clicking the title, or click the cloud symbol to download a local copy to your library. If you try to delete one of these tracks you get a slightly different message confirming that you want to hide the track. Clicking hide will remove the listing from the library and any other device that shows your past purchases.
Should you want to retrieve any item hidden in this way at a later date use Store > View My Account > iTunes in the Cloud > Hidden Purchases > Manage.
To hide all your previous purchases that are not downloaded to your computer use Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.

Windows will scale applications display or windows will not scale application display depending on how the application is coded. Photoshop is coded in a way that its display is not scaled by windows. Photoshop knows about your displays high pixel count not its resolution so it uses its pixels however it does not scale its UI to make it usable on your display. Other application let Windows scale their display output.   For example Microsoft default for is Surface Pro 3, 216 ppi display is to scale applications display up 150% so the surface pro 3 display which has 2160x1440 pixels a 216 ppi resolution look like at display with the user is using with 1440x960 pixels. The Application works like the display is 1440x960 and Windows scale those pixels to the displays using the displays 2160x1440 pixels the effectively changing it resolution to 144ppi rather than the actual 216ppi.
The reg update and external manifest file effectively tells photoshop its working on such a size display display some number of pixel wide and some number photoshop uses that as the display size in turn Windows scale those pixels to use the displays 2160x1440 pixels efector lowing its 216ppi resolution. Photoshop CC 2014 2X UI would be like using windows 200% option applications would be shown the are working on a display 1080x720 instead of the Surface Pro 3 2160x1440. Note that 1080x720 does not meet PS requirement of 1024x768. Photoshop UI would not fit on the Surface Pro 3 display..
Since you have a 4k display if you have CC 2014 you can use its 2x UI effectively Photoshop will be running on a 1920x1080 display and have half the resolution of you 4K display 3840x2160 pixels four native pixels are use as a single pixel.   1920x1080 pixels exceed PS requirement.

Do those entries have a yellow star at the far right?
If they have then they are bookmarks. You can remove them if you open that link and click the star to open the Edit This Bookmark dialog and click the Remove button in that dialog.

here is fix! i tried only step 1 and then restarted my computer and now it works. Choose remove All Files

Hello.
I believe this is a Windows related issue, since it's the windows Save File manager we're talking about here (right?). You should contact Microsoft for help on that one, I believe. You'd expect to be able to delete the entries by simply tapping ''Delete'' on your keyboard when they are focused (that's how it goes for deleting specific form autocomplete entries in Firefox), but I haven't tried that.

Did you try Safe Mode?

Some websites require a special client certficate for access. If you don't have that certficate, you'll have to contact the site operator to find out how to get one.

Hi I would like to know how to disable the drop down box which appears below the search box on the start page when I start to type in my search topic. If for example the first letter I type in is an S then it shows a list of previous searches of sites beginning with the letter S.

I installed a new printer and Acrobat Pro is not listing it as an option in the drop down box. Other apps are working. Printer is networked, platform is Windows.

I've rebooted numerous times, reloaded the software twice, spent 4 hrs on the phone with HP and 2 with Adobe. No luck. When I updated firefox to 4.0 the only things that really changed were a couple of buttons and the position of the tabs, the blue navigation bar and the drop down menus for file etc didn't change at all.
My computer also freezes when visiting certain websites with firefox, not Every time I visit but frequently. The websites are usually commonly visited websites (Gmail, stuff.co.nz) and don't do it when I am using internet explorer or another computer. This started when I downloaded the upgrade.

To get the new style UI you need to hide the menu bar. To do that in the View menu select Toolbars, then click on the "Menu Bar" entry.
If you need access to the menus you can press either Alt or F10 to temporarily display them.

If I understand what you're describing, that's a function of the phpbb forum, not something Safari is doing or can change.
A suggestion: Instead of just clicking on the posts you want to read, I would Command-click to open them in new tabs. Your page of search results will remain open in the first tab, so when you're finished reading the posts, you can close their tabs and return to your list of search results.

Sometimes clicking on an object in the drop-down box of the search does not put that into the search box.

when putting an inquiry into the search box, the drop-down gives suggestions. Sometimes when selecting a suggestion, it does not appear in the search box. Reboot of computer fixes the problem. reboot of the browser does not.

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?
