When I'm putting my mac in fullscreen, the apps downstairs are in the way. How do I fix this?

When I'm putting my mac in fullscreen, the apps downstairs are in the way so a little bit of the screen can´t I see beacuse of the apps. How do I fix this?

I'm assuming you mean the dock.  If it is in your way, you can hide it:
