When I make corrections in lightroom cc, I don't find them in my photos when I load Lightroom 5 ?

That's correct.
Lightroom 5 does not know about any edits you make in Lightroom CC.
Any transferring of edits would have to be performed manually, via XMP, although I would recommend you re-design your process. If you are attempting to do "real" edits on "real" photos but you are just testing Lightroom CC, then don't. Do the "real" work in Lightroom 5 until you are committed to purchasing LR CC/LR 6. Use LR CC/LR 6 on photos that have little to no importance, until you are committed to purchasing/upgrading, and then start doing "real" work in LR CC/LR 6.

As being a novice with my Mac Pro computer and Cannon 5D mark 3 camera my issue has arisen while over the last year and half, when down loading into my Photoshop Lightroom 4, my 18,000 photograph were not catalogued correctly, or hardly at all, so now over several months time my photos have apparently been redirected in my libraries and have begun not appearing in their allotted frames next to their number in the library they are in. they also have a small question mark (?) next to the photo space. The frames are blank but indicates that there is a photo there. The majority of photos are blank but about a tenth are seen . i apparently need to retrace where they went but do not know how to get that done . can someone help please?

It would be difficult to tell you where to begin. If you moved photos around to different folders and didn't use Lightroom to move them, that would cause Lightroom to lose track of where they are. You have to remember that your images are not "in" Lightroom. Lightroom simply points to them wherever they are on your computer. All of the location information as well as the changes that you make to your images is stored in the catalog, which is a database. This catalog is central to the operation of Lightroom, and it's essential that you understand how it works and how to make it work for you. For all of those images that have "?" On them, or the folders that have the same, you will have to go through the process of locating them and showing Lightroom where they are located. With 18,000 images, and many of them missing, it might just be easier to start a new catalog and organize things properly from the beginning in that catalog.

Lens correction in Lightroom not sending to photoshop when making a panorama

I cannot seem to find anyone else on the forums with this problem....
I have set the lens correction in Lightroom which does a beautiful job of removing vingetting and lens distortions.
However, when I go to "edit in" "Merge as panorama in photoshop", it does not carry forward the lens corection. The vingetting and all is visible which creates a horrible photoshop panorama.
I do not want to use photoshop's correction, I want to preserve the lightroom lens correction.
Am I missing something?
Any ideas?

Thanks very much John, I noticed when I applied it in LR5 it made a difference, but I guess what I was asking was it being applied twice, and as I shoot in raw you have answered my question, thank you so much.

Your camera will only apply lens correction (if switched on) to JPEGs, not to RAW files. Clearly you do not want to apply it twice.

Printing after making corrections with Lightroom

Hello,
I need some direction .. and hope that someone will help :) ..
Am making my corrections on my photos with Lightroom and anything I can't do in Lightroom .. I do in Photoshop .. however, when I print (please note .. I OUTLAB my prints) .. when I get my photos back .. they look nothing like the ones I have corrected in Lightroom i.e. too dark, etc. .. I do export them and am choosing the correct photo .. but they are not matching up with what I am sending out for printing.
Any suggestions? .. do I convert to home printing .. if so, any suggestions on printers? .. I'm new to digital .. I shoot with a Nikon D80 and a SB800 ..
Would appreciate any & all suggestions & help that you can give me.
Also, for those of you who outlab your photos .. any recommendations for good labs?

When foxstart loads up its not loaded correctly

I have Foxstart set as my home page but when i load firfox up its not displayed correctly, all the tabs are open instead of being above the search bar as tabs, they are all open one after another scrolling down the page, but if i refresh the page its displayed correctly. I noticed that I can not change the precision on a column in one of my tablesProbably that's a FK column.
For the other problem - probably it's caused by merge conflict and you have in the file symbols <<<<<< >>>>>> and non valid XML elements. You can try to replace the content of the file manually using version from repository. There will be better processing of suche cases in next release.

You only need to use the serial number during installation.
Have you, at least seemingly, been able to install, and then you are unable to start up?
If that is the case, you could try to reinstall using the full three step way:
Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool, and reinstall.

I'm sure I will be calling AppleCare, but the problem is, they charge for the phone calls don't they? Because I don't have money to be spending to be on the phone with a support service.
In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.
Also, because my computer is currently down, and I've lost all files how would that effect the use of my iPhone? Because if it doesn't get fixed by the time OS 5 is released, how would I be able to upgrade?!

If your iPhoto Advanced preference pane is setup like this
all photos you import into the library are COPIED into the library. Thus those photos in the folders outside of iPhoto are redundant and can be deleted to save space on your hard drive. There no need to keep those copies in the folders.
If you do have your advance preferences set as shown above you can access your photos for use outside of iPhoto according to the following User Tip by Terence Devlin which is the best treatise on how to access photos (for use outside of iPhoto): How to Access Files in iPhoto. Otherwise you access your photos from within iPhoto.

Make correction on Standard Hierarchy in Profit Center.

1. Pr Ctr Group can be deleted using KCH2.. Enter KCH2 and choose DELETE from the menu GROUP

3. The program SAPFICO has given is not to delete the hierarchy, but to delete a Profit Center Document...
To delete a PC Hierarchy, go to KCH4 and except for the Top Node, you can delete the child nodes...
In order to delete the child nodes, first change all Profit Center Masters that contain these child nodes... Assign all PCs to the Top Node.... Then delete the child nodes....
So, in a nut shell, I expect you to
a. Try KCH2 or KCH4 as suggested above..
b. In case you get error message, paste the same here
c. Let me know in case you are in a test system so that we can explore further avenues if need be..
