If you are going to change your AppleID login you will need to log out and back in on all your devices. Turn off 'Find My iPhone/iMac/iPod' first or you will find yourself unable to sign out and be stuck.

You might have choosen color mode as "Grayscale" in the new file dialog box. You need it to convert it into RGB. Go to Image Menu>Color Mode and select RGB there.

When I open an email, instead of the site opening I get a long web string that I need to click. Is used to open automatically when I opened the email. How can I go back to that?

When a message comes in from a site such as Amazon or Shutterfly the site itself does not open when the email is opened. I need to click on a long web string to open the message. It all used to appear when the email was opened. How can I make that happen again? It seems an unnecessary step otherwise.

I don't appear to have a toolbar either.

When I open Safari, it doesn't go to my home page?

I have set my preferences so that "new windows open with:" and "new tabs open with:" are set to home page. When I open Safari, the page that opens is the last website that I was on. I want it to open like it used to and go straight to my home page every time.
Any ideas? Am I screwing this up or is this a bug?

Open safari in top left whilst you are on it. Go to preferences. Then type this address into the bar that says homepage: http://livepage.apple.com/

I could not exit Safari so had to Force Quit but when I open it goes right back to the Yahoo home page that would not close. There was a little light under the Safari icon which told me that Safari was still running. Any ideas??

Quit Safari (by force if necessary.) Relaunch it by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. That will stop the page from reloading automatically.

How can I change home page setting

Try this,
Go to the url bar and type "about:config" press Enter two times.
In bar locate, type "browser.startup.homepage", in this option click with right button of mouse and click on "restore default"

Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen? Do you have a separator page selected? The page order typically may be changed in the Advanced tab of printer preferences, look for a "Page order" selection with an option of "Front to Back" or "Back to Front"

I cannot print from firefox. I can print from open office. It seems to have something to do with when frames open because in IE, I can print a whole page, but when I try to use a print button embeded in a page or frame it does not work.

In Internet Explorer, I was able to print by pushing the print button, but when opening a frame, like in mapquest, the embedded print button brings up an options window that has print frames options in it, but when hit OK in this box, a second error box comes up with a yellow exclamation point and nothing prints. Yes, I tried that.   The files were ordered by their original numbers as imported from the camera, but I batched them through Phocoshop to downsize all of them into a more manageable file size.   I opened that destination folder from quick time from where it said select image sequence.   I clicked on the first one and opened it.   The result was a large image with an arrow indicating a movie was ready to go.   When I pressed the arrow, though, I realized it had only imported that one frame so there was no movie.   The files are Jpgs and are about 450 KB each.
    To your knowledge are there any links to iMovie tutorials or quick time tutorials that may address this situation? Maybe there will be one I haven't looked at yet.

I'm sorry but I have lost my ability to get back to my opening Thunderbird page. It was working but went to a completely different start -up page as I mentioned in my original statement in my question. Also the system is very slow to respond and will repeatedly say it is not responding.

That is the screen that displays when you click on the actual email address in the Folder Pane instead of the Inbox folder.
If you have a folder pane showing click on the Inbox folder to see your mail.
If you are missing the folder pane, turn it back on.
From the Menu Bar select View-Layout-Folder Pane
No menu bar showing? Press the alt key.
