When i open an app, it is kicking me back to main screen after 5-10 seconds?

such as Facebook, Weather channel, etc. Email seems fine. Wireless is strong signal.

Shut down all programs that are running in the background.
1. Double-click the Home button to see Apps in the background
2. Hold the Apps down for a second or two until you see the minu sign
3. Tap the minus sign to close program
4. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo
If the above doesn't work, try this:
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings

My phone app goes back to main screen after 1.5 seconds.

1) When I try to open the phone app I get a white screen w/ blue banner for 1.5 seconds and then it goes back to my home screen.
2) When I get a phone call, there is a green banner at top of screen that says "touch to return to call". NEVER saw this before.
These two things started happening at the same time.
Have done "hard" restarts and downloaded/installed newest OS. STILL have the same two problems.
Looking for a fix.

Well i´ve been having this problem too, but just reinstaled the app and worked fine again, or just with reboot the OS. But yesterday it was the worst...I just downloaded the Aurora Feint actualization and no apps worked anymore, but the worst part was that my ipod listsong was gone...i can see it in the computer, but not in the iphone...so ill have to restore my backup...i´ll feedback to apple

Keypad freezing and unlock screen freezing also complete freezing in texts and Internet and then kicking me back to main screen

The keypad an unlock screen will freeze completely and I have to turn off my phone to unfreeze also when in a text or on the Internet it will freeze and kick me out of what I am in and go to the main screen. Try a hard reset. Hold Power button and home button until it restarts. Hold both till the Apple logo is displayed. Do not slide power off.
If that does not work you may need to restore.

When I open my iPad the page is too big for the screen and won't shrink down. The keypad has also become very 'sticky'

I have the exact same problem, I think. I was on my iPad 3's home page swiping R-L to locate a certain icon when all of a sudden the screen appeared to get HUGE. So big I could only see one or two icons. I couldn't even turn it off to try a reboot because after I pushed the sleep/wake button, I couldn't find the red slide bar. I finally just had to wait for the battery to die, then recharge it, and it looked normal again. I want to create a shortcut (Win7) that will automatically open the last file I used in the above apps when I open the app. Is there a command line switch like /r or /l that does that?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Bought my 1st iPhone today (4S) Just started using for less than 5 minutes and it has a voice command that talks on Everything and the pages wont scroll up and down and cant change screens from the page it boots on. Wrong apps open when I open an app...

So I bought my wife our 1st iPhone 4S today w/ Verizon. I booted it up and it started having a voice repeat every command, and function (no, its not Siri).
BTW... Siri doesn't work, I can't scroll in the settings, when I open an app it actually opens the wrong app, and I can't find a way do fix any of it. I tried a hard boot by holding down the power button and the button on the lower midddle of the phone. When it rebooted, it got worse. Now what?
Not too excited about switching phones if this has already begun... Any advice would be appreciated.

One of my apps won't update. A message comes up saying "The item you tried to buy is no longer available", but when I open the app, it works.

I looked at my iphone 4 and I had two apps that needed to be updated. I pressed "Update All", but only one of them updated. The other, which is the HauteLook app, didn't, and has the little red 1 on my app store application. When I open the app store, it says it needs to be updated. When I press update or update all, the little bar shows up, then a message comes up saying "The item you tried to buy is no longer avaliable". I pressed ok, and it still says it has to be updated. I have opened the app and used it, so it's not broken. I have turned off my phone and turned it back on, and the notification that I need to update it is still there. I have tried restarting my phone, and it's still there. I have also tried plugging my phone into my computer to see if the update shows up iTunes, but it doesn't. I have had my phone for almost 2 years and this has never happened to me before. I did just recently get the IOS 6 update, but since having it, I have had to update apps and never got this message until now. If anyone has any idea how to fix this I would really appericate the help!

I suggest trying the update again after an hour or two. Sometimes, the notice that an update is available comes an hour or two before the developers actually sends the revised app out to be downloaded.

How do you stop random screenshots from appearing when you open an app

These screenshots really bug me, especially when it comes to safari. I use safari daily and sometimes I stumble upon rather frightning images. Because.the screenshot that appears when you open an app is always a random snapshot of when you used the app in the past (I sometimes see screenshots that are over a year old), my biggest fear is that a scary picture I looked at in the past may appear when I open safari in the future. Jumpscare.
aside from that, this could also be a security violation, as a picture of your login information foryour bank may aappear at any time. This is especially dangerous if your iPhone is in the hands of another person.

If you are talking about the App Switcher, there's no way to disable the displayed screenshot. If you don't want to see the "scary image", browse to another website. I have Google set as one of my favorites...when I shut down Safari, I just hit the Google favorite so the next time I open Safari, it opens to Google. I've never heard of nor experienced random screenshots popping up when opening Safari.

Ive never used that but I think there is a find ipod app. But im not sure. The ipod might have had to have it on?

Try turning off & on your iPod (sorry if that sounds dumb, but it might work)
Or, since that's a matter of not refreshing, turn off your wifi& reconnect

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary.
