When launching Bridge, press and hold down Command-Option (Mac) or Control-Alt (Win) + Shift to choose “Reset Preferences”, Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache”, and/or Reset Standard Workspaces”.

uninstall everything cs6, clean (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and then reinstall.
if that fails, expalin what you see when trying to reinstall that indicates to you that there's been a problem. -

When I open my mail account I keep getting the message "Checking for Mail". I deleted the yahoo account and set it up again and I am still getting the same issue plus I am not seeing any of my mail or folders. Can anyone help?
This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password. instead of the yahoo account password.

First take the steps recommended in this support article. If there's no change, continue as follows.
Back up all data.

Your printer driver is having problems.
Resetting Photoshop's preferences sometimes clears it up (by removing previous print settings that the driver is supposed to read, but sometimes fails at).
Otherwise you'll have to work with Canon to figure out why the driver is misbehaving. -

The direct "copy and paste" from the post did not work: I had to retype it :
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchSe rvices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user
but then it worked like a charm!

And btw: I turned on the "-v" option for the lsregister to see, what was going on, and saw plenty of error messages (error -10811); so I repeated the command with "sudo". After that I still saw five iPhotos. Repeating as regular user finally got rid of the redundant iPhoto entries. It looks like registering as super user may be causing this trouble. -
Mo ipad 2 won't backup to icloud. I get a message "There was a problem completing the backup. Please try again later. I have tried multiple times over the last 24hrs but no luck. My iphone backs up fine on the same wireless network.

Installing Master Collection CS6 -- "EAccess Violation" error message
I bought a copy of Master Collection CS6 through my graduate school's online "bookshop."
I have been running into problems installing it for about 3 weeks.
I received a License Key for Adobe (but have yet to use it due to the inability to install my copy of CS6). I also received instructions on how to download the product (which I followed). I have a Window's computer and have downloaded both the .exe and .7z files onto my computer multiple times. No problem downloading. Free space on my computer is also not an issue. I have also tried to install the files in multiple folders on my computer (desktop, program folders, etc) with the downloaded files and the install-folder in the same place. I have tried to install the files as an Administrator (which I am anyway). But to no avail.
When I go to download the program, the first error message that comes up is...
Again, this is not an issue.
Then I get:

I spoke to an individual in the IT department at my school and she thinks it is an issue with Adobe/ the download provided via my school from Adobe, not my computer.
Suggestions?I will try doing the initial download to another location on my computer. Again, though, I've downloaded to a certain place on my computer (all downloads go directly to my Desktop), then moved the files to another folder (Program folders, Adobe sub-folder) in order to try to install it there to see if it works there instead.
I've already defragmented my drive and removed stray temp files. I did this between either download 1 and download 2, or download 2 and download 3 (again, I've downloaded these files multiple times and have gotten the same results). -

First I'd look in Finder on the "Go" menu up top as "Connect to Server" and see if Rick-Pc was listed in there and remove it from the list. -
