when I open firefox browser on my intel mac it opens two pages ( i.e. my bt yahoo logon page which is not listed in preferences and the page I designated in firefox preferences ) . I have tried the steps suggested for fixing this issue in your troubleshooting guide but it has made no difference . I have the follwing extensions installed :- adblock plus , no script , better privacy , taco 3.0 and wot .What should I do now ?

Have you tried resetting the device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if your Music app is behaving normally.

Bridge will do the job. View > Sort > ByType. Then you can choose a group of one type and put the files in a separate folder.

Macbook Pro OSX 10.8 and Epson WF 7525 will no longer print. It did until quite recently . Now I get Filter failed and RastertoescpII when i try to print ( test sheets ok) . Have tried to to uninstall and reinstall but nothing. Any advice, please.

Hi,
Your old pod can only sync with music that is physically in your itunes library and on your hard drive. Therefore there is simple way to resolve is to download your music to your hard drive.

My computer crashed and I was using Chrome, not have firefox and cannot figure out how to get my "Favorites" into firefox. I have located the file on my computer, but it's not on any ISP.

Once you have those bookmarks in firefox use the firefox Bookmarks menu to see and click on the required bookmark, that will take you to the location of that bookmark, which usually will be somewhere out on the Internet.

Hi smudden, did the software update on your computer include an update to your browser e.g. IE8 updated to IE9? If so you could try reverting back to the previous browser version to see if that is the issue.
However be aware that you don't have to be signed in to your ePrintCenter account to send emails to an ePrint printer

Been using Yahoo as my home page for years and years and all of a sudden it's a problem. I can open it easily on Safari browser even though I don't have an Apple computer. So the problem has to be with Firefox, not Yahoo. I've read all of your solutions, tried troubleshooting them, and it still doesn't work. I contacted Yahoo and they haven't responded, probably because the problem isn't on their end, but on Firefox.
Please fix or I will have to stop using Firefox as my primary browser.

I keep getting the 'Profile missing or inaccessible' error message. I've tried some of the advice given to others but none of it is working for me. I've tried opening the Profile Manager but I get the same error message when I try to do that.

Since yesterday when trying to use Firefox I've been getting error 'Profile missing or inaccessible'.
I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling it & from looking at advice to others with this problem I tried to access the Profile Manager but when I try to do that I again get the Profile missing error message.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

W7 64 bit F/Fox 3.6.13. Firefox page size reduces to about 50% without any input. Have to keep resizing by dragging edges. IE does not do this. Fix anyone?

Could this be because I have 15 saved tabs but not all open together? Does seem to be a Firefox issue and has started to occur only recently.

I think that it is something wrong with kernel and graphic drivers but i'm not able to solve it from the beginning of using of Arch by me.
I'm not so sure this issue is software-related only because in my case it seems the laptop screen enters power-saving mode (10-min timeout) on its own without any events logged (as shown by dmesg) so my next thought was OK, I'm going to get rid of this issue disabling the screen power-saving timeout in the BIOS and set it to never power down or something like that and from then on managing power mode manually; ie: when I want to power down I will just use systemctl suspend/hibernate which work fine ... problem is: there are no related options in my BIOS for such timeout.
The only timeouts I have are in /etc/systemd/logind.conf set to 30min (#IdleActionSec) (commented) by default so these are not in effect because the screens goes blank after 10m which is less than the (default) 30m in logind. Maybe setting loggind to 9m (un-commented) to catch the event before the machine-default one ?

They changed something recently and advised everyone to get up to date, which I did, but to no avail. I keep getting a "waiting" message. I have used the Safari "develop" menu to simulate Internet Explorer, but with no luck.
