When I open Gmail my calendar will not open. It tries to connect but cannot redirect properly. It works fine under Windows explorer.

When I'm logged into Gmail and I try to open up my Gmail Calendar I get a error in the window saying "The page isn't redirecting properly". It works fine under Windows Explorer. I have Windows 7 and the latest Firefox application, downloaded today.

If in settings, music, volume limit is off then restart your phone first. Hold the home and off button down until the apple symbol comes up.

I tried to verify my plug-in's and all are enabled. I found where was suggested to remove and reinstall Firefox but that did not fix problem either. I tried to change viewer for videos but still no luck. Not certain why Quicktime doesn't work. Note, videos when browsing will not open but everything else works fine. going to "transfer purchases' does work - however the thermometer bar at the bottom reflecting apps, music, video, book, etc cpapcity fraks out, sliding left to right maybe 4 or 5 times during the process. Have you ever seen this?
After it is finished, the SYNC button is not longer darkened - so I thought it was safe to attampt an upgrade to OS05... which i am doing now... takes maybe 20 mins and then I normally get the error "the applications on this ipad cannot be verified" and the bottom thermometer bar zeros out all by my music. The content and apps are all fine on teh ipad. so strange. I made an appointment with customer service tomrrow AM - but i do not think i should have to pay for this - i have never even used support before!
I will update if it works - or re[eats the strange pattern again and does not update.

Bookmarks that have both a keyword assigned to them and are set to open in the sidebar will not open in the sidebar when keyword is entered in the location bar. Why?

I am using version 3.6.10. Windows 7.
But I have had this problem for years.
Have the same result in a clean installation.
Have the same result in XP, also in a clean installation.
When creating a bookmark, you have the option to
1. add a KEYWORD, and
2.the option to check the box that says "load this bookmark in the sidebar."
If a bookmark has BOTH a keyword assigned to it AS WELL AS a checked box to "load this bookmark in the sidebar", then
1. it WILL NOT open in the sidebar when the keyword is entered in the locationbar.
2.It WILL open in the sidebar if you click on the bookmark directly from the bookmark menu, toolbar, or the like.
Is there any plan to fix this? Is there an extension to fix this? A patch to fix this?
It's kind of ridiculous that such a bug still exists.
more and more tech sites are advocating the time saving qualities of being able to load mobile and iphone sites in the sidebar - like gmail, google calendar, twitter, facebook chat, igoogle gadgets, widgets, meebo, and almost every other site either via it's mobile version or by converting an igoogle gadget or just using and iframe. it makes me nuts that I have to shove all my bookmarks that are sidebar-loading to be within view on the bookmark toolbar. help!

Use AOL, when signed in to mail, it will not open mail

We use AOL for e-mail. We can log on but when we click on an e-mail, it keeps saying "waiting on ##.###.### " some numbers but will not open the e-mail. This just recently started. I tried downloading the software again, but it still happens.

FF should open now hopefully.
From there, if your issue is the same, one by one go through add-ons you want installed, making sure to restart after each one to find the one causing issues. If FF doesn't open again, go through the steps for clean install again and don't reinstall that add-on. Once found the culprit(s) and got FF going again without reinstalling those, go about restoring your profile data to get bookmarks and so back. Best to do that last so only have to copy files over once.
That is all I know on this. Really wish I could get an answer to why it is happening as the add-on causing me issues I use constantly, prefer it over others, yet now I can't because want FF to work. Hope this helped.

Photos will not open in email, photos will not open in email

no settings changes, but ipad air will not open photos att. to email. mac emails open, ipad 2 opens same photos just fine.
This is an overnight change- what caused it?
Air also seems to crash far more often than ipad 2.
Any solution faster than restoring factory settings and reloading? Most important, how to prevent this irritation from recurring?

Seems to have something to do with size. The photos I was sending were all over 1mb. When I send a photo that is only a few hundred kilobytes it works fine.
Some setting prehaps with the iPhone?
Larger photos are fine with the iPad I tried.

Firefox opens only on taskbar-will not open on desktop

after uninstalling and reinstalling on windows 8,firefox still only opens on the taskbar where I can view it in thumbnail but when I click on the taskbar firefox icon it will not open up to full desktop view. I know it is open because I can hover over taskbar icon and thumbnail view appears.

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Hopefully you did a search before posting a new thread on this problem. A few people have been having issues with Word, and it's sometimes related to not having Office updated properly before upgrading. It may also be third-party configs making the Office setup screwy. I can attest that a fresh install of Office 2008 works fine under ML.

Hello all, my Macbook Pro will not connect to the Airport, It appears to start to then it just grinds and grinds and the page remains blank. All other devices in the house are connecting to the Airport without incident, including my ipad. The bars at top right indicate the airport is on and the correct one is checked appropriately. When I run diagnostics on it it tells me to restart the device. I have restarted the wireless and the mac but nothing ever changes, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should try??

However, not knowing what iMac model build version or OS X system version your have
makes choosing how to reply to a general and vague question such as this. Since a Mac
does not run an iOS (an iDevice, not a Mac product, would use iOS system) what OS X
does your computer use? And if the hardware utilizes a core 2 duo or other Intel based
processor, then you don't have the vintage old iMac version this discussion area is about.
The answers change, depending on the hardware, since the later OS X versions do not
run on old hardware. So there is a gap between what you have, and what you said...
Even so, the general settings for Ethernet, Wi-Fi and other connections for networking
are in the system preferences; you can also choose to change options in there.

Having photos that you took with the iPsd has nothing to do with this at all.
When you sync photos to the iPad, you can select one main photo folder only - as described above - using the sync photos from heading within the photos tab of iTunes. You can have one level of sub folders within that main folder as well that you can sync to the iPad.
All of the photos must remain selected to sync each time or the unselected photos will be erased from the device.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
Click on the "Sync Photos From" heading and navigate to the pictures folder on your computer that you want to sync.
Click on all of the sub folders within that main photos folder that you want to sync. You can select as many sub folders within that main folder that you want to put on the iPad as long as you use one level of folders only in the main photos folder.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
