wow, this was a huge deal to get photoshop to install properly.
now it asks me for a serial number (never successfully started). I've never been sent a serial number. Most of the links in this post are dead, there is no help or support that I can tell for any adobe product and I have to travel across town to another computer to use photoshop which I am paying for.
"Learn More" goes really extensively into redemption codes, which I never received (was I supposed to, who the heck knows?)
1. Was I supposed to receive a serial number or redemption code?
2. Where was it supposed to come to?
3. Is there a place to get real help?
The forums are full of dead links, dead references and pissed off people as far as I can tell. All of whom have a different problem than me (sudden deactivation, not the program never worked). The program and the cc app don't provide any step by steps as to what are the normal steps to get things to work. I see people in this thread still begging for help a year later.
Since Monday morning, trying to install photoshop in my new office has cost me about 6 hours, it seems to be a paid program with absolutely no help or support.
How much more time do I waste trying to use this product? Is this what happens when a company buys all their competitors?Branching this to a separate discussion.
Idontextistyt were you previously able to utilize your Creative Cloud Membership or have you always been prompted to enter a serial number? Also which operating system are you using? Finally are you on a managed network? -
About a month back I decided to uninstall some applications to make room on the PC (Windows 7 64 bit). Mow when I open the Creative Cloud panel I just get a blank box with no app and no headings. I uninstalled the extra applications with windows 7. How cam I get my creative cloud back?

I have instaled creative clouds, but when i open, my creative cloud shows empty window. I have reinstaled, and does not help.
follow solution 2 here, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

What do i do know am i allowed a new redemption code I used a PCWhat product did you purchase and where did you purchase it from? I am not sure that Creative Cloud is involved with redemption codes, so you might have some other version. A redemption code is normally used to acquire a serial number, and the serial number is what activates the application(s) to full use. But serial numbers are involved with licensed software, not Cloud subscriptions.

Newly installed Acrobat will NOT open from Creative Cloud app on Desktop using Windows 7 Pro - what's the problem?
the cc desktop app is used to install and update cc programs (and a few other thinigs). but that does not include 'opening' the installed programs.
click your start button or your program files directory to find the acrobat executable to launch acrobat (and any of your other apps, adobe or otherwise). -

Now I want to return to the applications, opened the ADM and they appear as "install" again...

Creative cloud application does not start on mac 10.9.3

I am trying to install the creative cloud application on my mac. Installation goes fine but afterwards CC refuses to start correctly and just sits there and I see the blue spinning wheel and that is mainly it. I can let it sit there for hours but the state will not change. I tried re-installing, re-starting multiple times. I tried to install it on my main macbook pro and my mac mini but the results are the same.
I found somewhere in the forum a link saying to delete the opm.db file from ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/ folder but that also did not yield any change in behavior.
I am a bit running out of ideas. Any suggestion how I can resolve this issue?

SimonStrange indeed suddenly it works. However the CC version remains unchanged. Looks like some server was maybe not available yesterday so it could not connect or log on. This does not shed a good light on the reliability. Let's see if it happens again during my trial period.

I have downloaded creative cloud but when I open up the apps its a blank page and it has the spinning loading symbol but I've left that up for hours and it stays like that. It doesn't show the applications at all, even when I download them from adobe.com. What is it?

I'm all up to date and I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling all my Adobe software. I'm on a Mac using the latest version of OSX. The issue has been happening since I switched to a different Adobe ID about a week ago.
ThanksThanks for your reply. I've tried removing 'OPM.db' a few times now, restarting etc but I still have the same problem. The Application Manager still appears every time I open a CC app.
It appears twice when I open a CC application - the first time it asks me to sign in. Upon signing in, I get a 'Thank you' message. Then after the application has loaded it appears again telling me 'Don't let a good thing come to an end' and gives me the option to either 'License the software' or 'Start Trial'. I choose 'License the software' and I have to sign in again. I then get another 'Thank you' message!
