When I open my firefox browser my Jeeves is missing and am having trouble getting onto websites

Can't see Jeeves on the opening browser page and I am having trouble getting onto websites any ideas.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Updated to Firefox 21 and when I open the firefox browser it ask me to update to the latest version

I finally updated to Firefox 21 and today when I opened the Firefox browser, my google homepage looks odd and a large message from Firefox appears saying I need to update to the latest version of Firefox. I double checked the version and I have version 21.
I also don't know if this has anything to do with my current problem. A pop up window is suddenly appearing just after I turn on my PC, at first I thought it was triggered by Firefox. It's a security warning saying the certificate from GEOtrust SSL CA isn't a trusted certification authority for javadl-esd-secure.oracle certificate. I just find it odd that this message just started a few days ago and now after updating Firefox to the latest version, it's still telling me to update. Thanks

How can I create two different home pages or set up two different tabs when I open my firefox browser?

When I open new window browser has inverted color scheme and no window title.

When I open 1st window in FF top of the page looks usual - like this http://imagestun.com/hosting/kartinki/ff1.jpg
But when I try to open something in a new window, this new window has strange color scheme at the top and no title, like this

If I switch from window mode to full screen mode and vice versa everything gets to look normal.
I've used Classic Theme Reestorer addon, but the same problem occurs when this addon is uninstalled. Restaring computer, reinstalling firefox etc didn't help, I still get these annoying white letters in the main menu when I try to open 2 or more firefox windows.
Is there any way to fix it?

Thanks, I followed your advice and disabled everyting then started turning addons one by one. The problem was caused by Hola Unblocker, now everything is ok.

Previous versions of Firefox were only 32 bit, Firefox 4 for the Mac contains 32 and 64 bit versions. My notebook is set to update Firefox automatically which it did last night. Since the update, when i open the Firefox browser, it opens up several tabs after the home page. I am also unable to copy of the page, when i do try it opens up the very same page in another tab. Also i am experiencing problems with my Microsoft office programs, since the Firefox update was done. I am unable to open documents within the programs, when i do click to open a new document or try to open an old document, it automatically closes the program. My operating system is Windows 7 home Basic, 32-bit operating system.

If you don't usually get a choice of where to save a downloaded file, you can change that using:
Edit > Preferences > General > "Always ask me where to save files"
Then you may want to go directly to the source:

You should get the options to Save File or Cancel (not Open). Hopefully after saving you will be able to find the downloaded file in the location you specified.

Once open, Firefox locks the Profile that is in use and you can not open another window with that Firefox version and Profile combination using the Windows Desktop icon or the Windows Programs list.

When I have my Firefox browser running, if I bring up a document from my computer, it appears briefly, then disappears behind the browser. It shows in the taskbar, but won't stay on top until I minimize all other windows.

According to your description ,we seem to suffer a performance issue here.
Have you tried to open the task manager to check the system performance ? Is there any specific process occupied many system resources ?Will the issue occur only with the specific applications ?
We can try to restart the Windows Explorer process to have a check.
If it only occurred with the spefcific two applications ,we can try to end the other application processes manually from the task manager to have a check .
If this is caused by the specific application ,we may need to look for help from the third party support considering they are all the third party applications .

Downloaded Firefox yesterday. Every time I open the Firefox browser, it starts in Safe Mode even though I have shut down and restarted my computer several times

I have Windows OS. I downloaded Firefox yesterday. Every time I open the Firefox browser, it starts in safe mode. I have restarted my machine several times -- Firefox still starts in Safe Mode. My favorites from IE copied to Firefox fine, and Firefox is now my default browser...it just keeps opening in Safe Mode.

I downloaded the toolbar. When I was done using the computer, I put it to "sleep." The next time I "woke" the computer and went to Firefox, the toolbar was gone. When I downloaded the toolbar again, I got a box in the upper left hand corner of the screen stating Firefox BLOCKED the toolbar, and did I want to allow it. There was NO option to allow always-it's just a one time deal. When I shut down for the day, I expected it to remain, but no-next time I fired up firefox, NO TOOLBAR. I pulled up Inbox dollars again, clicked on download toolbar, got the box stating it's blocking the toolbar, etc, etc, etc. Unless Firefox upgrades daily, or in some cases, several times in one day, I'm going to stick with my description that the toolbar magically disappears EVERY TIME I OPEN
FIREFOX!!!
I don't profess to be any type of computer whiz, I'm totally self-taught, and it's not beyond the realm of possibility that I'm doing something wrong. I've been using Firefox for about a week, so I'd welcome any help!
