How can I start firefox with new tab instead of blank page?
Today I update firefox to 13.0. I like the new "new type". I want to konw how can I start firefox with new tab instead of blank page?
I don't want to change the homepage to about:newtab.
Sorry for my bad English.This is a very annoying thing. Every update from Firefox resets this config setting back to about:newtab. I changed '''''browser.newtab.url''''' in 12.x to '''''about:blank''''' and it resetted back in update 13.0 and now I have to do the same thing again in 13.0.1.
The drawback with about:newtab is Firefox opens up dataports for every URL that are linked and gets reopened for every lame 'newtab' you click on. Just use [http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897437.aspx Tcpview - data port viewer] and watch how many extra dataports that opens up from this crazy 'feature'. -
Firefox 13's new tab page appears blank, just like in older versions. Why?
After my beta install upgraded from 12 to 13 yesterday, the new tab page was working as advertised. When I started my computer today, however, the new tab page appeared blank, just as it did in older versions of Firefox. What happened? Any idea how to fix it?
The thumbnails on the about:newtab page are generated from the cache, so if the page is not in the cache or otherwise can't be rendered as a PNG image then you will get an empty box.<br />
Do not use Clear Recent History to clear data when you close Firefox.<br />
If there is no history then you get an about:newtab page with empty boxes.

I recently upgraded to 10.6.7 and Safari 5.05. Safari now has a long load time when you initially boot it up and when selecting a new tab. Other than that it works fine. What can I do ?
Check Safari / Preferences - Extensions. If you have any installed, turn that off, relaunch Safari.
If it's not Extensions, check for third party Safari add ons.

I click a link but it doesn’t open. Instead I get a popup saying “Open the link in a new window,” “Open link in a new tab,” etc. How can I kill this popup or whatever it is forever?
That happens if the server sends the file as text/plain.
You can see this if you open "Tools > Page Info > General": Content-Type: text/plain

This seems to have been asked a lot around the net, however, there doesn't seem to be an adequate answer to it.
I am running:
Operating system is Windows 7Motherboard is Q67H2-AM v1.1
Bios is ACER ver. 2.10.1207
GPU is GTX 770
PSU is 700w
The Graphics card is plugged in to the 16x slot, the fans spin, but no display and no device is recognized in device manager.
I have tried a few solutions including uninstalling my onboard graphics driver from the device manager and going to upgrade my 600w power supply to a 700w one.
I think the issue is that I need to change the BIOS to PEG or PCI Express. However, in the Bios the settings for both "Primary Video" and "Onboard Graphics" are grayed out, meaning that I can't change them. -

Just call apple and explain the situation. Just ask the automated voice person to speak with a real person and it will actually transfer you. Apple will fix it. And I personally believe apple has the best customer support in the world. ***UPDATE Disregard that. Just delete the account from your phone and sign back in with your current one. and it should be fine. if that does not work try what i first suggested.

When I open a new tab using CTRL-T, the address/awesome bar has the focus.
When I open a new window using CTRL-N, it does not.
