When downloading from a Sony minidisc video camera, the picture is downloading but without sound. Previously, it had downloaded successfully both sound and picture. I have subsequently upgraded to Lion X (10.7.4). Is there some problem with the upgrade which is affecting the transfer? Is there a way of resolving this?
When you have kernel panics, the pertinent information is in the panic report.
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. A panic report has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends in ".panic". Select the most recent one. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway. -
When downloading from apple and iTunes stores error1009 shows up and no download happens
iTunes Store: Error (-50) when downloading purchased videos
Last Modified on: April 24, 2007
Article: 303887
Symptom
The following alerts may appear when trying to download purchased videos from the iTunes Store:
"There was an error downloading your purchased music. An unknown error occurred (-50)."
This can happen when the connection timeout occurs while downloading purchased video content from the iTunes Store.
Products affected
iTunes Store
iTunes for Windows
iTunes for Mac OS X
Purchased video content
Solution
Deleting the cached video files of the download, and starting the download again from the beginning, often will resolve this issue.
To find the cached video downloads:
Navigate to the downloads folder on your system. This folder can be found in the following locations:
Mac:
~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Downloads
Note: The tilde (~) refers to your Home directory.
Windows Vista:
\Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\Downloads\
Windows XP and 2000:
\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\Downloads\
Locate the folder that contains the cached video file for this purchase.
In Windows Vista, the folder will be named for the purchased video, and the name will end with .tmp.
Example: The Dundies.tmp
In Windows XP and Windows 2000, the folder will be named for the purchased video, and the name will end with .m4v.tmp.
Example: The Dundies.m4v.tmp
Move the .tmp folder for the affected purchased video to the Trash or Recycle Bin.
Open iTunes.
From the Store menu, choose Check for Purchases.
Enter your account name and password and click the Check button. -

I have 250 windows 8.1 tablets.

I need to download more than 25 free apps from the store

Thank You.Hi,
As far as I know, One Microsoft Account may bound at most five Trusted computers. There is no way to break this limitation.

Elements 11 bypassess raw converter when downloading from D610
Elements 11 bypassess raw converter when downloading from D610
The D610 is too recent to be supported by PSE11. It needs ACR version 8.3.
Three choices:
- upgrade to PSE12 and upgrade to 8.3 from the Help / upgrade menu
- use the free Adobe DNGconverter to batch convert your nefs into the Adobe raw DNG format which PSE11 can read
- use the Nikon supplied converter to produce tiffs for Elements editor.

How can I open apple picture files that I downloaded from my IPhone 4 to my windows 8.1 laptop?
ronylouis wrote:
i deleted notes fom my old iphone and surprised to see that they have been deleted from my new phone ..how can i get them back ...i dont have any backup??
Why would you be surprised? You were syncing your Notes with iCloud or a Mail Account. Synchronization means when you make a change on one device, it affects all other devices that are synched for the same purpose. Like when you delete an email (usually) it also disappears from your other devices as well. -
Why are calculation functions lost from Reader Extended PDF when downloaded from website?
I am creating PDF forms with most fields performing calculations. I am saving the forms out as Reader Extended PDF> Enable Additional Features. When I email the form there is no problem with the person using the form, all calculations work. The person is able to save the form and all info is present.
However, when the same file is posted on a website with a clickable link to download, once downloaded, all the calculation functions are missing from the fields. Additionally, when the user fills the form out anyway, the info in the fields is invisible.
I am on a MAC OS 10 using Acrobat X Pro. The majority of the people going to the website and using the forms are on Windows. What am I doing wrong? It sounds like you're actually using the Preview application when viewing the form on your Mac. It does not support JavaScript, which is how the automatic calculations are implemented. It also corrupts forms when it saves them. A result of this corruption is when the form is subsequently opened in Acrobat/Reader, the fields are blank unless a field has the focus. I download a TV Show from itunes and usually as soon as it begins, it tells me that my TV Show is ready to watch and I can choose to "Play TV Show Now" or "Watch Later." I choose Play TV Show Now. Then after about 20 seconds of watching, and error message comes up with the error code -39. The download stopped and when I resume, it will download for 5 more seconds but then I get another error message with the code -50. I click the Resume button and it won't resume no matter how many times I click it. So I have to go to Music, iTunes, iTunes Media, Downloads, and delete the folder with the name of the TV Show that wouldn't work. Then i open iTunes again and Check for Downloads and it starts over downloading.
The errors only occur when I start playing the TV Show while its downloading. Its fine if I let it download.
How do I fix the errors? That's not the issue (waiting for the download to complete). The issue is that the download never ever completes. The Computer says "Hey, you can watch your show," but then just a few moments have downloaded, and you get a "-50" error.
The published solution for the -50 error is to navigate to the wack place that itunes has decided to store your download (if you can find it) and delete the partial file and try again.
I have "tried again" 5 times now. It's not working. -
I am unable to download from Itunes as receiving message - unable to contact Itunes store Error code -1202. Have had lengthy conversation with Itunes support but unable to resolve. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes twice following exactly instructions provided. Anyu suggestions to resolve?
Maybe this will help. If you are running 10.9 you can access your use library by going to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder.

Error (-50) when downloading from ATV and Trailers don't work - Invalid Fmt
My Apple TV syncs with an HP running Vista over an 802.11g network. I have a Watchguard Edge firewall. I can download updates and view YouTube without a problem. I have no problem downloading or renting movies on my PC.
The Apple TV will not download rentals. It fails in a very short time with Error (-50). It will not show any trailers displaying an invalid format error. Any idea what the problem may be?iTunes Store: Error (-50) when downloading purchased videos

Unreadable file error when downloading from Iphone
I recently updated my Macbook Pro to Mountain Lion OS and iPhoto 11. Now when I try to import any video or pics I get the "unreadable file" error. I think it may have to with my system preferences or something because when I try to back up my phone on iTunes it says not enough disk space when my hard drive says there is 200gb free. Anybody have any idea where I should start? Go easy on my this is my first post.
Actually if the files download on her husbands computer then the problem is unlikely to do with either the files or Blackboard
Blackboard inc would be the wrong contact as they are simply the company that sell the software - the people to contact would be the support people at the institution hosting the blackboard installation who look after all the configuration of the servers - however if they download fine for some users for some then it is unlikely to be a blackboard issue.
The most likely cuprit is the internet connection which is probably timing out before the download finishes - the other possiblity is that something running on your computer i momentarily breaking the connection with a loss of data.
Normally if you have the adobe browser plugin for IE the file will actually open in the reader in the browser but this doesnt always work in other browsers. -
Error message when downloading from Google Play Store
After recently doing the toshiba system update for my AT300-32gb tablet I now get the following error message when downloading free apps from Google Play Store -Error processing purchase {DF-BPA-13].
Automatic update for downloaded apps no longer works either. Anyone have a solution to this?Go into your settings and touch "apps" on the left. Then touch "Google Play services" and tap "Clear data" and "Clear cache." Then touch "Apps" again on the left. Now do the same for the "Google Play Store" entry. Then hold down the power button until it asks if you want to turn it off. Go ahead and turn off the tablet. Then turn it back on and try again.
