When I place Ps and Ai files into Id it gets pixelated. How do I fix this?

I'm making some brochures for a church and I created the text and designs in Ai. When I go to place the Ai file in Id the text and images appear all pixelated! I have tried to do the same thing with Ps files and the text gets pixelated their too. Am I doing something wrong? I have heard that saving the files as a PDF and then using that PDF should help the problem but that has not worked for me either.
I'm using Adobe CC for all the programs and I'm running Windows 7.

Sorry for the incredibly late response. We hit the busy season and just have not had to cope with the print results.
Equipment:
Canon C5030 Buisness printer.
Win 7 64 bit
Adobe CC (all programs are updated to newest CC versions)
In InDesign Display Performance is set to High Quality Display
If I am working on and 11in X 17in Indesign document and I bring in some custom logos from Photoshop (the Ps file is 11in X 17in 300ppi)
no scaling or anything size changes are done it is a simple drag and drop onto the document..
The Ps file looks rough around the edges and when printed it is "fuzzy" around the edges of the Ps Image. all text created in Indesign looks crisp and perfect.

Go into your Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and see if there's a file titled Domain.sites. If there is double click on it and see if iWeb opens.
If there is no Domain file there do the following:
delete the iWeb preference files, com.apple.iWeb.plist and com.apple.iWeb.plist.lockfile, that resides in your Home() /Library/Preferences folder.
go to your Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete its contents.

Thank you Russ! Seems as though the timestamp on my audio files was completely incorrect so it placed the files far away from the corresponding video. I've modified the timestamp information and this has helped. The hour/minute information is incorrect but at least now I'm in the ballpark. Thank you!

I had a similar problem, and i found that the photo was of very low resoluton. As a test I resized the image to a lrager resolution using photoshop CS4 and re saved it as JPG. I imported the new saved image and it seem to have fixed the problem.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 9 running on? I will assume Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit for now.
As for the Help Menu/Update way for updating, are you doing that with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled? If not, please do so.
Do you have the 9.0.1 Update of the program installed? What version of Camera Raw do you have installed?
Premiere Elements 9 is an older program where you can still do manual installs for that one and only Update. And, Camera Raw for 9 is no longer being updated.

I have the same problem with lectures slides.
Furthermore, sometimes the text box, when doube-clicking, turns the text into a one-liner. Causing the text box to sometimes get 3. times wider than the pdf itself.

By pressing [cmd + I] the Inspector opens up and clicking on the rightmost tab 'Annotations' you should be able find those Annotations again. I do this regularly to find the empty annotations I accidentally create while clicking through slides.

Did you change the ID in Settings>iTunes & App Store (on the iPad) also?
Note that any items purchased with your old ID are permanently tied to it and cannot be transferred to the new one.

Let's first try the following document, only be sure that none of the boxes in the compatibility mode tab are checked (not just the compatibility mode box itself):

try to exit out of the youtube app with the multitasking feature. if this doesnt work then try to do a manual restart by holding down the home and power/sleep button all the way past the "slide to unlock" screen until the ipod will power off and the apple symbol will appear when the ipod tuens back on
