Then install iStat Menus 4.04 so you can provide us with some temperature and fan speed data.
What about before you start the game? After you start the game do this:
Open Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder. Select All Processes from the Processes dropdown menu. Click twice on the CPU% column header to display in descending order. If you find a process using a large amount of CPU time (>=70,) then select the process and click on the Quit icon in the toolbar. Click on the Force Quit button to kill the process. See if that helps. Be sure to note the name of the runaway process so you can track down the cause of the problem.
If it's the game causing the problem then either something is wrong with the game or it's not compatible with Lion.

Ok, a little clarification then, you can hear music fine with the speaker and headphone? You can hear a game's music fine with the headphone but not with the speaker? Do you get the notification sounds ok with the speaker?
If the speaker sound is acceptable with everything except the game then there is a problem with that game and its settings.
If that is the case, you might want to try deleting the game and then downloading and reinstalling the game to see if that helps the problem.

Hi Andis.
First of all, this is completely normal behavior, although it's a bit irritating, I know. What happens is that when you close Firefox, despite the window disappearing right there and then, Firefox keeps running for a little bit until the whole closing procedure is completed. This can take a fraction of a second on fast computers, or can take a few seconds on slow computers or when Firefox is storing a large session (if you save your tabs). All you have to do is wait a bit until Firefox closes, and then open it again.
To see if it's still running, you can press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC and then, under the Processes tab, you can see if firefox.exe is still there. If it's taking an unusual amount of time to close (which happens very rarely, and only if the browser freezes on exit), you can force the application to terminate from this application (task manager).
Firefox 4.0 will reduce by 97% the time it takes firefox.exe to close, so this problem will be basically erased for Firefox's next version.
Until then, I can recommend you this extension, which helps you restart your browser more easily and without bothering about closing times:

HELLO! I have an Ipod Touch thats 32 gb, and its the really old one without the camera. ( im sorry i dont know which generation it is, but i bought it in 2010. ) Anyways, I've had this Ipod for almost 3 years now, and it still works pretty good. The thing im really worried about is that recently, my Ipod has started to overheat, meaning when i touch it, its almost burning. This happens when I charge it, or when I play games on it while charging the Ipod. When i remove the charger, it stops burning/overheating and goes back to normal. Why does this keep happening? J.K. ROFLing is correct. It is normal for the iPod to get quire warm when charging and during heavy use.. If concerned make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
