When I plug headphones into my iPhone, I only heard sound on one side. This is a recent phenom. Is this fixable?
It seems like an electronic problem, since for a while I could jiggle the plug and still get stereo sound. Is this easily fixable for an iPhone3?
You will need to get the headphone jack replaced.

I have a ipod touch 4th gen and it wont chrage. When you plug it into the wall the lightniing bolt screen will apear but no matter how long you leave it, it will never turn on. Also it the lightning bolt screen wont even come on when you plug it into a computer (PC)..........PLease help its been like this for forever

Will not power on, or will not turn on unless connected to power
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Connect the iPod touch to an Apple USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 15 minutes, if the display turns on and…
The home screen appears, the device should be working. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen: . Then disconnect the device from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears even after the iPod touch has charged for at least 20 minutes: See the "iPod touch displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or low-battery image appears , continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPod touch did not turn on, reset it while connected to an Apple USB power adapter. If the display turns on, go to step 4.If the display remains black, go to the next step.
Restore the device. Connect it to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes it and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPod touch. If the device doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring it, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPod touch resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring it did not solve the issue, seek service.

I am running Windows & on an HP. not sure of the model number. But the sound system is IDT. It worked fine up until about a year ago. And now whenever you plug headphones in, the speakers do not turn off, but yet the headphones still work. any solutions?
When in DFU mode and connected to the computer iTunes does not say anything but iTunes will see the iPod and you can restore the iPod via iTunes. When in recovery mode and you connect, iTunes will say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

so recently i wanted to load my friends music onto my phone because my laptop broke and i had no other way to get my music. i loged out of my itunes so the music could load without any problems. i tryed to so an update on the softwear today and my phone says i need to conncect to itunes, but when i try the only option is to restore it! that would mean all my things on my phone GONE. please help i cant live without a phone for long but i dont want to have to restore it. pleaseee please tell me somone can help.
The problem is your friend's music does not belong to you. It is owned by your friend.
I'm afraid you cannot do what you are trying to do. Restoring the iPhone is what you would have to do.
In the future, put your music on the computer and transfer it to the iPhone, not the other way. -
I've just got my mams old iPhone 4 but it won't connect to my iTunes or anything? The USB cable works and so do the ports, I've tried reinstalling iTunes but that didn't work! An anyone help me?

my 160gb ipod just deleted its whole contents and keeps error-ing when i try to upload more songs to it! is there some way i can get them back, i dont have 2/3 of them stored as backup! hellpppppp!?!

When I first got my iphone i plugged it into my friends computer and added songs from their itunes. Now when i plug it into my computer it will not connect or show up in the sidebar in itunes. my iphone 4 is not responding the screen is just showing a usb lead and the itunes symbol. when i plug it into my desktop mac and try to sync it to itunes ,itunes is telling me the phone is in a restore mode. My iPhone 4 will not turn on, when I plug it into my computer and load up iTunes its in recovery mode and the only option is to restore my device to factory settings, I have no back up of my phone I've also tried the home/sleep button thing but nothing, I have literally done every method I was told, I checked for water damage and that's fine. I don't want to restore my phone or buy a new one or pay for repairs because that's wasting money when it could be a simple way to fix it. And yes, I've also tried charging it and turning it in. That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

when i upgraded my iphone to the new update My iphone 5 screen went completely black and has been like it for 2 days. I have tried holding home and lock,I have tried holding lock and the volume, and I have tried holding just the volume, it still just stays black.
When i plugged it into my Mac the apple logo comes up on the iphone screen. and then on the computer it says itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. you must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes. (as in the below pictures)
when i click ok to restore it just says waiting for iphone (as in the other photo below). i left it in for 20minutes and still said the same thing.
