make sure the plug is plug in correctly at both ends. if that doesnt work try holding the home screen and lock button down for ten seconds until it turns off. then turn it on and plug it in.

I recently bought a song off of iTunes. It shows up on my iPod Touch, but when I plug my iPod into my computer it doesn't show up with the rest of my songs. I tried deleting the song directly from my iPod by swiping the screen (which I normally do) but the delete button doesn't show up. When I try deleting other songs directly from my iPod by swiping the screen, the delete button comes up. Why is this happening? How can I get my song to show up on my computer? How can I delete the song?

When I plug in my ipod touch 4th gen to my computer the computer frezzes. This is a new one. I have 2 others and an iphone all of which plug into itunes and the computer without a problem. Any ideas how to remedy the problem?
- Did it sync/connect to the computer before with no problem?
- Are yo using the same cable that works with the other devices?

I use an iPod nano 5th generation. I have had it for about two years now and after about one year, I plugged in my iPod into my computer to sync more music. Here is the problem: The tab where you go to sync music to your iPod and shows the list of artists and songs you want to sync to the iPod, the tab I can get to but the list of songs and artists does not show up and the only way I can sync music to my iPod is to basically wipe my iPod and start from scratch. Obviously, I do not want to do that because I do not have all the songs in my library that I have on my iPod. I have uninstalled iTunes and then re-installed it, but it did not work and I do not know what else to do. I would really appreciate helpful guidance to get it fixed if it can be fixed. Sounds like you need to authorize your computer. Open iTunes < Store on the menu bar < Authorize this computer.

i can know longer see my IPOD connected to my computer. My IPOD is functioning fine... even can play on my docking system. Trying to add more songs.
try a different usb port, or try the wall charger, change ipod usb wire, turn ipod on to see if the low battery screen pops up by holding onto the switch above the ipod. try that stuff

I've already tried putting it into Disk Mode but nothing happens. Tried restarting computer and a new USB cord but still not working!

I don't have another PC to check, I only have one which is the one not working with my iPod.
It appears under my Computer, just not under iTunes. Plus, the iPod classic troubleshooting assistant doesn't work because I can't restore since it can't come up onto my iTunes! Even my iPod says "Use iTunes to Restore" once in a while, but I plug it in & I'm not able to restore it since it won't come up under iTunes.

My PC restarts when I plug in my iPod Nano.
Hi. Can anyone please help? Sometimes when I plug in my iPod Nano my computer re-boots. It doesn't always do a clean re-boot and I have to unplug the Nano and re-set the computer a couple of times. I have seen similar problems on this forum, and no, I am not using Aluria Spyware Eliminator. I use Norton Anti-virus.
Help!Brian, another way of looking at this is: how many devices do you have connected to the USB port (the same one)? I've found through using external storage devices that one port can handle two devices. I had four going at once one time, but the same thing happened, only two would evenually connect.
There's a limit to connections per USB port, I'm just trying to see if you have too many connectins on one port. If so, obviously, if you have other USB ports available, plug the nano into it's own port and see if that "cures" the missing nano. -
When I plug in my Ipod Touch to my computer I can not access my Itunes library. The following message appears "The program cant start because MSVCR80.dll is missing." Also, another message appears as well - "Error 7 Windows error 126" as well as APSDaemon.exe.
I have NO IDEA what the heck to do.
