When i plug in my ipod touch to charge it starts with the battery with the little bolt under it then it goes to the apple logo screen and after a while it flashes white and just shuts off and restarts the process. Whats wrong and how do i fix it?

my ipod touch would not go past the apple logo, it would just shut off. i held the power and home keys and connected to itunes but now its on the connect to itunes picture and shuts off on its own. even if i try and shut it off myself it won't. it only stays on for about 3-5 minutes:( please help!!!
When it shows the Connect to iTunes screen and you connect it to iTunes, have you tried restoring it?
This should solve your problem because the most common cause of your issue is a software glitch that is preventing your iPod from completing it's boot sequence. Restoring it will replace the software on the iPod with a fresh set so it can be used again. -

When I plug in my ipod touch 4th gen to my computer the computer frezzes. This is a new one. I have 2 others and an iphone all of which plug into itunes and the computer without a problem. Any ideas how to remedy the problem?
- Did it sync/connect to the computer before with no problem?
- Are yo using the same cable that works with the other devices?
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

ITunes locks when I plug in my iPod Touch
I recently transferred my iTunes library and devices from my old notebook to my new PC. It worked fine. About 3 weeks later, I found that when I plug in my iPod Touch 3rd gen that iTunes would hang up if it was open. If I don't open iTunes, I can plug in the Touch and then start iTunes and it doesn't lock up and I can sync. The same seems to happen with my iPad.
I'm at a loss as to how to go about fixing this, or even how to debug it. I'm running iTunes 10.2.1.1 and both devices have IOS 4.2.1. It might have started happening after I upgraded to 10.2.1.1. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit on a quad-core machine with 8Gb of RAM.
Any suggestions? Should I start by uninstalling iTunes and re-installing?
Thanks, Gary BergThat had a link, a couple times removed, to how to reinstall iTunes. I followed that, and it is better, but not perfect. It appears to be linked to whether or not I've checked for new podcasts since I started iTunes.
So it's not a complete fix, but helped. Frankly, I wonder if it's a bug in this version of iTunes. -
When I plug in my Ipod Touch to my computer I can not access my Itunes library. The following message appears "The program cant start because MSVCR80.dll is missing." Also, another message appears as well - "Error 7 Windows error 126" as well as APSDaemon.exe.
I have NO IDEA what the heck to do.

Itunes freezes when I plug in my Ipod Touch - what should I do?
I know that this has been asked numerous times, but I haven't found a solution yet. The basics:
It was working fine yesterday, but when i plug in my ipod, itunes won't recognize it and it will freeze until I remove the ipod.
My 3rd gen ipod touch, when I try to access my music and videos (my photos are still there), just goes to a white screen.
After going to settings and about in my ipod, next to music and videos, it just says loading and won't do anything else.
I've reinstalled itunes and it has the latest update.
I've restarted my ipod many times.

Why does the wireless connection on my desktop disconnect when I plug in my Ipod Touch?
Basically I just recently had my uncle build me a desktop computer and so far everything has been great but I noticed that everytime I plug in my iPod touch into it to charge it switches off my wirless adapter somehow making it impossible for my ipod to update or for me to use the internet. Then when I disconnect the iPod I can't firgue out how to switch the wireless adapter back one. Most of the time I have to use the windows troubleshoot to fix it. And sometimes it says that the wireless adapter had been reset or something?
I have the same issue. I believe this is an issue that has only developed since the last ITunes update since I have had no problem prior to this. I have isolated the problem to be a conflict between ITunes and the AE1000 driver. I have found no solution yet. If you do find a solution please notify me. Thanks. My itunes is updated i believe since i check for downloads and there wasn't any. Now whenever i plug in my ipod touch a error pops up telling my to go to itunes.com and update to 10.6.3 or later. i even tried to download it from itunes then it said i needed 64 bit windows but i already do. help? iOS 6
