When i plug my iphone up to my computer it dose not reconize it
everytime i plug my iphone up to my computer it does not recongize it or it ,not will itunes show up woth my iphone . i have mac os software
Your profile says you are running a PowerBook with OS X 10.1.
If that is true, your Mac and operating system are probably too old to recognize the iPhone.

Lately when I plug my phone into my computer with my usb cord it will not show up on my iTunes. I want to sync my phone again but can't when it is not connected. How can I get my iTunes to recognize my phone?
You do not say what computer OS you are using, so here is the information for both.

when I plug my iPhone in to my computer, iTunes doesn't recognize it as a device. I have deleted and re-downloaded iTunes twice which seems to fix the problem temporarily but then the next time I plug my phone in, the device is not recognized.
What happens if you go to iTunes > File > Devices, do you get the option to Sync iPhone?
You could try a reinstall of iTunes. OS X Yosemite: Reinstall apps that came with your Mac -

Hello People!
I'm getting an error message when I plug my iPhone 4 into my computer. It says, "This iPhone cannot be used because the Apple Moblie Device Service has not been started." What does this mean? I've never had this error before. It's also giving the same message with my iPod touch. Please help!
Thanks,
DanaGalYou can easily check whether you've the Apple Mobile Device in your computer.
Right click 'My Computer' , then Manage => Services and Applications => Services. Apple Mobile Device is listed in alphabetical order. If none, it means you've not download iTunes into your computer yet. If yes, please ensure the Apple Mobile Device is in 'Started' status.
Good luck -
Alright, I've had this problem for a while now, and I'm at my wit's end. Hope someone can help me.
First of all, I'm running Windows 8.0 on a Lenovo, using iTunes 11.1.5, and an iPhone on iOS 7.0.6.
Problem is, when I plug my iPhone 5 into my computer, the computer recognizes the iPhone, but for some reason, iTunes doesn't realize it's there. On top of that, every time I plug in, my phone gives me the same "Trust this computer?" prompt, like it doesnt recognize the computer I told it to trust 5 seconds ago. A couple times, I got lucky and iTunes dignified me with a "An iPhone has been detected, but could not be identified properly." prompt. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile device driver, updating everything, uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, resetting my iphone settings, but nothing works. Any ideas?iOS: Device not recognised in iTunes

When I use the same cable with the wall adapter it charges just fine.
LOL My situation is the opposite. plug my iPhone 3GS with USB cable and attach to mini adaptor (or whatever the small one is called) and it does not charge. Connect the same iPhone 3GS to my MacBook, using same cable, an charging takes place for iPhone. Then, connected the iPhone to the AC power with the large Apple AC adaptor and it always charges. Seems to be the small adaptor and sometimes a third party automobile adapter.
At first I thought this might be because I was using third party USB cable, but now wonder about that since there are so many problems that others are having.
Having scoured the discussions, it appears no definitive answer has been given. Am I wrong. Maybe I never found the answer to what is happening here.
if you can help, please reply to help all of us with the issue still - June 2011.

In need of help figuring this phone stuff out! I am trying to get all the apps from my husbands old phone to his new one. I have already backed up the old phone and got everything onto iTunes, but every time I plug the new iPhone 5s into my computer it says that the version of iTunes is not correctly localized for this language and asks for me to run the English version. I have no idea how to do that? Please help.

When i plug my iPad 2 to my computer it says not charging
When i plug my iPad 2 to my windows computer first it says OxE8000065 after i unplug my iPad 2 and i plug it again the computer reconizez it but on my iPad 2 it sais at the right top corner near the battery NOT CHARGING.
http://www.apple.com/batteries/ipad.html
Charging Tips
The quickest way to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter. When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge, but only when it's in sleep mode. Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain. -
