When I plug my phone into computer it won't charge or sync???
I've tried plugging my phone into computer but it doesn't charge or sync never starts. It's never worked since I've gotten it about 2 months ago.
Maybe the computer USB port is faulty or the iPhone port is dirty or the cable is faulty.
Have you tried to isolate the problem?

Assuming you are using the same Apple ID on the iPad and iPhone, you could erase the iPhone and then find the iPad backup.
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings (on the iPhone).
Then as part of the setup process, you would be invited to transfer information from the iPad's backup. -
I downloaded the new version of itunes and when i plug my phone into the computer and try and do something in itunes it wont let me because my device is synced to another itunes library. how do i get my old itunes back? or how can i sync my stuff into the new itunes with out deleting anything off my phone? Copy the iTunes folder from the old computer to your new one.

Just to be clear: Tap on the Photos app to start the app. Then tap on Albums at the bottom of the screen. You might have several albums but only one is named "Camera Roll." Are there photos in that album?
If there are NO photos in the Camera Roll album there are no pictures to import. The remaining albums might have come from a sync with your computer or they might be your PhotoStream.
If there ARE photos in the Camera Roll album, connect your iPhone to your computer and start your camera application on the computer. Your phone should be recognized as a camera. -
My iPhone 4s is stuck on a black screen that shows a USB cable connecting to iTunes. The phone will not turn on and the iTunes logo as I described only shows up when I plug the phone into the charger or my computer. I have tried the reset in restore mode as well as the DFU? mode and it still will not work. I have the latest version of iTunes on my Mac. My error code was 2002. I also tried it on my laptop (windows 8.1) and none of the above worked. My error code on my laptop was 02. The phone is through Verizon and it has absolutely no damage. I am unsure of what version the phone was currently running on before this because I have another iphone that's my primary phone and have not used this one in about a month. Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

I've seen this happen when the phone was encrypted... Other than calling apple/deleting passcodes I don't know of any solution.
If you're keen on waiting, upload your photos to dropbox, that's the way I do it. -
I have uninstalled and reinstalled ithunes and still when I plug my phone into my computer, itunes doesnt recongnize that my phone is present so i cant sync anything. I have tried numerous USB cords. I have also tried wifi sync.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. This makes 1 look and act more like previous versions. Also go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod>Sync your device>Set up syncing>Sync device manually.

In order for you to solve this problem you have to follow these stept if your running windows:
1'st step is to go into the device manager
2 step is to go to portable devices (it is rught under network adapters)
3 step is to right clic apple iphone and click update drivers
4 step is to brows your drivers from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
After that your itunes will pump up alown and youl see your iphone right there.

I agree to the machine but when the update requires activation by icloud account. I logged in with my account but still not activated and security. My account is being used to send mail me this log. I have an IPhone 4 that turns off on its own. When I plug the phone into an outlet, it says to connect to iTunes. When i connect my phone to itunes, the screen displays the apple icon and doesn't connect to iTunes. I need to backup info on this phone so I can apply my back up to a new iPhone. Sounds like your phone is in recovery mode. In this case, all data on it is gone. There's nothing to back up.
