When i plugged in my phone to my iTunes after i got the update for ios 7 everything from my icloud got on my phone so i plugged it into my itunes to try and take everything off but its saying i need the latest version of itunes how do i do that ?
rigght after i got the ios 7 update i noticed everything from my icloud was on my phone i dont want all that stuff on here so i plugged it into my computer and its saying that i need the latest version of itunes i have downloaded it twice and i am still getting the same error message. So my question is how am i supposed to download the latest version of itunes if its not working. it says for a Windows computer the update is 11.0.5 but i need 11.1 what am i supposed to do ?
you dont need computer. go to settings > icloud and turn off what you dont want like photostream/calendars/contacts. for itunes 11.1 you need to go to itunes.com and download it then install it.

I've had this issue a couple times now. I have a iPod touch. It is a couple years old, but still new enough to have dual cameras. There have been a couple apps I've tried to load, and it tells me I need a new version of iPod software. I go to the iPod software version screen, and it tells me I have the latest version available.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.
If not successful then you need a newer model iPod if you want to use that app -

The latest (and last) iOS for the iPhone 3G is 4.2.1.There is no way to update beyond that. If you want to use apps requiring iOS 5 or later, your only choice is to get a newer model iPhone. The 3G is obsolete.

The image came up on my screen saying that I need to connect my iPod to iTunes, but I have a passcode, so it won't allow me to. And I want to try and turn it off, but my touch screen doesn't seem to be working either, so I can't even turn it off since you need to "slide to power off." HELP! hi, my daughter wrote wrong paswords in my ipod touch and it is blocked. It says it needs to be connected to itunes, but once its there it says the ipod is blocked with a passcode..the ipod is just blocked. what can I do?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If the phone is unlocked then you can use it in India.
If your phone is locked, then the only way to get the phone unlocked is to contact your phone company/carrier. The person that sold you the phone in Saudi should have told you whether it was locked or unlocked. Contact them to check and then contact the carrier to have it unlocked if it is locked.
Other than that there is not a lot that you can do - perhaps it was unwise to purchase a phone in Saudi - it won't have Facetime on it if you got it there. -

Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

When i try and sync my IPOD Nano it says 'some of the items in the itunes library were not copied because they could not be found'. Unfortunately this is pretty much all my library! Help!

I bought this MAC from a family member. Did everything need to change items to my apple id. Today I did the update for IOS Yosemite now the app store is auto filling with someone else id?? But they seem to be my apps??
If you didn’t erase the drive and install using you AppleID, then the OS and the purchased apps are still registered to the other AppleID. You cannot change that by logging into iCloud. Apps are forever tied to the AppleID used to purchase/download them.
You have to erase the drive and download/install the Apps using your AppleID. -
