when i plugged in the ipod touch it said regiseter later but i know it said register now but the screen wouldt let me go over to register dont u need to register before you can do anything with the ipod??? someone please tell me what is wrong
You don't need to register it if you do not want to. It will work fine.
I recommend you do register it though.

when i plug in my ipod touch it goes to the battery witht he bolt under it the goes to the apple logo screen and after a while it will flash white like its trying to go to the lock screen but just restarts and restarts the process and keeps doing it. What should i do? Is there any way to fix it?

When I plug in my iPod touch 5th generation the small battery in the top right hand corner shows the charged sign. The big battery that shows up in the middle still shows it is charging. I've already been 2 the apple store & it didn't help any. Any ideas?

When I plug in my ipod touch my computer frezzes
When I plug in my ipod touch 4th gen to my computer the computer frezzes. This is a new one. I have 2 others and an iphone all of which plug into itunes and the computer without a problem. Any ideas how to remedy the problem?
- Did it sync/connect to the computer before with no problem?
- Are yo using the same cable that works with the other devices?
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- If still probolem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem with the iPod

ITunes locks when I plug in my iPod Touch
I recently transferred my iTunes library and devices from my old notebook to my new PC. It worked fine. About 3 weeks later, I found that when I plug in my iPod Touch 3rd gen that iTunes would hang up if it was open. If I don't open iTunes, I can plug in the Touch and then start iTunes and it doesn't lock up and I can sync. The same seems to happen with my iPad.
I'm at a loss as to how to go about fixing this, or even how to debug it. I'm running iTunes 10.2.1.1 and both devices have IOS 4.2.1. It might have started happening after I upgraded to 10.2.1.1. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit on a quad-core machine with 8Gb of RAM.
Any suggestions? Should I start by uninstalling iTunes and re-installing?
Thanks, Gary BergThat had a link, a couple times removed, to how to reinstall iTunes. I followed that, and it is better, but not perfect. It appears to be linked to whether or not I've checked for new podcasts since I started iTunes.
So it's not a complete fix, but helped. Frankly, I wonder if it's a bug in this version of iTunes. -

When i plug in the iPod computer speakers make a screeching sound.
I think this issue has bin going on ever since i have my ipod whick is christmas 2005. but i just write bout it now because i never had time...ok so... When i plug in the iPod everything goes fine, windows does that litle blirp sound, itunes recognizes it. But everytime i plug my iPod into the computer it does a screeching sound a bit like static in the computer speakers... or about 30 seconds ten it stops. I got my iPod serviced and replced in May [Good service Apple!, way to go!!] so both my OLD iPod and New iPod did/do this.... and my friends ipod video/nano does this also..... but from what i can remember my iPod shuffle didnt do that. MY SOTWARE IS ALL UP TO DATE!

I had the power in my house, go off for atleast a min or so..
so than it said we had no wifi when it showed it was working.

Why does the wireless connection on my desktop disconnect when I plug in my Ipod Touch?
Basically I just recently had my uncle build me a desktop computer and so far everything has been great but I noticed that everytime I plug in my iPod touch into it to charge it switches off my wirless adapter somehow making it impossible for my ipod to update or for me to use the internet. Then when I disconnect the iPod I can't firgue out how to switch the wireless adapter back one. Most of the time I have to use the windows troubleshoot to fix it. And sometimes it says that the wireless adapter had been reset or something?
I have the same issue. I believe this is an issue that has only developed since the last ITunes update since I have had no problem prior to this. I have isolated the problem to be a conflict between ITunes and the AE1000 driver. I have found no solution yet. If you do find a solution please notify me. Thanks.
