When I press run to begin installation, nothing happens either in IE or Chrome
Trying to install Firefox in Windows 7 Home Premium on an HP Pavilion PC. Download works, but when I click run, nothing happens. I have tried installing in both IE and Chrome and still nothing. Any ideas? I think it may have something to do with how my user account is set up, but don't know enough about setting up accounts to investigate further. I am a 68 year old grandmother of 6 who is not all that technically savvy so any advise has to be step by step or easy to understand. Thank you. Sandra in McLean, Virginia
Did you Download the full Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop?
The small stub installer that is offered by default needs to access internet to download the files and can be blocked by security software causing the download to fail.
The full installer shouldn't give this issue.
Try this:
*Download the full Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop<br>https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
*Start the installation with a double-click on the desktop icon
You should get the usual UAC pop-up from Windows to start the installation.

Try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own.

Assuming that the battery isn't empty (and it can take up to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep/on/off and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I do not know the answer but with itunes store which is essentially a website most errors seem to be on the Apple side. Report it to itunes store support

hello, my i phone 4 froze suddenly. before it did, the battery was 80% full. i called it from another phone and i can hear a ringing tone but my phone is completely dead. i pressed the operating button and nothing happens. also i tried connecting it to my mac but nothing happens. i also put it on the charger but nothing happens. any tips please?

How to reset your SMC >>
Run fsck.
1. Reboot/Startup holding your Command-S key down.
2. At the command line type the following and hit 'Return.'
/sbin/fsck -fy
3. After it has check/repaired your disk, type 'reboot' and hit 'Return' again. Unit should bootup normally.

I try to upload an apps with the CD but when i press setup and entre password nothing happen?
I try to re install photo element 6 with the set up CD but when i press setup, "Setup wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this". I enter my password after that nothing happen?

you are talking about the camera app? Instead of tapping or pressing, slide. just touch the word photo (or square) and slide towards the shutter.

I have a new laptop running Windows 8.1. The 10.3.1 version downloaded, but it was incompatible with Windows 8 and 64-bit. Then I tried to download Itunes 11.1.5 and it comes up with the box asking me to save. When I click on save...NOTHING happens. AAAAAHHHHH!!! I even clicked on the download list to see if it is possessed and downloaded somewhere I didn't choose, but that's NOT happening either. Please help me! I have been messing with this and 4 other problems on this laptop for the last 32 hours. I'm getting tired and frustrated. Also, I haven't even put music on THIS Laptop because on my other one, I ended up with at least 5 copies of EACH SONG. Let's see 636 X 5 = 3,180 and they were in EVERY POSSIBLE LOCATION!!!

I have installed firefox 3.2.64. When i click on the desktop icon nothing happens. The windows task manager says mozilla firefox is running but I can't see it anywhere. What might the problem be?A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
