When I print 4x6 photos they are crooked on the paper
Can anyone tell me why, when I print 4x6 photos the photo is crooked on the paper?

Sorry that the photos are coming out crooked. There actually could be a number of reasons why this could be happening. I would like to request a little information from you.
1. The model number of the printer. (c309, a909, d110)
2. What type of paper are you using? (brand and size)
3. Have you done any type of troubleshooting since the issue has begun? (Cleaning rollers, power cycling)
4. How long has this issue been a problem and did it ever print correct?
5. Does this error occur when you print out of the one application or all applications?
The answers you provide will allow me to better diagnose the issue.
If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!

I am trying to print 4x6 photos from my laptop. I have changed the preferences for the printer to "photo tray" and 4x6 photo paper. I keep getting the message "no paper in tray". The main tray is empty and I have 4x6 photo paper in the photo tray. What next?
the settings are correct. if I put paper in the main tray it prints the picture on paper, not photo paper. I printed a test page last night and it printed on the photo paper. I still get the same message when trying to print the photo. Thanks

Whenever i purchase movies and they are stored in the cloud and i want to download them to my computer it gives me a connection issue, error 43. i have not had this problem in the past and the only recent change is my internet provider.

I have produced a web page which uses svg images. One of these is here:
http://donwagner.dk/JZSS5.4.svg.
The svg's are produced by Adobe Illustrator, version CS5. Viewed in any browser the images look good at any magnification, but when I print the page in Firefox the image is seriously blurred, seemingly because the rasterization uses the wrong resolution.
The same happens in all browsers, not quite so bad in Chrome but still not perfect.
Do you have plans to fix this bug, or do you have a workaround?

Don WagnerIn my experience, print quality settings such as dpi/ppi are hidden in your printer driver settings and not directly available through Firefox's UI. In the print dialog, if you click the Properties button, you hopefully will gain access to this setting. Obviously native web resolution (96ppi) can give disappointing results, so hopefully you can find a place to increase it.

When i send photos, they are received as the same photo
When I send pictures from iphoto, all the pictures are received as the same picture. Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong.

When I download file sin Safari they are deleted automatically. The message I get is: "deleted because it contained a virus".
How do I solve this?
I have uninstalled and installed Safari a couple of times - to no avail.
I have no trouble in other navigators.

When i print my photos are not centered on the sheet, what am I doing wrong
When I print my pictures they are centered on my sheet. I have a HP J6450 Officejet. Are there settings that I have not set up right. I use Photoshop CS4. Hope there is someone that can help me.
DennisWhen you choose print in PS CS4 and the print screen pops up make sure Center Image has a check mark in it.

I cannot print 4x6 photos only 8.5x11
When I try to print a 4x6 photo it looks like it has a red haze to it. When I try to print the same picture on 8.5x11 it prints perfectly. How do I get the printer to print 4x6 photos. I am using HP paper. Can you help?

I have several users in an exchange environment who cannot email a photo from the iPhone. When the click on Email Photo, they are prompted to configure a mail account even though there is already an exchange account in place. How do I remediate this? Not all of the users in our environment have this issue. If the users having this issue, install a secondary email account, Gmail, Hotmail, etc, then they can send through those accounts. Why would the exchange account not be seen to send photos?
Sounds like it worked until the policies associated with the account that are creating the problem were fully pushed down.
Try setting up a new (test) Exhange account and see if it behaves the same way on the phone (after removing the problem account from the phone, of course). -
My pictures and videos are shown correctly in my phone and when I play videos in itunes they are upright, but the location they are saved on my computer they are side ways. There has got to be a setting somewhere to fix this. Please help.
Generally I would not use Facebook for sharing any photos, it compresses the photos substantially, and when you have shadows and dark colours you get visible "bands" where there should be subtle gradients, ie at sunsets and sunrises.
It sounds like you are using two methods to upload to Facebook:
1. Sharing from within Aperture, which basically syncs Facebook with your Aperture album, so any changes made at either end gets synced, hence the deletions from Albums, although the original file should still be in your library, just removed rom the album. It is like a playlist in iTunes.
2. Exporting pics and uploading to Facebook from the browser.
I am not sure how method 1 gets compressed, but I know that uploading hi-res jpegs to Facebook using method 2 results in poor quality images.
I wouldn't even bother comparing option 1 or 2, and they will both be poor images once you view them on Facebook, as opposed to viewing uploaded images on proper image sharing / hosting sites.
Your problem is not with Aperture, it is using Facebook for showing your work.
If you export pics form Aperture at high res jpegs or TIFFs your images will be fine.
If you insist to use Facebook as your way to share your work, then your workflow should be this:
1. Right click images you want to share.
2. Select Export version.
3. Export as 100% size and ensure the export settings are set at 100% quality.
4. Upload this pic into Facebook.
This will get you the best image size and resolution on Facebook.

hi can I have a reply to above question: I just upgraded my old versionj 3 of photoshop elements to v13 when I import photos they are not imported in the same order they are mixeds up
In the documents screen - sorry, new to this so not sure if that's the right terminology... Basically the screen showing all documents, if you drag down, there should be two options at the of of the page: Date and Name. Select Name and your list should now be in alphabetic order.

hello, i have a problem with my macbook air. When i try to open my iPhoto i should wait about 3mins to get opened it and also in it just appeared around 57000 photos! in which i have 2000. they are not mine, the photos are pics of other people or things
If you want help you’ll need to give us more information. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have. -

Trying to print 4x6 photos. How can I print with no borders on LR5 with my HP OfficeJet 7410? Even when in Print mode in LR5, my photos show a border. Page Setup shows "borderless". Image Settings show "zoom to fill". But cannot print, nor even preview, without borders.
