When I print a picture from I photo on my HP 310 printer I select the fill picture which appears as a portrate then prints as landscape so I get the centre of the the original picture only. I have tried to fix but no luck what can I do?
When I try to print from I photo ie a A6 lanscape picture a page apears showing me how I want the picture on the selected paper and size ie "fill" I then press print and then a window apears showing how it will apear on the paper and it continously shows the paper as portrait and the picture I am trying to print appears in a lanscape form so that only the center of the picture is printed with two white areas apearing top and pottom. Why does the picture not print in the correct direction as the print page shows I selected landscape format. I hope you understand.

Thanks so much but none of that helped. It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive. I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!

My email account has frozen and when I go to settings I cannot get to change anything. It has frozen. I have tried re-booting, but it stays frozen. I have two accounts: one is via a proxy server from my work place. I think that is the cause of my problem, bit I cannot get to it to delete or remove it. Can anyone help?
Did you change the email address associed with yur account? If you only changed that, your Apple ID address is not changed. See:

Welcome to the Apple community.
I'd be inclined to do exactly what it's telling you to do.
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore. -

I backed up my old iPhone on iCloud, ensuring that contacts was 'on' and then backed up my new iPhone 5. I have surely missed a vital step, but I can't figure it out.

The device is in recovery mode. Connect it to a computer and restore it.

What is the problem when all you get is a picture of a charging cord and the itunes logo? I tried hooking up to my computer and itunes and it said I could not download the new software while it was in recovery mode but it won't let me do anything else. Any ideas?
I hope you have a backup if you don't want to lose your iPad contents. You have to restore the iPad now using iTunes on your computer. That's what the message on the screen means.

My 4th generation ipod nano is frozen of thealnguage screen. I have tried to restore it but it keeps getting frozen on that same screen. My wheel is unresponsive. I have also reset it with no results.

Apple won't actually repair the iPod but instead will swap it out for a refurbished unit of the same generation and capacity. So it would be a bit cheaper to send it to a 3rd party repair center who will actually swap out the damaged/faulty parts.

Every time I close a document on Pages the software crashes and I have to force quit. Then I restart the program and all the docs that were up at the time of the crash reappear. I haven't lost any work yet but it's super annoying to have to restart everytime I try to close a doc. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I couldn't seem to download the itunes update so i uninstalled the old one and tried to redownload but it won't work and now I have no iTunes at all! It doesn't tell me why it won't download just that it COULD be an error! please help I have no music

The "link related" and "text related" crashes were what I interpretted here, too, though I'm at a loss on how to proceed given that this is a fresh system and applications. This is happening with multiple InDesign projects in a design office environment where many others work on the same files and none of the other computers are having problems with these files. I've removed the same files listed (thank you for those) before and did so effectively with creating the new user account to test with, but it had no effect. I just tried again though, as these files could easily have becone corrupt again if they were being written to when InDesign crashed. Will let you know if that makes any difference. I've also gone through and completely cleaned out the fonts again and once more cleared the font caches. If need be I'll reboot this system into safe mode and try that way.
