When i print text, it becomes blurry

When i print ariel size 12 on my printer using microsoft word or off the internet it's fine...however, i've just printed a sheet with a size 12 text around my picture on photoshop and the text is blurry. The text looks fine when i view the whole thing on 100%, but when i print it off, it looks like it does when i view it at 125%
Any advice?
I'm using photoshop cs2

Luke,
Also, when reposting in the Photoshop forum, please define what "size 12" means. Points? Pixels? Inches? Didots? Web? We're not talking shoe or dress sizes. In addition, post what resolution your file is, and what you mean by "blurry". Soft? Pixelated? Finally, whether the type is still live type, or if it has been converted to pixels.
This additional detail will help the folks in Photoshop provide answer.

When i pause a video in FCPX the current frame becomes clear but when i press play they become blurry?

I had this SAME EXACT problem for WEEKS! >_<
It was so frustrating. I tried everything I could. I was even using uncompressed video files (+60GB in size!) to try to fix the problem, but nope. Nothing. Except this...
    Go to:
Preferences -> Playback -> Playback Quality and select "High Quality"
By default, FCPX uses the lower quality setting to save resources.
"...Playback Quality pop-up menu to choose whether to always use the highest-quality video for playback or downsized video for better playback performance"

  • Is there a way to automatically add the filename in the page header when batch printing text files directly from finder?

hello, i have 80 text files (docx). the finder preview works great and i can open them in pages.
I need to batch print them from finder:
I select all the documents > drag on printer's icon> printer puts them in queue ( after an on the fly pdf conversion)  ad starts printing.
    BUT
i need the filename printed on each page  ( in hearder or footer) , not only the regular text content.
Do you know if there is a workaround?
    thank you

If that section has an ID or NAME attribute then you can add that to the URL (#anchor) that you want to reload.

  • F380 All In One won't print text

Printer will not print any text from any document.   It will print photos, graphics, graphs, tables, everything except text.  This is a brand new issue - it was working great; this is a new problem.  I have tried printing documents from my computer and documents online including pdfs but no text will print.  It has plenty of ink.  I tried uninstalling the printer and driver and reinstalling them but nothing works.  Help!!  I have Windows 8.1 and use MS Office 365 to create most documents.
If the document has text and tables or jpegs inserted, the tables and jpegs will print fine but no text appears.  If the document is just text, all I get is a blank page.

    Hi @lacooper,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that text is not printing with your HP Deskjet F380 on Windows 8.1 when using Microsoft Office 365. I am happy to look into this issue for you!
What happens when you print text from NotePad? Does it work? If so, then the problem could like with Microsoft Office 365. If that is the case, then I would contact Microsoft Office Support.
If that is not the case, I would then try our HP Print and Scan Doctor, and take a look through this guide, Missing, Faded, or Dull Colors.
    Best of luck!

  • Sharp Photo When Placed in Indesign, Text becomes Blurry...

I have a Photo (with Sharp Text) that when Placed in InDesign, the Text Becomes Blurry (as in Unreadable)...
What's Up with that? And, more Importantly, what can I do to Correct?  Thanks (can attach if needed)

Is this on screen or in print? Check Display Performance. Right-click on the image to change the display performance of only that image, or use the View menu to change the Display Performance of the document. Higher display quality generally slows the program down, although it can be slight. If the text is a text layer in Photoshop consider saving as Photoshop PDF. This will keep the file fully editable in Photoshop but the text will be vector paths in the PDF, rather then rendered raster art at the image's resolution.

  • When i import my AutoCad PDF into photoshop my lines and text become blurry. How do i fix this

When i import my AutoCad PDF into photoshop my lines and text become blurry. How do i fix this?
Is it resizing as I import it  or maybe a printer thing?

It is rasterizing the PDF at the resolution you tell it to, unless it's an image only PDF - then the image will be opened as-is.

  • OCR images without text becoming blurry by default

    Newbie question here.
    Personally..  I don't care about the PDF-filesizes.
I'd like ALL my PDF files to be in the highest possible quality, by default.
No matter whether they involve converted Office documents or JPG-files.
Must confess, I am a bit overwhelmed by the number of settings and am unsure :
    - which ones can be set as default
    - which ones should be set at each new task
    - how to reset Acrobat to its defaults.
I know, it is slightly off-topic as far as "Scanning & OCR" is concerned.
I am posting here because I have this problem of images (screencaptures containing text) are getting blurry
    once OCR is being performed.
Based on another post here I now know that I should use 'Searchable Image (Exact)" at the OCR settings.
This made me asking here what best (highest quality) settings I should use when converting other type of documents to PDF.
e.g. noticed a number of settings when converting to PDF

Use High Quality Print or Press Quality here?
at High Quality / Press Quality - > Edit -> Images I noticed downsampling, should I set this 'Off'

    Surely appreciate recommendations.
    Involves Acrobat XI
    TIA

    Hi,
Unless you use Acrobat 8 Pro's Formatted Text & Graphics" or Acrobat 9 Pro's ClearScan you will find that there is no
practicable means of editing the OCR "hidden text" in a PDF.
The TouchUp text tool (Advanced Editing toolbar) is reliant upon the selected text having an available system font to use during touchup. However, both Searchable Image and Searchable Image (Exact)  OCR output is of text rendering mode 3 (invisible text) that is provided from within Acrobat and not any installed system or other application installed font.
With Searchable Image (Exact) you have the untouched image augmented by the invisible text which is provided as a user aid for search or find with Adobe Reader or Acrobat. The invisible text is not intended to support word processor like editing.
    To your questions:
#1. There is no practicable way to edit invisible text (text rendering mode 3) with Acrobat (any past or current release).
    #2. None.
#3. A good question. Perhaps a specialty program. Keep in mind, many products provide a promise but those those that actually deliver tend to be expensive.
Something to play with. Using Acrobat 9 Pro or Pro Extended, try the Preflight Fixup to embed hidden text.
Then try using the TouchUp Text tool. You may also want to see if you can change the font type of this newly embedded font.
(use copies of the "real" files - just in case <g>).
    Be well...

  • How can I show only text edits and not text formatting when using print comments summary?

    Acrobat 9.3.0 for Mac.
Here is the scenario: I used the Compare command to see the changes between 2 PDFs. The resulting file some edits are inserts and some are deletions. I want to print a comments summary only showing the text edits. In the Compare Option pane, I select Text and deselect Images, Annotations, Formatting, Headers/Footers, and Backgrounds. Now on the screen I see inserts are highlighted in blue and deletions are marked with sort of a caret and vertical bar symbol. So all looks good at this point. However, when I show the Comments List, I see addtional comments that indicate "Replace - The following text attributes were changed: fill color." Those comments do not appear in the page view unless I check the Formatting check box to show them. With Formatting unchecked, I print a comments summary and all of the "Replace - Fill Color" comments" appear on the resulting comments summary.
I only want to show text edits, not text formatting changes. So questions are:
    1. Why, when the Formatting checkbox is unchecked, do the text formatting comments still appear in the comments list when they do not appear on the page display.
    2. How can I print only the text content edits and not show the text formatting changes when using Print Comments Summary.

    Hi,
You can set ExecuteWithParams as default activity in the task flow then method activity to return total no of rows passing to Router activity if your method has value 0 then call Create insert operation else do directly to page.
Following idea could be your task flow
Execute With param (default) > SetCurrentRowWithKey > GetTotalNoOfRows (VOImpl Method)
    |
    v
    Router
    1. If pageFlowScope outcome is 0 then call CreateInsert > MyPage
    2. if pageFlowScope outcome > 0 then MyPage
    hope it helps,

  • Text cut of on very bottom of page when I print - Photosmart 6520; Macbook Pro

I don't know what's going on, but when I print two-sided from a word doc on my mac, the the lower half of the text at the very bottom of each page cuts off.  Can anyone help me fix this problem?  I'd really appreciate it.

    Hi bkflores32,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums! I see when you print a 2 sided document from Word to your HP Photosmart 6520 it cuts off the lower half of text on the bottom of each page. I would first like us to make sure it is not the hardware, please print out the 2 page document as single pages, now I want you to make a 2 sided copy. Does this cut off the bottom text or does this come out with no print quality issues?
If the copy comes out fine, please let me know the following:
    1. What is your current Mac OS X?
    2. Did you recently upgrade your Mac OS X?
    3. Are all Apple updates installed and up to date?
I look forward to hearing from you.

  • The photos in my IPhoto have all become mini-thumbnails and I can't open or edit them. When I print the image it comes out normal size.  How do I get the thumbnails back to the standard size and be able to work with them?

The photos in my IPhoto have all become mini-thumbnails and I can't open or edit them. When I print the image it comes out normal size.  How do I get the thumbnails back to the standard size and be able to work with the photo files?

What version of iPhoto and system are you running?  On the guess that you're running the latest iPhoto, 9.4.2, Try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the thumnails, Option #2.
2 - It may take 2-3 attempts so don't give up after only one attempt.

  • Email printed to PDF, PDF appears accurate in Acrobat XI Pro, when PDF printed to paper text missing

    HELP!!!
I have text disappear from Outlook emails printed to PDF when I print the PDF files from Acrobat XI Pro to a printer.
Here is a sample png from the PDF file printed out of Outlook - all the text is showing.
However when I print the PDF from Acrobat to a printer, the document comes out of the printer with text missing as shown:
The Acrobat print window shows all of the text that should be there as does Acrobat's view of the document.
Also, if I save the file to an image, all of the text is there.
I have tried different emails as well as different printers and the paper printed copies of the PDF emails are always missing text.
Additionally I have tried coverting the PDF file to a PDF/A file and printing that and the same problems occur.
Please send some tips as to how I can fix this!

    Hello Atul -
i am having similar printing issues with Acrobat 10.1.4.
in my case both PDFs made by me (from InDesign files) and other PDFs made elsewhere and sent to me are missing text when printed to paper -though they look fine both on-screen and in the preview pane, as Katy noted above.
these PDFs print fine when i open and print from an older version of Acrobat (9.5.2).
they will also print fine from 10.1.4 if i send them to another printer in the office, (a Dell Color Laser 3110cn), the printer i have a problem with is a Kyocera Mita KM-5053 - which leads me to believe that this is some kind of communication error between Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.4 and this printer, or perhaps a driver issue. ?
I don't believe it's merely a preferences/print settings problem as i've gone pretty carefully through all the dialog boxes that seem relevant and have had no luck in solving the problem. Also, the text that's missing seems arbitraty - meaning, it's not merely hyperlinks or certain layers or text in specific type faces that won't print -it's content in the same text box, where other text does print, and it's blacks and colors and various point sizes - in short there are no easily discernable unifying circumstances among the text that does not print.
obvioulsy an easy work around is to just print to the other printer or use the older version of Acrobat, but my concern is more that other people may be experiencing the same issues with PDFs i send them. so if it is a problem in the way i'm generating PDFs (although, as i said, text is also missing from PDFs i have received from other people and printed) i'd like to fix it quickly, so that people trying to print my PDFs don't end up with critical content missing.
i'm on a 2008 MacBook Pro running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5, and using the Acrobat (X Pro v 10.1.4) that came with the CS6 Design & Web Premium package - although i'm looking at it online now and it's listed as Acrobat XI Pro..
any input you have would be much appreciated.
    thank you,
    bethany

  • This is probably a dumb question, but I can't find an answer. How do I make the text on my calendar larger so I can actually read it when I print it out?

This is probably a dumb question, but I can't find an answer. How do I make the text on my calendar larger so I can actually read it when I print it out? I am using a MacBook.

Press "Command P" and when the Print dialogue box comes up, towards the bottom there is an option allowing you to choose the text size, i.e: small, med, large.
    Hope this helps,

  • I printed an AutoCad drawing to PDF and the PDF looks OK on the screen but when I print the PDF to a printer the text in the drawing is crosshatched with lines and you cant's see the letters, I printed an AutoCad drawing to PDF and the PDF looks OK on the

I need to know why this crosshatching appears over the text when I print the PDF

If you use the same Adobe Reader versions with the same PDF on Windows 7 and XP, then I would expect the outcome to be the same.
Is this a local or online PDF?
If local, is the file really exactly the same?
    If online, in what browser?
