hi i have use many version of firefox and i have a problem , when i want to print a document then the firefox sent to my printer a previous document and i must push f5 anytime before press ok for printing

It's always helpful if you mention the model number of the printer.
In general, jams are caused by dirty print rollers, and mis-aligned paper guides.
Best to check your manual for a faster answer.

When I close the last tab I am sent to my desk top and do not stay on Firefox, but if I hit the open button again it says Firefox is running??

This started this last weekend. When I close the last tab instead of staying on Firefox it goes directly to my desktop. If I hit the Firefox icon again I get a message saying that Firefox is still running and that I should restart. But if I just hit open again it reopens or shows Firefox home page again. How do I stop this?

Set the pref browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab to false on the about:config page to prevent closing the last tab from closing that window, you need to use "File > Close Window" or the close X on the title bar.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
*Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
*Preferences that have been modified show as bold(user set).
*Preferences can be reset to the default or changed via the right-click context menu.
You may need to wait a bit longer before restarting Firefox.

Can anybody help? Basically LR is useless, it has been nothing but problems.

When I did the last update my pictures got scrambled and the dates are gone and there's strange numbers and letters underneath them.

It says that to download past purchases, they must done under the apple ID that was used to purchase the items. I have an original ID for my iTunes on my computer. At some point I changed my apple ID on the iTouch since that email account was deleted. So I was syncing through iTunes under a different ID then was on my iTouch. Can I do anythng about that so I can check past purchases?
Since the apps aren't in the backup, how do I transfer the apps on my iTouch to my iTunes?

Firefox closes when I close the last tab, on one system not the other

Ctrl-W closes the last tab. On my Windows XP machine I get an empty window Good. This is like Windows and Excel, you can close all pages without quitting the application.
On my Windows XP Professional system it Exits Firefox. Not good. I don't want it to close until I hit Alt-F4.

Grey Screen in iPad Content Viewer when swipe through the last slides of the articles

Some of co-workers and clients reported and issue with the presentations and the viewer: some times grey screens appear when swiping in an presentation from article to article (reproducible only for the last slide of the article).
Pre-conditions:
1. Folio with several articles (3-4 is good).
2. Articles should have different number of slides.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open folio on iPad and go to the last slide of each article.
2. Swipe from article to article (better from the first one article to the last one)..
Expected outcome: Last slide of the next article is displayed.
Actual outcome: Grey screen is displayed instead of the last article. Some times it's needed to swipe fast to reproduce the issue. Or at least on the last slide you'll see grey screen instead of the content.
Content will be displayed if you scroll up the page. Seems that new (additional) page is added after the last slide of an article and disappeared after scrolling the page.
Notes: Reproducible with the latest version of adobe viewer (i'm using v31(3.4.3.0.96281). NOT reproducible in iPad Content Viewer with version 3.2.1.3.85505.
Maybe somebody knows the root cause of this issue and how to fix it?

I can confirm that I've seen this happen but beyond that, I can't help.

ITunes 11.1.2 not always counting tracks as played when stopped within the last 10 seconds

It used to be that if you stop playing a track in iTunes within its last 10 seconds (or start playing another track, etc.), that track would still register as played, with the "Last Played" field updating and the "Plays" field being boosted.
However, since I've upgraded to iTunes 11.1.2, this seems to only work intermittently. Sometimes, when I switch to another track, the first track is not registered as played, which is what I would expect. But sometimes it does work. There's no real pattern.
Can anyone reproduce this behaviour? Play a track and stop it manually (Cmd + Period, or change track by double-clicking on another track) when there's less than 10 seconds left of the track. Does it increment this track's "Plays" counter?

I have the same problem. I have 2 Mac computers and 3 iOS devices, so itunes match is very essential to my setup. After some painful try out, i have found a temporary fix.
first turn off itunes match on all of your mac computers, you can leave it on on your ios devices.
then create whatever playlists you need on one of your macs. because now itunes match is off, it won't try to delete your new playlists.
and after you're done, quit itunes, open it again. and turn on itunes match. it should stay.
wait and let itunes match update. this time the new playlists should stay. now go to the other mac/macs, turn on itunes match, the new playlists should sync.
check on your ios devices, they should sync as well.

When burning cd the last few songs are distorted; get error message

When I burn cd in from a playlist the last few songs are distorted.. I receive an error message that states: cd burn was not succesful due to a "meduim write error".... ???

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

When putting in the last flourishes,And after hours of work

All of the sudden iMovie closes down ,
which is followed by a notification that "iMovie has closed". which includes the option to reopen or send a report to apple .
I am usually so freaked out that I choose reopen the project , and find my Movie with out the last hour or so of my editing . It does have its advantage, when I go into the trash and find that all the transitions are now perfectly workable clips that when put back into the story line can be outrageous when new transitions are added,I have found it use full esp when working with short clips so the lemon becomes lemon aid. Does this occur because there is a limit to how much you can do in the iMovie program ?, or is there not enough memory
on my computer , and I am ashamed to say that I have yet to file the report with Apple

That iMovie crashed or that the clips you found in the trash appear to be shorter?
-iMovie crashing might mean that you need to do a little maintenance on your hard drive (repairing permissions, cleaning out cache files, and plists) The disk utility application on your mac will take care of the permissions and there are some good shareware apps that take care of cache files, running cron scripts, journaling etc. I use Cocktail (http://www.macosxcocktail.com/) for the stuff I'm told I should do monthly but really don't know what it's for. iMovie rarely crashes on me and when it does, I know its time to run Cocktail.

Can you turn off when safari saves the last webpage when you quit (IE. Command Q)

I was hoping to find out if you can turn off safari saving the last page when you quit the application (Feature frfrom OS X Lion, also the same in iWork). I find this very annoying as I find it slows down my computer when i am trying to launch safari.

System Preferences/General. There is a checkbox to enable/disable this behavior near the bottom of the window. Alternatives are: quit while holding the option key. Launch from dock while holding the shift key.

Continue having the SIM error.This started when I downloaded the last software upgrade to improve battery life. Please create a new upgrade to solve this!

SInce three weeks ago, exactly when I downloaded the new software upgrade to solve the battery short duration, I started to have problems with my iphone, every morning appears a SIM error and I have to reset the device to get internet signal. And then I have to do teh same every 3-4 hours because the sim error appears again! I brouth the device to my phone company ( telcel) but they cannot do nothing to fix this. They told that Apple know about this, because it is happening to many people. So, we all are waiting a new upgrade SOON PLEASE!!!

When I downloaded lastest OS X software for airport, my computer no longer 'sees' the airport card. So what to do to fix it.

It turns out that I had a software corruption when I downloaded the new software so that the airport hardware is not recognized even though by diagnostics it is intact and functional.

On the status bar was always a locker when I was on a saved page, when I downloaded the last version, he was gone, can I get it back?

I use my ipods for audiobooks ALL THE TIME and it would kill me it that stopped working.
I have my own way of doing audiobooks, which works well for me, but many ways should work.
How are you downloading your audiobooks from iTunes, Audible.com, your public library, ripping from CDs...?

Close the last tab without closing the firefox app

1.I would like to close the last tab without closing the app. The behaviour I expect is the app to open a new blank tab when I close the last tab. Currently I cannot close the last tab which already has some website opened in it.
2. When I open a new tab, i'm forced to enter a website address. I expect to the app to simply open a blank new tab & leave it to me whether to enter a address or not.

well, I would prefer to leave it to the end user whether he wants the awesome screen while pressing a new tab button/ or open a simple blank page. Let him choose it in the config.

Trying to update firefox. It tells me to close all applications including firefox--the last box open is firefox setup. I close that and no setup--I tried and tried but it wants me to close a closed page?

The update was downloaded and I started the process. The firefox set up box instructs me to close firefox. The only firefox is the set up box that is open. When I close the last firefox the set up is of course gone. The bottom line: It is telling to close a closed page.

You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)
