When I print the paper gets jammed.

It's always helpful if you mention the model number of the printer.
In general, jams are caused by dirty print rollers, and mis-aligned paper guides.

Problem printing from my iPad use to work now the paper comes out empty

Go into iMessage and Facetime and sign out.
Go to Settings > iTunes and App Store, log out the person who sold it to you and enter your information.
Or go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings and then start from scratch.

What version of iPhoto and system are you running?  On the guess that you're running the latest iPhoto, 9.4.2, Try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the thumnails, Option #2.
2 - It may take 2-3 attempts so don't give up after only one attempt.

  • I am using Photoshop CS3 and the image looks ok on screen, but when I print the image is greenish.

I have checked with the printer's help desk and they say that this problem is not the printer, and there are no settings to change on the printer. Adobe no longer supports CS3. The immages look OK on screen, but when I print the page, the immage comes out kinda greenish, (more like, quite greenish). I don't know how to fix this problem or where to adjust any settings. Also to mention, the images are completed after a 2 day process, and this musst be done by Dec 22, 2011. Are there simple print options that will fix this problem?

You're getting into color management territory here and you need to target troubleshooting more specifically.
Basically you have a document profile that defines the colors. That profile is then converted (translated) into
    1. A monitor profile for display, and
    2. A printer/paper/ink profile for print.
If both profiles are good you'll get a reasonable match (allowing for the inherent differences between screen and paper).
If they don't match either could be wrong. So first off, is the monitor calibrated, or are you using the Windows default (sRGB), or a manufacturer provided profile?
Second, printer color management can be a bit obscure in that some manufacturers "hide" color management by doing it all under the hood and expecting sRGB input. Others, like Epson, allow you to pick the profile. This makes everything more transparent and makes troubleshooting much easier.
    EDIT: cross post.

  • Email printed to PDF, PDF appears accurate in Acrobat XI Pro, when PDF printed to paper text missing

    HELP!!!
I have text disappear from Outlook emails printed to PDF when I print the PDF files from Acrobat XI Pro to a printer.
Here is a sample png from the PDF file printed out of Outlook - all the text is showing.
However when I print the PDF from Acrobat to a printer, the document comes out of the printer with text missing as shown:
The Acrobat print window shows all of the text that should be there as does Acrobat's view of the document.
Also, if I save the file to an image, all of the text is there.
I have tried different emails as well as different printers and the paper printed copies of the PDF emails are always missing text.
Additionally I have tried coverting the PDF file to a PDF/A file and printing that and the same problems occur.
Please send some tips as to how I can fix this!

    Hello Atul -
i am having similar printing issues with Acrobat 10.1.4.
in my case both PDFs made by me (from InDesign files) and other PDFs made elsewhere and sent to me are missing text when printed to paper -though they look fine both on-screen and in the preview pane, as Katy noted above.
these PDFs print fine when i open and print from an older version of Acrobat (9.5.2).
they will also print fine from 10.1.4 if i send them to another printer in the office, (a Dell Color Laser 3110cn), the printer i have a problem with is a Kyocera Mita KM-5053 - which leads me to believe that this is some kind of communication error between Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.4 and this printer, or perhaps a driver issue. ?
I don't believe it's merely a preferences/print settings problem as i've gone pretty carefully through all the dialog boxes that seem relevant and have had no luck in solving the problem. Also, the text that's missing seems arbitraty - meaning, it's not merely hyperlinks or certain layers or text in specific type faces that won't print -it's content in the same text box, where other text does print, and it's blacks and colors and various point sizes - in short there are no easily discernable unifying circumstances among the text that does not print.
obvioulsy an easy work around is to just print to the other printer or use the older version of Acrobat, but my concern is more that other people may be experiencing the same issues with PDFs i send them. so if it is a problem in the way i'm generating PDFs (although, as i said, text is also missing from PDFs i have received from other people and printed) i'd like to fix it quickly, so that people trying to print my PDFs don't end up with critical content missing.
i'm on a 2008 MacBook Pro running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5, and using the Acrobat (X Pro v 10.1.4) that came with the CS6 Design & Web Premium package - although i'm looking at it online now and it's listed as Acrobat XI Pro..
any input you have would be much appreciated.
    thank you,
    bethany

  • We have an imac 27, with 2 accounts.  We share a Canon 9000 II printer, wired..  If my wife prints a photo it printes perfectly  When I print the same pic from my  account, overall dark magenta cast. Ideas????

We have an iMac 27, wife and I each have an administrator account.  When she prints a pic from iphoto, or from  the web, the colors are perfect, they match the monitor.  When i print the same pic from my account, there is a dark magenta cast overall.  Same printer, same driver, same paper.  Using a Canon 9000series II printer, connected by wire.  This is a new phenomenon.  Using new inks, cartridges are full, all lit.  Any ideas what could be causing this weird phenomenon???

When i print the same pic from my account, there is a dark magenta cast overall.
what happens when you print from your wives account?
    This is a new phenomenon.
When did this start, when you installed a new OS, applications, new Mac?
A first step is to reset the printer from your account:
Apple Menu > System Preferences > Printers: right click in the list of printers and select Reset Printing System

  • How can I make signature darker when I print the report?

I need to put my manager's signature on the report. The signature is too light, How can I make it darker when I print the report?
I used file link and OLE, both did't make it.
    Thanks.

No way to do it directly in the report. You need to work with signature image file using any graphic software to increase its contrast. The easiest probably would be to use Paintbrush and change the image to black-and-white, then save back as jpeg file.

  • The second time when i print the report the page appear cut in the right

    hi,
I created a report in Report Builder 6i. When i print the report appear well, but when i try to print the same report second time in the right of the page appears cut.
Why? What should I do to appear the entire page at the second print?
    Thx.

Flattening and merging are very similar. The main difference is merging keeps the transparent areas, whereas flattening removes all transparent areas by giving it a white background. A good example of flattening is a jpg image.
Since you have closed the file by closing photoshop, that means that the history is now gone, no way of undoing.
So that leaves you with two choices.
You can either recreate the whole document.
Or you can make selections of areas you are keeping and moving them one at a time to new layers. Keep each object on a separate layer. Then redo the area behind those objects.

  • When I print a 4x6 color picture using an iMac with the latest operating system using a Canon MX892 printer, faint black lines appear every 3/16 of an inch. When I print the same picture using iPhoto there is no problem.

When I print a 4x6 color picture using an iMac with the latest operating system using a Canon MX892 printer, faint black lines appear every 3/16 of an inch. When I print the same picture using iPhoto there is no problem. Any suggestions?

What is the resolution of the picture that you are trying to print?
Go to Image>resize>image size, read the resolution in px/in, then report back, please.
Also, are you in a position to try printing with another printer in an attempt to narrow this down?

  • I printed an AutoCad drawing to PDF and the PDF looks OK on the screen but when I print the PDF to a printer the text in the drawing is crosshatched with lines and you cant's see the letters, I printed an AutoCad drawing to PDF and the PDF looks OK on the

I need to know why this crosshatching appears over the text when I print the PDF

If you use the same Adobe Reader versions with the same PDF on Windows 7 and XP, then I would expect the outcome to be the same.
Is this a local or online PDF?
If local, is the file really exactly the same?
    If online, in what browser?

In Numbers, I copied a worksheet and deleted the contents. The sheet I copied has a header.  I can't see it or bring it up when I'm working but it appears when I print the sheet. How do I delete the header?

    Hi Cristina,
Headers are not shown in normal view.
Menu > File > Print to open Print View.
Hover the cursor over the Header to see the outline. Click and delete.

  • Using Pages - Images disappear when not on the 'paper' part of display

using pages for a poster design - need to 'park' some images not on the page itself but to the side - when moved off the 'paper' disappear - just left with the 'outline indicators' - how can I keep the image visible whilst not on the 'page' I'm setting out?

    Rod,
To simulate that behavior in Pages, open a blank Page Layout document and arrange the new document window to the side of your working document. To "park" a graphic, select and Command-X in the working document and Command-V in the "parking lot" documemt.
