I tried a:hove, a:link, a:visited, and a:active and checked no decoration in css rule but my linked image still has border

When I add a link to an image it stops aligning with text

I have my icon vertically aligned perfectly with a line of text right after it, but when I add a link to the icon, the text moves to the top of the image (not above it, but just aligned to the top of the image so it isn't centered vertically anymore). I am not changing anything but adding the link. I have had this issue before and wasn't able to fix it....

If you created your page from a Dreamweaver template, I am not surprised that it set images up to display: block; Here is what that does:
The element is displayed as a block element (like paragraphs and headers). A block element has some whitespace above and below it and does not tolerate any HTML elements next to it
You could also (if you want to have whitespace above and below image elements) try display: inline-block; Here is what that does:
The element is placed as an inline element (on the same line as adjacent content), but it behaves as a block element
Remember: display: inline; is the default.

Check the USB port and the USB cable for any kind of lint, debris or bent pins.
Try another, working USB cable.
If still no luck, get it checked by visiting an Authorized Apple Service Provider or contact Apple Support to get it serviced:

When i right-click and select 'view image info', that info box and browser window lock up, have to manually close firefox to reinstate the browser

Images not showing in viewer and browser

I've been using Apreture 2.1.1 without any problems until yesterday. Even though all my projects are in tact, I can no longer see the images in the Aperture viewer and browser. I really don't know how this happened. To rectify the problem I did the following:
1. Verified and repaired the Disk using Disk Utility
2. Logged in in Safe mode and did the above
3. Uninstalled Aperture, removed all reference files and re-installed
4. Opened the Library and photos are all intact.
5. Uninstalled Aperture and re-installed the 2.0 version
I did all the above but still have the same issue. Just can't figure out what is wrong here.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

did you dump the preferences and appropriate other files? prior to the reinstall? otherwise if any of those files are bad you'll be installing aperture with the same possibly corrupt files.
your problem sounds like a hard drive or cable issue, have you swapped out cables?
what cable are you using? eSATA? FW800?

Why do some images not show on the mobile browser but do on the normal Firefox

I have an HTC desire hd. I have had a site built.
the images don't show on the mobile browser. when using the standard browser which came with the phone 'internet' it works fine. is there a reason for this?

Double check your iPod's sync settings from under it's TV Shows tab in iTunes. Make sure it is not set up to sync only unwatched episodes.

If the name stays the same and you only need to change (update) the stored password then fill the name in the login form and let Firefox fill the wrong password.
You may have to press the Tab key to fill the password field with the old password.
If you replace the wrong password with the new password then Firefox should offer to store the new password via the bar at the top.
* Use the Remember Password bookmarklet on websites that use "autocomplete=off" to prevent Firefox from saving passwords.
* Verify that Firefox has stored the new password: Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
If that didn't work then remove that name and password in the Password Manager and Firefox should offer to save the new password on the next visit or after reloading the log in page.<br />

I have added an Image Item to a page and want to be able to add a link to that image but dont see any where you can put the link in the Image Item properties

One easy way to do this would be to add an image page, upload your image to the page, then create an html portlet with the appropriate tags to refer to the image and your link.

If I put the same link on the first page, and I save it in PDF, it works... So, it works only if I put the link on the first page, but on other pages not.

Apple has removed over 100 features from Pages 5.

I have created RRI between two reports and the type is web template/WAD.
My requirement is to show the variable screen of target report when clicked on direct link and it should not show the var. screen if it goes from jump/go to.
while currently I can not see var. screen on both the places and when switching the var. scree. display on in web template , it shows the screen at both the places.
Please suggest.

Did you try using such a variable? What kind of a problem do you face? I am sorry I am still trying to understand your problem. I am just saying that which variable you use is not important for the first query. Only in the second query, add a variable with ready for input (I am not sure why the other doesn't work, I just tried and it gave an error, that's why I suggest this) and in RRI connection make the assignment with this variable. Please try this and let me know the result.

Upgraded to 11.1.4.62. Now iTunes is saying "An iPod has been detected, but could not be identified properly. Disconnect then reconnect ..." I removed iTunes and reinstalled. I stopped and started the service. I reset the iPod. When I put it in disk

I upgraded to 11.1.14.62 this morning. Not iTunes is saying "An iPod had been detected but could not be identified properly". I unlugged/replugged in. I reset the iPod, I removed iTunes and reinstalled. I'ver tried three different cables.
When I put the iPod in disk mode it shows up briefly as a disk then goes away.
Any ideas?

Hi there - I've spoken with Apple and here is their response (worked for me). You need to uninstall not only iTunes, but also (in this order):
1) iTunes
2) Apple Software Update
3) Apple Mobile Device Support
4) Bonjour
5) Apple Application Support
Then you restart your computer.
Then you install the latest version of iTunes (which will reinstall all those things you uninstalled).
Then you restart your computer again.
Mine is working perfectly again now.

Images some old loading new imported images not showing

I am working with cs4 /windows. I can not get new images to show. When designing the page and importing the images it shows. When "putting" publishing it does not show.
The only thing I could see as a problem would be old (very) server?.
I left some images that were on the server to begin with and they show up. The newly added images do not.
