When I record something where does it go?
Hi, I hope you can help. I have made a recording of an interview and now I want to cut it up into the pieces i prefer, I made one long recording and I want to create a number of seperate interviews out of it. I know how to cut a region, and how to rename it, but if I want to open up a new project to cut together interview 2 where on my hard drive do I find my recordings?
Aside from copying a "file: or region, closing the project, opening the new project and pasting the region I want in, and then closing the project, opening the other on and repeating is there a better option? The media browser only shows me itunes, iphoto and garageband, but within all this I don't see my recordings, and their associated remnamed bits. Where are they stored on my computer??

The simplest solution would be to just Send to iTunes and then just drop the resulting file into each project you wanted.
You could also do several Save As operations.
Personally, I'd go with the Copy/Paste method (followed by a Save As Archive).
The actual recordings are stored within the project file you created. I recommend against messing with the project package (and if you don't know how to access the contents of an OS X package I even more strongly suggest that you don't)

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Where does iphone backup when hooked to mac
When I plug my iphone into my Mac. It automatically backups up when iTunes launches. Where does it backup to and can I turn this off?
Just to 'Help' and not to 'Bash', my personal experiences are that having backups enabled (both in iCloud and on my Mac) is a VERY secure and safe set of options, even if I have to select each option independently in order to benefit from both!
Having had a Mac failure and a 'connected device' failure in succession, I've been able to recover both from backups (including a Time Capsule in the mix) without ANY data-loss, solely because of having adequate backups in the 'Apple' world linked to my AppleID.
I have friends who think that Apple has some 'other' motive for backups: something to do with spying on individuals (or other mistaken reasoning).
Someone said "Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean that they're not out to get you!", but who is SO important that Apple would waste their time using their SERVICES to HARM any individual by spying on them? If an individual is worried about 'others' having access to Apple, then perhaps that individual needs to think more about their possibly 'questionable' activities which might make that individual a target for the 'others' about whom they are so concerned?
To me, if a company offers a service and breaks its own rules surrounding that service then SUE THEM FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL!! Otherwise, use the service, wisely, for your own benefit! -
Where does the file path get reported from?
When looking at ZAM software information, it'll show the product name and then like:

Whenever I record something there's NO SOUND.

1. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
2. Drag the slider to turn off iPad.
3. Turn iPad back on, hold down the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears
(B) Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Where does iWeb save my site ?
Ok i am confused. Where does iWeb stored my web site ? And when it publishes it where does it copy it to ? What folders ?

David.Yes, all sites you create in iWeb are saved in the Domain file.
You have the choice to publish your site EITHER to a .Mac account (iDisk) OR to a local hard drive folder (for later upload to a web server). If you publish to .Mac, you won't find the site published anywhere on your hard drive.
(Of course, you can do both--but not at the same time. You could ostensibly publish first to .Mac, then do another "publish" to the hard drive.)

Monitor audio input when NOT recording?
I've just bought my first mac along with Logic Studio in preperation for my Sound Technology university course in September. I'm used to using Logic 7 in college, so Logic 8's taking me some time to get used to. Basically, I'm trying to record a guitar part and can't figure out for the life of me how to monitor the audio input in realtime.
"Software Monitoring" is ticked in the core audio settings, and I can hear myself in realtime when I'm recording, but only when I'm recording. Also, the tuner is not picking up my guitar when not recording, however it does when I am recording.

Hi, I have a Power Book G4 Tiger 10.4.11 and my problem concerns iTunes 9.2.1(5). I have changed my Apple ID and password recently. Since that, I am told, only when I try to buy something in iTunes Store, that my "session has expired". Where does this come from? What should I do to solve this problem ? When you download iTunes material, does iTunes record the IP used where it is being downloaded to? I am trying to track a lost/missing IPOD Touch and want to know if they have that data. It was left on a small street and someone has found it and has been hacking into my account by resetting my password. They took about 41+ dollars from my account. I am hoping the IP it was connecting with to download to it was tracked and that I can get that information to figure out where it is located.

Frankly, Safari has become a forgotten app for me since I downloaded iCab Mobile months and months ago, and when I was last using Safari as my browser, I thought that only PDf files and photos saved from websites were the only files that you could download with Safari.
However, I could be wrong about that as well - it really has been ages since I've used Safari - other than when a link is included in an email and I need to tap on the link.

When I try to record something it reverts to camera 1 and says "no camera found"
I have just set up my webcam (Logitech QuickCam 9000) and I can see myself in the preview window of VC 3. In the setup menue, it indicates camera 1 as Camtasia Studio and camera 2 as the webcam. I set the input device to camera 2, but when I try to record something it reverts to camera 1 and says "no camera found". What am I doing wrong?

I am not doing summation myself. My m_amount field is calculated field set at design time.
Summary detail block is E_detail and summary field is ed_amount.
Only after saving form, the new value for eh_amount is seen.
what i want is eh_amount should be seen updated, if while entering i delete any detail record.
in when-remove-record i am storing m_amount in eh_amount, but the new value of eh_amount
is visible only after saving the form and not when any record is deleted. -

Where does your copy go to ? It's no where to be found when you push copy
It is copied to the clipboard waiting to be pasted, but the clipboard is invisible on the iPad.
But just like on a computer, if you copy something else before the last image, or text has been pasted, the older image or copy is replaced on the clipboard by what you just copied.
