When I render a video in photoshop, the video contains unwanted text

The text at the bottom looks like thismy export settings look like this, what am i doing to make that unwanted text appear in my mp4 video file?

This has nothing to do with PS. This is simply VLC's file info overlay. Turn it off in the VLC prefs.

When I render my video I get a black bar on the left side of the screen

I just upgraded to FCS 2 and so far it's been a complete waste of money. I'm having nothing but problems with FCP, Compressor, and QMaster. I will just post my FCP problem here.
I've edited a weekly video podcast and everything looks great, until I render it and export it. When I render it, I get a constant, solid black bar on the far left of the video that takes up about 5% of the screen. My layers are definitely sized correctly to fill up the entire canvas, and they are all centered. I cannot figure out why I am getting this black bar or how to get rid of it without ditching the upgrade and going back to FCP5.1.
I have already tried completely uninstalling the FCS suite and reinstalling. No luck. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

My original source material is in Apple Intermediate Codec, with 32-bit float audio and a variable frame rate. This has not been friendly to FCP, so I use Quicktime to convert it to Apple ProRes with 24-bit audio and 29.97 frame rate. This is what I import into FCP.
My sequence settings are set to the same specs as my source material. 854x480, square pixels, no field dominance, Apple ProRes compression.
The black bar on the left side of the screen shows up before I even export. It shows up when I render everything.
I am exporting with Quicktime Conversion to:
MP4
h.264 codec
720x405
1000 video bit rate
Main Profile
No cropping/filters or anything.
The ONLY thing I did different before upgrading to FCP6 was that I used Apple Intermediate Codec all the way through. I was told by an FCP instructor that writes and publishes all kinds of FCP training material that I should upgrade to FCP6 and use the Apple ProRes422 Codec instead, so that's what I'm trying to do.
I am going back to restart my project using Apple Intermediate Codec all the way through like I used to, but it will be awhile before I can tell if that solved the problem. Either way, I would like to be using the ProRes codec....

When i save a file on Photoshop the color turns darker.

I have CS6 and when i am working on Photoshop the color is fine and everything shows up how i want. Although when i save the file to a .jpeg the color drastically darkens to a point all my lighter details are lost. I tried emailing the .jpeg and .psd to another computer in my house and it works fine on them.My color settings currently are set to North America General Purpose 2 with sRGB selected. Past this point i don't really know what to try, if anyone has any suggestions on how to resolve this issue fire away please.

Photoshop is a color managed application, and uses icc profiles to maintain color appearance over a broad range of scenarios. This includes both a document profile and a display profile.
Many other applications are not, and all bets are off there unless you take specific precautions. So the question is, what application are you viewing the saved jpegs in outside of Photoshop?
A screenshot showing the two side by side would help pinpoint the exact issue here.

When I render my video in HD there is a black border around it

It seems that the aspect ration is wrong on project set up?
I found out the this can be adjusted in Youtube when I upload the video by adding some code to the tag in the video which changes the video to a 16:9 aspect ratio.
How can I make sure my HD render is the equivalent of 16:9 aspect ratio?
I noticed that the project with the border around it was set to AVCHD Lite 720p24 does this have anything to do with my problem? I was planned on trying HDV 1080i30 setting.

When i save to jpeg on photoshop the colors are dulled out and "depth" is lost (screen caps)

i am so frustrated i have been working with images about 27in wide and ever since every time i save an image the colros are washed out i can attach any information needed evevn pass on the psd its self pelase help!
Rite is photoshop file left is jpeg colors and deph gone
bottom is psd file on photoshop top is jpeg

so i set the color profile to sRGB IEC61966-2.1
and assigned the color profile to the image to no avail
here are my resolution setting and the profile i applied to the image.

When I open multiple photos into Photoshop, the program defaults these photos to only the file name across the view panel. I wish to see them all in thumbnail under the main view area. How do I do this, please

Instead of opening all of them, open the largest one (if that is the canvas size you want to use) then File>Place the remaining images.

Blank message when I send a video via a text message

I got a replacement iPhone 4s last week. Whenever I try and send a video (shot using the phone) via text message, the recipient (who uses an iPhone) gets a blank message, but are able to get pictures? Do I need to check certain settings?

I would say the carrier is compressing the file to send. Since the two of you are on Verizon, they might not do it on their system, but when they cross systems, (AT&T) they compress for reducing bandwidth. Why don't you send via iMessage?

When importing photos, iPhoto now says that the disk containing my iPhoto library is running low on space. what is the best thing to do?

is it best to purchase external hardrive to store my photos?

You don't have a choice and you're in a very dangerous situation.
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
To move an iPhoto Library:
Make sure the drive is formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
And don't forget you'll need another disk for backing up.

I am not able to restore my shuffle(2nd gen) . When ever I tryr, it says that the device contains files that are open in some other application. It does not play any song and the shuffle has 50 percent "other files."

I tried downloading reset utilities but it keeps on saying it is for 32 bit(I have Windows 7). Please HELP

The reset utility only works with Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
As for the files in use by another application, try rebooting the PC and iPod Shuffle and attempt to restore it again. Also make sure the "Enable Disk Use option is NOT ticked from under the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes.

The html container doesn't change size according to the width of the website, but instead the width of the window.

As stated. The html container doesn't change to match the content on the website (like Internet Explorer does), it changes to match the screen size. That way, when you scroll horizontally, elements disappear because the html container is the size of the screen and in a fixed position.

What version of Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system is it running? It will not influence my answer but will give me information in case I need to get into version specifics to detail my answer further.
Timeline rendering is a preview matter. It does not fix anything, but it is your window of opportunity to catch of problem sooner than latter. If the Timeline rendering indicator displays orange (11 or higher) for the line above the Timeline content, that is the project telling you that you are not getting the best possible preview of the playback of that content in the Edit area monitor. And, every time you edit a file, you have altered the file from the time before. So, if you want to see the best possible for what you now have, you Timeline render. This is particularly helpful when you are dealing with titles, effects, transitions, and non native formats. You cannot turn off the Timeline render indicator system, at least none that I have ever found nor seen reported. You can do selective Timeline rendering by having the gray tabs of the Work Area Bar span only the Timeline segment that you want Timeline rendered.
Consequently, you either ignore the Timeline render indicator system, move on in the project, and take your chances in the outcome or you Timeline render to get your best possible preview if the Timeline render indicator is suggesting that you do so.
I am not approving or disapproving of this project feature, just commenting on the what is.

Add On...it is also possible to do Timeline rendering in a project, save close the project, and reopen it to find your previously "green" lined content now "orange", indicating unrendered. Yet the preview files generated originally by Timeline rendering are still existing in their hard drive save location. That is another story for other time.

My first two thoughts
• Shared to Media Browser - BUT as Large or HD - try Medium !
• audio from iTunes - use to go silent
- in iTunes
- Create a new PlayList with needed audio
- BURN this as a standard Audio-CD (.aiff) - NOT .mp3
- use the files on this CD in Your Movie project - I ALWAYS DO - and only use .aiff ever - never .mp3'
My notes on this:
No audio on DVD disc.
Most common origin.
1. Imported audio from iTunes.
• In iTunes copy out as an Audio-CD .aiff (Same as played on standard Stereo CD - no .mp3)
• Use this in Your movie project
2. Low - Free Space on Start-up/Boot/Internal/Mac OS Hard disk makes it hard for iMovie to work as intended.
Down to 1.3 GB and it doesn’t work - especially audio don’t migrate over to Media Browser
(iM’08 & 09)
3. Material in iMovie’08 & 09 - Shared to Media Browser and here selected as Large
large.m4v. It silenced out this project in iDVD. By making a slight alteration - provoking it to ask for a new Share/Publish to Media Browser and here selecting 640x480 - and audio was back when a new iDVD project was created including this movie.
Minuscular - - 176x144

Large - - - - - - 720x540 960x540

4. Strange audio formats like .mp3, .avi etc.
• Change them to .aiff. Use an audio editor like Audacity (free)

Had the same problem; some Googling around gave me a kludgy, but effective fix
Downgrade Perian from recent versions back to version 1.0.
That worked for me, and so far I haven't encountered any deficiencies — except it takes more advanced versions of Perian to enable QuickTime to handle subtitles in .srt format — that I have noticed.
7. GarageBand fix.
In this set audio to 44.1 kHz (Klaus1 suggestion)
(if this don’t work try 48 kHz - me guessing)
Before burning the DVD.
• Do a DiskImage (File menu and down)
• Double click on the .img file
• Test it with Apple DVD-player
If it’s OK then make Your DVD.
Burn at x1 speed.... (or x4)
• In iDVD 08 - or - 09
• Burn from DiskImage with Apple’s Disk Utilities application
• OR burn with Roxio Toast™ if You got it
