When i reply to a group text it only shows one recipient and says "failed to send"
I receive a text from a group thread I've been in for ears, when I open the text and respond, it only shows one of the members in the "to" line and then wont let me send any messages. any ideas? Also, if I'm typing a text and I get another text the whole keyboard locks and goes black until the text notification goes away. is this supposed to happen?

According to Macworld it is a lowest common denominator situation. If any of the people on your list are not iMessage people then all the messages go out SMS and will count against your messages from your provider. Bummer IMHO, but that is the way it is.

Is the Palm Pre not capable of sending a text message to more than one recipient? I just tried this, and my message just disappeared after I hit "send" and never went out.

I frequently text to more than one recipient without issues. The only thing I can't figure out is, how to add a recipient when replying to an existing text. In other words, when I start new, I can type in the names of as many recipients as I want (typically my wife and two kids) and it works fine. But when my son sends me a text and I want to send him a reply but add my wife as a recipient, I can't do that.

My mac desktop will not provide sound from internal speakers. When I go to audio devices window it only shows airplay. How can I get internal speakers back.
There are many possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Some may not apply to your model. Back up all data before making any changes.
1. Start with the steps recommended in this support article. Don't skip any of the steps. It's the starting point for further efforts to solve the problem.
2. Run Software Update and make sure you have a fully up-to-date installation of OS X.
3. If you've installed an application called "Memory Clean" or any other third-party software that is supposed to "clean" or "purge" memory automatically, remove it according to the developer's instructions and restart. You should do that even if the software is not causing the problem, because it's useless.
4. Other third-party software that has been reported to interfere with sound output includes "Boom" and "Samsung Kies." If applicable, uninstall according to the developer's instructions (not by dragging something to the Trash.)
5. If an AirPlay device is selected for sound output from iTunes (or from other applications via third-party software such as "Airfoil"), deselect it.
6. Launch the application "Audio MIDI Setup" by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search and selecting it in the results (it should be at the top.) Select Built-in Output from the list on the left. If the Mute boxes are checked, uncheck them.
7. If a red light is visible in the audio-out port when sound should be playing, the internal switch is stuck in the position for digital output. You may be able to free it by inserting and removing a mini-stereo jack of the proper size. Inserting any kind of tool in the port may cause damage that won't be covered by your warranty.
If there's no red light, the switch may still be stuck in the headphone position. Try to free it the same way.
8. Disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard and mouse, if applicable. If more than one display is connected, disconnect all extra ones. Restart and test.
9. If you have a MacBook Air, turn off Bluetooth and restart.
10. Start up in safe mode. Don't log in; just restart as usual when the login screen appears. When you do, make sure the words "Safe Boot" do not appear in the login screen. If they do, the system is still in safe mode and sound won't work.
11. Reset the NVRAM.
12. Reset the SMC.
13. Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
/Library/Preferences/Audio
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password. Restart the computer and empty the Trash. Recreate your settings in the Sound preference pane.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
14. Reinstall OS X after backing up all data.

Please check whether more than one number range is maintained in transaction code FBCJC1. If yes, please keep only one as Cash Journal has only one number range. This is the internal number range for Cash Journal.
If you want different number range for accounting documents then create new document types and assign number ranges to it.

I would first try unplugging All the USB devices plugged into your computer, and then plug back in just the iPhone and see if that is recognized. Also, do you have the latest version of iTunes for Windows installed on your PC, as you need to?

I've upgraded my pc and now Im getting an error message when Im trying to sync my ipod saying I have two itunes libraries. The library thats there is only showing some songs and it's not uploading songs Ive just bought.
You seem to have tried everything, and you say it's syncing fine on your Dad's iMac, so I assume, you have also done a Disk Diagnostic from an earlier post by tt2 and conclude that your iPod Hardisk is good.
You don't have to use it as a heavy paperweight, the problem is only using your Windows 7 machine for syncing.
In your troubleshooting steps, did you try to use another High-Speed USB 2.0 port, USB controller resource are very scarce, so if you use other USB devices, while syncing your iPod, it may just freeze.
Windows have a bad reputation for device conflict, so better don't connect other USB devices, while syncing, better sync it while disconnected from Internet, stop antivirus just before you go to bed.

I just got my a new iphone 4 from O2. i plugged in my phone to my computer(windows 7). itunes doesnt open automatically. when i opened the itunes,its still not detecting my phone. on the phone it only shows the cable and itunes logo. please help

When creating a PDF from the scanner, it only scans one side. I am using a fi-7160 that supports scanning both sides at once. The Scanner software is configured to scan both sides, and so are the presets in Adobe Acrobat Pro. I've only gotten the setting to work with the Custom Scan setting. Has anyone else had this problem, and what is the solution?
Additionally, the software bundled with the scanner with automatically omit the back sides of a page if it is blank. I am scanning large files with occasional double sided pages. Is there a way to avoid having to manually delete blank pages when creating a new PDF from the scanner? It takes twice as long because I'm using the OCR stabilization.Hi anne,
Could you please let me know what Acrobat and OS version are you using.
Does this happen in case of any particular PDF or all PDF files?
Try repairing Acrobat and then again check.

Only showing one case of group 2
I have group1 as Department and group2 as order type. I am trying to show simple thing like this.Sum of order amts by order type but this is what is displaying:
Dept Ordertype
Medals $100
Schools $100
Trophy Internet

but only shows the first order type
the problem is only shows one order type only for 1 of the departments, the last one. but all departments have many order types.

when importing files into fcpx from go pro hero2, some are importing as .mov and some as .mp4. when making a multi cam clip it will only add one type, if you try and add the other it says camera clip cannot be processed. need to figure out why it randomly imports differently, or how to add different file tyoes to multi cam.
here is one that is imported and stays .mp4. the specs are same as original file before import.
here is one that has changed somehow during import. specs on original file are same as above, but once it is imported it changes to this in event folder, and others randomly keep the above specs. -
