Hei. I have a problem. Our phone/ E75/ went to peaces, but before that we made back up copy to Ovi PS Suite. Computer went broken, but we got everything to hard disk-Mobile Backup- external data storage. I download Noki to computer. I started to move contacts from G-hard disk to C-hard disk by Noki program. It showing that its 448 contacts. But it came only 50. What ever i am trying, i cannot get any more. I am not professional with software and computer work. maybe somebody can explane easy way, how to get contacts from that hard disk G to hard disk C, or even straight to new phone. New phone model is N97. Thank You a lot.

Does the problem occur in both Camera and Photo Booth Apps? If you run the FaceTime App, does the front camera work?
If the front camera never works, you may have a defective iPad. If you are near an Apple company store, the Apple Store Genius can verify the problem, and may replace it on the spot.
If the front camera works for at least one App, try rebooting the iPad. Hold down both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. After a couple of minutes, the iPad will restart. Rebooting will not hurt anything, and may correct your problem.

FireWire drive unmounting/disapering when computer returns from sleep

I have a problem since the latest software update 10.4.10
that my WD 500GB FW800 drive keeps unmounting/disapearing after
the computer returns from sleep, and subsequently issuing a unclean unmount message!
Toggling the drive power restores it and so far no data is lost... I hope..

Well, yesterday I decided to do some troubleshooting to confirm the source of the problem. I connected a different external hard drive using the same USB2 cable that I was using with the problematic WD Mybook. I performed flawlessly and showed no issues with not being accessable after the computer woke from sleep. Next I connected the same drive via Firewire 400. Also no issues. That seemed to confirm that there was a problem with the WD drive! However, just to be sure, I reconected the WD Mybook with the original USB cable and gave it another whirl. It has also been performing flawlessly for the past day!
Possibilities:
1 There was minor oxidation on the contacts of the cable or in the drive socket which gave a poor connection resulting in the problem. Removing and replacing the cable several times removed the oxide and restored proper electrical contact and drive operation.
2 Something in the WD Mybook firmware "reset" when it was unpowered for a few hours, also restoring proper operation. WD's website states that the Mybooks are able to remain in standby mode for long periods of time but that they recommend they be powered down when not in use.
It would be interesting to see if anyone else can confirm that their Mybooks begin to operate properly after "giving them an unpowered rest" or by cleaning the USB connections.
I know how to keep my Mybook operational for now, but I will likely have to ditch it when I move to a multi FW bus computer in the future (unless WD can correct their firmware).

How do I get my phone back up running when the restore from back-up cannot be performed due to an error?

I attempted to update my software on my iphone 4. The screen now says either set up as a new iphone or restore from back-up. Each time I choose run back-up and press continue it tells me "itunes could not restore the iphone "Sarah's iphone" because an error occured.

That's literally all it said "the back-up could not be restored because an error occured".
Anyway I did the old trick of shutting down the pc, rebooting & trying again.
Then once phone connected & iTunes up it stated my software was up-to-date but the phone was still fairly empty. Then my husband had a look & sorted it all out. Not sure exactly how.

Recovering missing tracks from back up copy

Somewhere along the line I stuffed up & I now find that I have many more tracks loaded onto my iPOD than I have in my itunes library. I must have deleted them somehow when I was trying to update the album art by cutting & pasting. What I do have is a duplicate copy of my entire 'My Music' folder that I made a couple of months back.
I'm pretty sure that I could set itunes to look for & import songs not in my current library. What I'm worried about is that I noticed that itunes is very poor when it comes to warning you about duplicate files. Is there some easy way to recover these files from the old backup without getting everything duplicated? I should point out that all the music came from my old CD's & isn't copy protected if that makes any difference.

Here's what I would do.
Go to your backup copy of your iTunes folder. Copy the missing file you notice per CD and put back in your main iTunes library (on your hard drive).
Then open iTunes and click & drag the file over into iTunes... It will reindex it and then sync on next connection.
Is that clear? To reitterate a different way
1 - Find the backup file missing
2 - Copy the music file back into your real itunes folder
3 - Click & drag this file back over your iTunes window
4 - let iTunes reindex
5 - connect ipod

Photoshop freezes when i return from illustrator with vector on clipboard

if i copy something in illustrator and switch to photoshop, photoshop freezes. if i switch back to illustrator, it's frozen too.
this is a fresh install of CC on a new Lenovo desktop (Windows 8, 64bit, 16GB RAM, quad 3.1 GHz).
i did this four times this morning with black and alpha gradient vectors i wanted to make into ps brushes that came in about 500px square.
three times, i moved over to a browser to research the issue, returned to photoshop 5-10 minutes later and it worked fine. i sat and waited in photoshop for three minutes once before giving up.
anyone ever seen anything like this?

When I return from a screen saver or a program that uses the whole screen, firefox 4b7 returns a black screen.

Any time the computer is left for a long duration of time (powers off monitors or goes into screen saver) firefox returns black and must be closed.
The same problem occurs when using a program that goes into full screen (game, etc.)

You can try to disable hardware acceleration.<br />
Tools > Options > Advanced : General: Browsing: [ ] "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Why is Firefox painfully slow/unresponsice when I return from a website to a search list?

If I do a search, and open a website off the search results in Firefox, then close the website to return to the list, Firefox is completely unresponsive for a period - won't return to the pointing hand, just an arrow, which does nothing. It has been like this for a while. I thought it might be Kaspersky 2013, but switching it off makes little difference. It is so slow that it makes Firefox almost unusable.

I have uninstalled Kaspersky (licence expired now anyway) and installed Norton. It is not so bad as when Kaspersky was in use, but is still slow.

ALV grid refresh problem when I return from list-processing

I have made alv grid with f4 help features and i'm using row select feature.
When i click on a button in Application toolbar, the program leaves to list processing and then return to alv gridscreen.
Now the problem arises.
(1)Even if i select rows and press F8, the program does not identify the rows selected and does not give me desired output.
(2)Also, when i press F4, the selected value does not appear in the text field.
Both the cases are working fine, if i dont press button and go to list processing.
Please help!!

It must be in the Cache from Safari.
Open Safari browser and select from the menu bar in Safari "Empty Cache" than reload Safari.
When this is not working than "Reset Safari" be care full, don't reset the Cookies, this file contains the web log-ins that you saved.

My i phone 4 when recieving texts from i phone 4s contacts only shows their phone number not contact name.. why?

This is strange, but a lot of strange things can happen with the phone when data or code get corrupted. Did you look at your contacts to see if they aren't corrupted or duplicated?
I suggest trying the usual troubleshooting steps as needed to clear the problem:
1. Reset phone - press home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears.
2. Restore phone in iTunes using a backup.
3. Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
4. Restore as a new iPhone.

HP 250 G3 can not connect to modem when it returns from sleep

Hi, Ralink RT3290 Wifi adapter driver is loaded on my HP 250 G3. I can connect modem and internet. I can download and upload data from internet properly. However, if I put my PC on sleep, after waking up, PC cannot connect to modem. At every turn, to solve this problem, I turn off and turn on wireles adapter. Then, PC can connect modem and work properly. How can I solve this problem. Is there any problem on my wifi driver or something else? Please help me.

I've had that on my Late 2007 MBP since Day One but the delay is usually only seconds--no more that three on a bad day.
I think its to do with waking from sleep. The standard sleep mode in the MBP is :Safe Sleep" where the computer writes the contents of RAM to the hard drove before sleeping as a safety net against the battery running dry while the computer sleeps. If the computer has to read this spot of info before completely awaking.
When I first purchased my MacBook Pro, a month ago, it would connect immediately upon waking from sleep. Now, for some unknown reason, it will not
That could be the result of now having more to write before sleep than when the computer was new because it's been in use a while and had other software added. For a test, see if the delay is reduced if you quit all open apps before sleep.
Having DashBoard active could also be a contibutor becasue many widgets have to "phone phone" for updates and could be preempting the connection opening for regular use. I use this widget:

to shut down Dashboard without having to restart the computer. It's a carry-over from the old days of slower computers and expensive RAM but i find it still useful. This does not harm Dashboard or make if unavailable later. It 's basically the "off switch" that DashBoard should have been granted.
If, after quitting active programs and Dashboard, the delay is still more than a few seconds, then something else is at play. As the computer is new and under warranty, I would let an Apple Store look at it.
