When I right click on a page to send the page link to someone the link's not inserted in the mail page.

Not really anything more to add to the problem. It's just that simple. Right click on page, choose 'send link' and the mail page that comes up (in Thunderbird) doesn't contain the link as it always did in previous versions. I have to copy and paste the link which makes the right click useless.

You can middle-click a link to open the link in a new tab.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

When I right click and "Search Google for ____" the resulting google search comes up in a new tab AND the current tab

Right click google search used to open only in a new tab. Now it opens in a new tab and after a moment, the current tab also.
Any ideas?

When I right click on any page the menu won't appear properly and some times the whole menu won't even appear. And on the bottom of firefox there is an extra bar which just appeared and won't go away.

The menu has trouble appearing properly, and sometimes doesn't appear at all.

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

Is your new tab page set to about:blank? You can change this from the about:config page or you can restore defaults by resetting Firefox.

Customizing items on right click of a page in siteadmin

Hi,
We have a requirement where we want to show users a "prompt" when user right clicks on a page and selects any of the items. Please see the attached snapshot on what i am talking about.
I want something similar to what is prompted when someone clicks on delete and i want it on click of the activate button. Basically i want to ask the user - "are you sure you want to activate".
has anyone done this before. Can you please advice how this can be achieved?

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

It is a new feature in Firefox 11+ versions to display a single image centered with an almost black background.

Why does it load forever when I right click in pages 09?

When I am typing a text and then decide to right click in it for example : when I want to see the suggest correction of a word, it just starts to load forever, you know with the little ball spinning whith rainbow colors. It's just annoying because I have to restart the app every time it happens and it happens a often (like every single time I right click). Please help !

I found what was going on ... my mistake ... I am using Antidote an app that I use to crrect my french and this app was not up to date, so it was freezing iwork every single time that I try to make a right click (which is use to correct the words)

When I right click, I can't copy or spell check or open a tab in a new window.

When I right click on a picture, it doesn't give me the option to copy or to view in another tab as a separate image from the web page it is on. I no longer have the option to spell check. When I highlight text to copy, it doesn't give me an option to copy it but only says "copy link location". When I right click a link or pull down the new menu in Firfox 4 it twitches and disappears. What's the fix for this?

I downloaded and installed the new Firefox4 yesterday and when I right click links to open them in a new tab or copy something it will blink on and off (twitch) then disappear. I can still click where I saw the option and it'll work, but it's really annoying.
The pull down Firefox tab where the save as buttons, new tab, bookmarks and all that jazz does the same thing.
It's REALLY frustrating.

I had this problem and resolved it by going to
Options> Advanced Tab> General (on the same page) and unticking "use auto scrolling".
You can leave smooth scrolling on however :)

If you right-click the image and choose View Image Info, what shows as "Type"?
If it shows JPEG image, for example, make sure to save the file with a .jpg file extension. If you place quotation marks around the entire file name, e.g.,
"myfile.jpg"
then you can ensure that the name as the correct extension. Does that help?

Firefox crashes when I right click then click on "Send Link"

When I right click to send a link to the page I am on via Thunderbird, then click on 'Send Link' Firefox crashes. This is using Windows 7 home edition, on this computer. My first post was on another computer and I am using 7.0.1 on this one that crashes as described above.

Setting up mouse to right click delete a page?

After reinstalling Acrobat 9, I no longer have the option to delete an individual page when I right click on the mouse. Is there a way to set this up again?

As George alluded to - you'd do this from within the Pages pane.
If the option is not available then the PDF most likely has security applied that precludes this type of change to the file.

New yahoo mail not opening when I right click and choose "Send Link".

When I right click on any web page and choose "Send Link", Yahoo mail asks for password over and over and never opens a new email page.
