When I run my hardware diagnostics I'm getting failures - WDC-WD64-00AAKS-65A7B2 SATA DISK DEVICE.

When I run my hardware diagnostics I'm getting failures - WDC-WD64-00AAKS-65A7B2 SATA DISK DEVICE,
HD535-5W, HD535-3W, HD535-2W.
Thanks!!!

That means exactly what it's telling you, the hard drive has failed or is about to fail and needs replacement.
If the system still runs backup your data and create Recovery DVDs ASAP if you haven't already done so.

  • When i run report through OC4J Application i get a exception message

When i run report through OC4J Application i get a exception message saying Server returning invalid xml and the exception number is JBO -29000. The Reports Server is installed on machine having IP 10.191.99.254.
    Below is the exception message:
(oracle.jbo.JboException) JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.JboException, msg=JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.io.IOException, msg=Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL: http://10.191.99.254:8888/reports/rwservlet/showjobidnull
Anybody Please help me out with this issue.....because I am really fed up with this problem....want some urgent help.....
One possible workaround which I could make out is there needs change to be made in the .rdf files in Report Builder and then inside the User Parameters we change the Initial Value to * from % because the Reports Server encodes every value as %Initial_Value% and hence if the initial value for the parameter is % then it does not get a valid value and hence it returns as an invalid xml
But unfortunately it seems this workaround does not work. Please help as soon as possible.

    Hi,
you said that some changes were made in the .xml files but i had said that all the files present in Reports Developer or Reports Builder are .rdf files and I had made changes in the .rdf files for this articular report and then compiled it thereitself and then ran a paper layout of the report but the report did not comprise any data.
There was sufficient data also to populate the report. So this may not be a database issue. Please help if you can ASAP.

I hit "go online" and almost immediately I get the same message again.  Any ideas?

I am tired of how Yahoo has gotten worse and worse. It is the ONLY account I get problems with DAILY (even after removing and re-adding). AOL will act up once in a while not taking a saved password but accepting it when OK is clicked.... But Yahoo is always responding with such errors.... Today's calendar error is:
The request (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation) for account “Yahoo” failed.

I have installed the new up to date itunes which i can open on my PC, however when i connect my ipad or iphone i get an error saying i cannot use the device as the require software isn't installed?? I'm very confused please help......

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

  • I would like to convert a matlab file into a .dll and use it in LabVIEW. However, when I run the .dll in LabVIEW I get an error stating "... Procedure not found". What could this be? Can anyone help me...

I wish to convert my Matlab files into .dll's so that I can use them in LabVIEW. I am using 'mcc' and 'mbuild' of Matlab to convert my .m files into .c and .dll.
When I try to run the .dll's in LabVIEW, I get an error message in a modal window stating some required .dll or procedure is not found.
How should I resolve this issue. Should I add any other Matlab .dll's in course of making my .dll?
Please help in solving this issue... Thankyou very much.

  • I can't seem to run a hardware diagnostics on my MacBook Pro.

I recently had an issue with the Wi-Fi hardware on my MacBook.  I wasn't able to view any local networks.  Instead, the menu option stated that there was an issue with my wireless hardware.  I resterted my MacBook and the issue persisted.  My computer also went to sleep and I wasn't able to wake it up.  Since then, everything is back to normal and functioning properly.  I searched some articles on the support site on how to run the diagnostics at startup, but holding down the D key doesn't do anything.  I'm currently running the latest version of Mavericks (10.9) and I have a 15-inch, mid 2010 MacBook Pro.  Is there something missing that's causing me not to have the on-board diagnostics available to me?  Is there even a way to check for something liek that?  Any advice is greatly appreciated in advance.

    ChrisJ1927,
with Mid 2010 MacBook Pros, you’ll need to use the Apple Hardware Test that came on the model-specific grey installation DVDs that originally came in the box. The diagnostic tools on the Recovery Partition aren’t usable on MacBook Pros that were originally equipped with Snow Leopard or before.

  • When I run my query (below) I only get 100 rows returned.

I am a little rusty with SQL so I think that I must be doing something simple wrong. Here is the query:
    SELECT Tagname, Value, DateTime
    FROM Insql.Runtime.dbo.AnalogHistory
    WHERE "DateTime" > 'February 26 2014 10:30'
    AND "DateTime" < 'February 26 2014 10:50'
    AND Tagname = 'T0201001'
This is a wonderware plant historical database that collects analog data every 5 seconds.
No matter the time frame, 5 minutes or 5 hours I get back 100 rows of evenly time spaced data.
I went into the query options and edited them to no avail. I am sure that I could calculate how mainy rows I think that I should have and select that number but I assumed the given the date range it would figure that out by itself.

I got the same result running:
    SELECT Tagname, Value, [DateTime]
    FROM Insql.Runtime.dbo.AnalogHistory
    WHERE [DateTime] > 'February 26 2014 10:30'
    AND [DateTime] < 'February 26 2014 12:50'
AND Tagname = 'T0201001'I am running my query from Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio  10.0.2531.0.I have been running this DB since 2000 (obviously in older versions of SQL).The DB was developed out of corporate and we just add tags through the WonderWare InSQL Historianwe can access the data through several trending applications. I was just teying to directly access the datato do some analsys with the raw data. I did check the Query options in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studioand it didn't appear to help. I was assuming that there was some default limitation but could not locate a setting anywhere.

  • When I run the Free exec Download, I get the Windows XP "thud" sound and message "File is corrupt." I downloaded again and got same error.

I am running Windows XP Servicepack 3. I clicked the Free Download, saved it using IE8, and then tried to run it. A couple of seconds after I pressed ENTER on the filename, I got that infamous Windows XP "thud" sound along with the message that the file is corrupt.

Hi knobman- I'm not sure why the file would be corrupt. I would recommend downloading from the official Mozilla site only. You can click this link to get the latest and best version [just select 'Windows' and it should go]:

    Hope that helps!

  • Mac Pro Dual Quad Xeon 2.66, Lion, weird pattern on display, then died.  Won't reboot. Did hardware diagnostics, says no problem.  Video screen still has weird pattern, see apple, spins no boot.  HELP!

Gee...I didn't know I was going to get a whole box to describe the problem.  We took it apart, checked memory, it's ok.  When I pried open the dvd and started from the install disc to run the hardware diagnostics, I pressed d.  It didn't give me a choice about hard discs to start from, I have a snow leopard bootable disc ad a lion bootable disc.  It didn't even see them.
I have work to do! Freakin.
So, it chimes, shows the apple with the pattern all over the screen and it spins, and then you see a progress bar.  it doesn't go any further.

Take the card out and boot the machine.
The hit one of the volume up/down keys on keyboad. If you here the usual sound, it booted.
With any luck you have Screen Sharing enabled and can remotely log in.
But reaching desktop with the card out is pretty much proof that card is gone.

  • Where can I download Apple Hardware Diagnostics for MacBookPro2,1?

My MacBook Pro 17-inch Core 2 Duo (MacBookPro2,1)'s DVD drive appears to be faulty - It treats working DVD's as 'blank'.
I want to run Apple Hardware Diagnostics (AHD) on the machine but (a) I can't find the original DVD for the machine (b) in any event it won't work as the drive is faulty!
I know I can download older versions of AHD at http://www.info.apple.com/support/aht.html but where can I find one for my Mac?
I want to download it and 'restore' it to a hard disc partition so I can boot it from there.
    Any ideas anyone?

Every Mac model has its own components different than any other, and the Apple Hardware Test is unique to each model. A handful of models share one AHT. A pile of them are available for download but are obscured behind a non-obvious naming convention. A partial list is here and here. Unfortunately Apple simply doesn't make it easy to figure out how to restore this.
What I've learned is that pretty much all intel Macs before 10.7 did have AHT preloaded on the drive, found in hidden folder /System/Library/CoreServices/.dianostics. If you reformat the drive and reinstall, this is not reinstalled. And if you encrypt the drive with File Vault 2 it would be unavailable in any case. With 10.7 and newer hardware, the AHT is stuffed into an AHTxx.dmg file and found on the Recovery HD volume, also in a hidden directory. So it can still be used when FV2 encryption is enabled.
Since install disks are gone, I don't actually know how current Mac owners are supposed to get this restored, however also since that time, Apple has moved to firmware that can load the proper version of AHT via option-D on boot with a wired or wireless internet connection. It doesn't permanently download this to disk, the firmware downloads and runs it, and upon reboot it's gone again.
So the gist is, once you've lost the installed version of AHT, you either need the AHT disk that came with your computer or buy one from Apple or go to an Apple store and they'll run it for you. Or you have a newer Mac with firmware that can talk to Apple directly (pretty much anything 2010 and newer) over the internet.

  • Hardware Diagnostics Test doesn't see my network

I have a mid-2010 Macbook Pro that I just purchased, refurbished.  I need to run a hardware diagnostics test on it as I am getting kernel panics after installing Adobe Creative Cloud.
I have confirmed that I have the ability to run this test.  I hit option D at startup as instructed but when I get to the screen to choose my network, Mac doesn't see it.  I even tried a wired ethernet connection and it's not seeing it.
I'm sitting in the same spot in the house as always and I can access wireless just fine when I start up normally.
    Can anyone help?  Thanks!

The AHT is almost completely useless, so you're not missing much. If you want to run it and you don't have the discs, you can order replacements from Apple customer service. You would do better to start a new thread describing the actual problem you have, rather than what you think is causing it or how you think it should be solved.

There seems not to be any '.html' in your url-pattern
<url-pattern>Login</url-pattern>- so i presume you should use
    http://yourhost/Logininstead.

  • I have an app that crashes when I run one function, but no one else I know with the same app experiences the crash.  I checked my Diagnostics

I have an app called Astrogold that crashes when I run one function, but no one else I know with the same app experiences the crash.  The app writes several different reports, and gives the option of sending them as PDF files.  All the other reports generate fine, but one of them....and that one crashes the app while it is trying to generate the report.
Note:  it only crashes the display.  If I double click the home button I see the app itself is still running.
I checked my Diagnostics & Usage data, and noticed that every time the app crashes a LowMemory report is created.  I looked at the LowMemory report and see that the Largest process is Astrogold.  But I don't see any reports with the name of the app itself.
I have an iPhone 5c, and according to iTunes I have 2.25 GB Free.
