When I save a page is that page really saved on my computer?

There are some pages I've saved so I can get at the information later but when I click on that icon (when I'm not on the web) Safari opens and it seems to be opening the page as if it were a hot link. That makes me wonder if I'll have that same information if the page changes.

Note: Unless the images (and other associated files) are stored on your hard drive, you may lose them if the site changes significantly-to avoid that, save the page like this: File>Save As... and choose "Web Archive" rather than "Page Source". (That is the default option, so you're probably fine, but it's still best to make sure). You want the file and a folder associated with it, NOT just a file.

No file size appears when I save a .pages file

When I save a .pages file there is no file size listed in the directory. In the file directory it says only -- where all the other files have a size in KB or MB listed in that column.
What's going on here?
The file can be opened without a problem. And when I right click on the listing and choose Get Info, the file size is there in that pop up window -but not in the listing.
I cannot email this file either -because, I guess, it reads the listing as an empty file.
I can convert it to a .doc file and email that, but as a .pages file I get nothing.
What's going on here?

Which email provider are you using? There are different solutions possible for different providers. Yahoo is having trouble with attachments, outside of any Firefox issue. I've seen a Google user fix this by manually adding the mail URL to their ad block program- which mistakenly perceived the webmail page as an advertisement.

Is it worth 900 dollars for a smartphone that has so many issues ? After 3 updates? After 1 month? I wasted 2 gb of mobile internet cause of ios 8.

same here, iphone 6 plus 64 gb.
additionally in 5 ghz networks the wifi connection is very slow or there is no data transfer possible ( the wifi icon is already there and in a good status) other devices hasn't any problems in that network

Removing songs from iTunes, that are not saved on the computer

Hey guys.
First of all i would like to thank you for reading my post and trying to help.
Anyways, i rent an external harddrive from one of my friends, and he had a huge amount of songs, that i would like to get on my computer. Stupid as i am, i started downloading directly from the harddrive, which result in a lot of songs in my iTunes, that are not saved in the computer, and when i remove the external harddrive from my computer, all the songs cannot play. So after that, i saved them on my computer, and tried getting them into iTunes once again. This has resulted in a double of every songs. Which is quite much.. Are there any ways, that i can do a "Clean-up" and remove all the songs that are not saved on my computer or not working or something like that?

If your previous library was matched on you your computer, you can retrieve your music from itunes match on your computer.
Sign in to match and add your computer. Your library will now show all the music that is in match. You should be able to download all your music back on to your computer.

When I save a pages document as a word document it changes!

I have created a document in pages. When I save as word document, it gets funky! Things shift all over.
Also, when I save as a pdf, many people complain they cannot open it, and if they can, it is illegible.
How do I fix both of these?

Field type TaxonomyFieldTypeMulti is not installed properly when opening Site columns page or saving site as template

I have a site collection which I am moving from a SharePoint 2013 enterprise server to a SharePoint 2013 foundation server. This all seems fine apart from when I try and access the Site columns page (from Site settings) or when I save a Site as a template
- both times I get the error: Field type TaxonomyFieldTypeMulti is not installed properly
If I look in the SharePoint logs I get the following:
Unable to locate the xml-definition for FieldName with FieldId '249a1c1a-5a3e-4173-abad-779b01892510
Any ideas?

I have re-done the migration from Enterprise to Foundation and now get the following error:
Field type RatingCount is not installed properly. Go to the list settings page to delete this field.
However I cannot go to the Site columns page as I get this error so don't see where I can delete this from? Previously I had to delete this field manually from each of the Blog sites but this time there don't
appear to be these fields to delete - I presume because I disabled all the features relating to this premigration?
Any ideas?

Thank you for your question. I do not believe that the proper links have been updated to reference the newly saved file path of the local webpage that you saved.
Can you please check the webpage content that was saved to see if there is an image stored in a folder? They should be. If not, can you please provide an example webpage and I will try it? I tried this webpage and did not have any missing images.

How come, when I save a pages file as a word doc, it automatically hyphenates my text?

I'm a college student trying to write essays for my classes, and my professors all prefer word documents. When I go to export my essays from Pages 5, I have no trouble exporting it and saving it as a word file. However, when I open these files, it shows that all of my text has now been set to automatically hyphenate, and I can't find a way to change it without being forced to resave it as a Pages file. Has anybody else experienced this problem?

Can I save photos from iPad that I edited to my main computer?

If I edit pictures on iPad can I then get them back in the edited for to my main computer. Their seems to be lots of photo apps but don't want the final pics just for my ipad would also want them in my main computer.

you need to verify that the app saves a copy back to the photos library. If it does (as a drawing app for my 4 y/o sone does), you can then open that pic back up after importing from ipad to your chosen photo program.

I synced my Ipod to my parents computer and now about half the apps I had don't show up on the Ipod. They are on the computer, but I can't see them on my Ipod. Yes. Yu have to just ensure that the iPod is signed into the iTunes account(s) that purchased the apps and other stuff and you have iTunes et up to sync the stuff to the iPod. You will loose however, any app data you have.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You'll need to restore the device from the settings menu, when it restarts the set up assistant will prompt you to restore from iCloud or as a new phone.

Save Wikipedia page as complete webpage is NOT complete.

Now before someone think I'm a complete moron, please, I know how to do that: "Save Page As... Web Page, complete". I know exactly how to do that.

I don't know when this exactly happened, i.e. what version of Firefox it occurred, but, now when I save Wikipedia page, it seems Javascript no longer work or saved.
Previously, when I mouse over to citation, it will pop-up a tooltip. Like this:

And when I click a scripted link, it expand or collapse as it should. Like this:

Note that, those image are saved webpages.
But now, they're gone.
The latest known saved webpage that work are dated on May 2013. Like I said before, I don't know which version was that.
Currently I'm using 32.0.3 and as far as I can remember, this problem happens since 29.0.
Last but not least, I think this happens only on Wikipedia. But I don't know either if this problem was Wikipedia's fault.
So.......
How is the workaround?
I really need these Wikipedia features.

It doesn't work for me either in both Firefox and in Google Chrome.
Both only show a link to the notes at the bottom of the pages when I hover such a link and no tooltip.
If it worked before then there has been a change in the page coding.
There is a lot of JavaScript running on the pages and some scripts are loaded via load.php calls and via document.write rules.
