Do you by chance still have Cool Edit installed on that machine? When you installed Audition, did you check the boxes to have it associated with .SES files? I am suspecting that the answer to the first question is 'Yes" or that if it is not still installed, you had a failed automatic uninstall. I am guessing that the answer to the second question is "No" or "I don't remember".
You can manually set the file associations using Windows Explorer and going to "Tools", "Folder Options", "File Types", then find the SES file type and associate it with Audition.exe.

Illustrator CS4 removing artboards when i save and re-open the file

I'm using Illustrator CS4 and have multiple artboards set up in a single .ai file. The problem is when I save the .ai file and then close it, when I reopen the file it removes all instances of my previous artboards and replaces it with a single one. Why is this happening? It just started doing this - I was able to open up the file previously and maintain my current list of artboards.

OSX - When I 'save all' attachments the resultant file name has %20 instead of spaces.

When I choose save all attachments from an Email the attachments are saved in the required directory but all files that have a space in the filename end up with a %20 instead of the space.
eg. attachment received "My new file.pdf" becomes "My%20new%20file.pdf" when saved into a directory.
This does not happen when I save each file individually. Which is my current workaround.
Any thoughts on how to solve this?

I just checked whether it is something to do with Exquilla/Exchange. The problem I am seeing is with Emails to an Exchange account. I just forwarded an Email to another of my Email accounts and when I did 'save all' on the received attachments they saved without the %20. Which gives me another work around but...

Are you running a recent version of Outlook Web App (i.e., Exchange 2010)?

Missing Conref when I save and reopen an .xml file in FM9

I am running FM9 on Windows 7. We have been using the template and rules files shipped with FM9 and modifying them for our needs. Currently I am experiencing an issue and I'm not at all sure how to resolve it.
I have two pieces of DITA content, they are both reference files created by using the DITA menu and creating a new <reference> file. I have entered my structured content into the two files and I want to include a conref from the source document B into my document A. I insert the conref into document A using the FM DITA menu and save both files as .xml. The files save without any errors. When I open document A the conref text is missing and all that is left is a blank reference element (created by the insertion of the conref). If I open the source document everything is fine. I also have an xref in document A and that seems to be working fine. My coworker is having the exact same issue. I am referencing a reference element with an unordered list.
Also, if I save file A as .fm the conref stays which leads me to believe it has something to do with how FrameMaker is reading the .xml file.
Any assistance would be appreciated,

Hi Laura...
If the "auto-load conrefs" option is off, your conrefs will not be rendered. This is "as designed" so that you can disable the conref updating if it's taking too long to rebuild all of the conrefs each time you open a file.. The "auto-load xrefs" option should work the same way, although this may have changed in FM9 since all xrefs are really "fm-xrefs" inside of FM. If the xrefs are rendering the same regardless of the option's setting, then that's a bug (I'd think).
So .. with the auto-load option enabled, your conrefs are working?

I started a new project with BI Publisher integrated with OBIEE, I builded a set of reports that are working properly (these are the first reports on this OBIEE/BIP server)
Accessing Oracle BI Cataloge I can run the reports and change the output format to pdf.
when I press the right mouse button and select "save as" a dialog box appears.
On the "File name" field, the default name that BIP writes is "xdo" I would like it to be the "name of the report.pdf".
It seems that if I create a new report the file name is correct but if I change the name of the report then BIP always selects XDO as the default file name.
Is there any place where I can configure the default name.

Thanks for the quick reply. I figured out how to get the desired results by using tagging. For anyone who may reference this post in the future, I went to "Customize" in the top right corner of Adobe, then selected "Create new tool set...", looked under "accessiblity and found the "tag" option. Hit ok, tag is added to the toolbar. Then I highlighted the dataset in the PDF that was relevant to the output format, then clicked "tag", saved as spreadsheet. Sorry I can't provide more details on how tagging works or if there's a more elegant solution available, but I'm sure one's out there.

When I save an image after editing it goes into my Bridge folder instead of Lightroom.

I have been using Photoshop CS5 and Bridge for photo editing. I recently got Lightroom 4. When I edit a picture and save it, it goes to my Bridge pictures folder not back into Lightroom. How do I get it to save into Lightroom?

You can try to drag the image in a Photoshop window instead.<br />
If that still doesn't work then you need to save the image and open it in Photoshop.

Why is my Raw file shrinking so much when I save it as a JPEG file?

Why does my file size shrinks from a raw file of over 12MB to a large Jpeg file of less than 6MB. Several weeks ago when I converted the same raw file I was ending up with a JPEG file of over 9MB. What am I doinf wrong? How can I correct this? I am using Elements 9.

Because JPGs are compressed, the JPG file size is not a meaningful indicator of image quality or "doing something wrong". You are advised to ignore it.

When I save as PDF, a blank file is created, that tells me the following message: "Questo le Adobe® Illustrator® è stato salvato senza contenuto PDF. I have always saved as PDF for the printer when I used previous AI versions with no problem, but now the same file gives me this problem with AI CC. I tried to save as PDF other new files, but the result is always the same, whatever file - whatever PDF settings I choose - whatever name I give - whatever way I save the AI file (with or without the PDF compatible file option). You may try the following list, or it may be one for Creative Cloud support (all Creative Cloud customer service issues),

The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

When I "save page as" I also get a folder with gif images, jscript script files and other similar items. how can I stop this.

I am not is allowed to delete it unless I also delete the page I need. How can I stop this from happening. is it the way I've configured firefox perhaps.

Does anybody know the upgrade order for the following applications?

Cool Edit 2000
Cool Edit Pro 1

If one had Cool Edit 2000 what was the next step up? Was it Cool Edit Pro or was it Audition?
Was it posible to go from Cool Edit 96 to Cool Edit Pro 1 ? Or was is rquired to go by Cool Edit 2000 first?
Could one go from Cool Edit 96 to Audition?

My mistake - Cool Edit 1 is actually Cool Edit Pro 1. It got renamed because it was the paid-for upgrade from Cool Edit 96.

Cool Edit Pro didn't natively do MP3 - you had to purchase that as a plugin. CE2000 had it natively, though. There might be a minor additional step around CEP1.2 and 2, but I don't recall offhand whether there was or not, and it would only have been a bugfix.

How can I change session properties in Audition after omf import.

After importing an omf. Everything is imported correctly. But the session properties do not match. I would like to change it back to 24bit. How can I change the session properties such as bit depth, without having to create a new session? There used to be a advanced session properties window.

When you save the session in Audition, if you use 'Save As' then you'll get options to set the save defaults to whatever you want.

Illustrator crashes when using save as and changing the save location yosemite OS

I am having a problem with illustrator crashing when using save as to save a file to another location than the one it was previously saved in. It will save to the same location just fine but on macbook pro with yosemite os it crashes immediately when i change the save location. Tried reinstall and also tried other users and still does it. Any solutions?

Shot videos ONLY in landscape. For photos choose what's you like. Maybe you have to rotate photos on PC. What's your operating system?
