Check your settings> messages and see if iMessages is turned on and if so how many 'receive at' addresses you are using, it may well be that your email address is entered as one of these addresses.

I thought maybe my disks that came with my computer were defective so I called Apple and they sent me 2 new disks. I am not able able to clear my computer with the 2 new disks either. I have done this before successfully so it's not something new to me. I do remember when I believe my computer became infected: I had googled an unusual sewing term, and I was opening what appeared to be legitimate sites, when all of a sudden a pop up appeared that said that my computer had been infected. I immediately shut my computer off, but it was too late. I downloaded a virus program for Mac, and it has never found a virus or problem at all. I think it is part of this Trojan Horse, but I am unable to delete it from my computer. It refuses to uninstall. The Mac Trojan Horse is real and it is terrible. If anyone has any suggestions for me I would be very appreciative,

Install ClamXav and run a scan with that. It should pick up any trojans.

As far as I know you can't, which sort of makes sense, it seems logical to pause whatever you are doing while you take a phone call, which after all is the primary function of a phone.

TS3899 I send an e-mail message from my iPhone 5c and it shows up in Sent folder as a duplicate, 2 of the same e-mail messages sent at the same time.

If they are in photos view then they are in an event unless you have a corrupted library
How are you"merging" the photos?
most common issue is either bad sort (view menu ==> sort events) or bad camera dates
select one and show event to see the event

When I send a text to people and icloud email address shows up instead of just my name. Where in the settings do I go to stop that from happening?

Settings>Messages>Send & Receive. Make sure you are signed in with your Apple ID and that you phone number appears under "You can be reached by iMessage at" and "Start new conversations from". Then tap your phone number under "Start new conversations from" so it is checked.

Check your phone to make sure MMS is turned on. If it is, check with your cell provider and make sure your phone is provisioned correctly.

Send Incoming Texts (IMESSAGE) to My E Mail Address

I researched a post that stated to "add my email address (make sure the checkmark is there) to settings, messages, send messages to...."
I did that, and tested it but it does not work. The incoming text does not appear in my e mail in box.
I operate a business where everything has to be documented for the file. When I receive data from a client in text form, I have to be able to print the text. I did so in the past by simply e mailing the text to myself. Asking clients to not text me is not an option.
I converted to IPHONE today from Android, and cannot find anything similar to the Zee Software app that specifically allows any text to be sent to any desired e mail address. I have done quite a bit of searching and am not finding anything commensurate w/ IPHONE.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't be the only IPHONE user that has to print their texts but I can't seem to find any solution.
I'm aware of the screenshot method but that is not a feasible long term solution b/c most of my incoming texts and threads are longer than one screen-shot's worth of data.

How are you trying to change it ?
You should be able to log out of an account by clicking on it at the top left of the store's pages on your computer's iTunes, or via the Store > Sign Out menu option (if you are using a PC and the drop-down menus aren't showing at the top of iTunes then control-B should get them to show). You can then sign in with your own account (the Store > Sign Out menu option should change to a Sign In option) - does that work ?

I have following awkward situation:
I have [email protected] and [email protected] on the same exchange server.
Address book policies for this users are configured in such way, so contoso.com users do not see tailspintoys.com users at all (customer address list, based on OU - different domain users are in different OUs; custom globaladdressbooks, based on PrimarySmtpAddress
filtering and custom Offline Address books, based on customized address list, mentioned earlier).
[email protected] send an e-mail to [email protected] When [email protected] checks his inbox (in OWA) he sees new e-mail but when he checks "From" field - he sees only the name and even when checking (double-click) contact details everything
is blank, no e-mail/phone/additional info.
I want users to have access to e-mail, so this problem does not occur (it causes other problems with replies in Outlook 2011 for Mac), but still do not want contoso.com users see tailspintoys.com users in any address books (offline/GAB).
Any suggestions?

According to the description, I found that you want to hide information except sender's display name (?) to another domain. Please correct me if there is any misunderstanding.
Based on my experience, it is impossible.
Would you like to tell me the reason that why you want to hide additional information, maybe we can achieve this goal via other methods, like Outlook Rules or Transport Rules.
I also notice this, 'it causes other problems with replies in Outlook 2011 for Mac' , if there is any problem on Outlook 2011 for Mac, I suggest creating a new thread on the Mac forum.

Is it possible to stream Video to Apple TV (via Beamer with no real audio output) and at the same time stream Audio to an Airplay compatible device? (Bose Soundtouch)

I currently have the following set-up:
Ipad Mini Retina (with Airplay)
Beamer without proper audio output (picobeamer)
Bose Soundtouch (with Airplay)
Apple TV (3rd Gen)
When I stream a video via the Ipad, I either have the sound on my Soundtouch or Video via the beamer. Is there an option to have both at same moment? It really looks like I cannot have both at the same moment?

I have a bunch of scanned old photos on my iPad mini. If I put them in the correct order in an album in photos,or in a web journal in iPhoto they always shuffle to a random order when I send them to another device. I want them to stay in the same order!

The photo app puts files in date/time order and ignores their names.
You can look for another app that may honor file names (sorry, I don't know any to recommend) or you can find a program that alters your file properties. If all the files have properties that read the same date and time, then it defaults to alphabetical order

Send two signals at the same time to serial

I have a problem in that I want to control some relay boards by serial. The boards have an address byte (to determine which of the three relay boards) and a relay combination (four relays on each board). The .vi I will need to make will be sending data to the serial as a result of feedback from sensors (they are currently simply controlled by timers to simulate) so there is a good chance that there will be two relay addresses sent at the same time and consequently much confusion. The timed simulation demonstrates this possibility by switching all relays on at the start.
Is there a way of avoiding this? Any help would be much appreciated.

When you say send to multiple boards "at the same time" exactly what to you mean? On a serial port only one byte at a time can be sent. You do not specify how many bytes are sent to each board to handle the addressing, the data, and any EOT (End of Transmission) characters.
I can think of two possibilities.
1. Relays are slow. If the transmission rate is fast enough, you could send messages to all relays sequentially over the serial port but still have the appearance of simultaneous activation of the relays. If the relays switch in 10 ms and each command contains 6 bytes, sending the data at 115 kilobaud would take about 1.5 ms for three boards. This would likely be close enough to simultaneous for relays.
2. Add a command similar to the GPIB GET (Group Execute Trigger). All devices on the bus respond to this command by executing a previously stored command. No addressing is used for this command. This does require that the relay boards be modified to respond to their address and to the common or group address and to store a command for later execution.
