When i size down my logo in XSPLIT BROADCAST it looks not as good, not smooth at all. how can i change this
it does not look smooth , im not sure what to say but the circle looks like square tiny blocks making a circle. how can this be made to look perfect as it originally is
i make it via ai so its a vector and exported to Photoshop so that i can save it as small image rather than massive white page with logo on it, as you cant re size document on AI but if you re size it or lower size it you still get bits of pixelation or blurriness more of this when you downsize. so why is this?

How did you import from iPhoto? If you saw the Import panel with raw -jpeg pairs, then you probably did not import your iPhoto library as library, but as files, and then you will see plenty of duplicates - previews, thumbnails, originls, edited versions. If that should be the case, it would be better to delete the import from iPhoto and to import your iPhoto library again, but this time using "File > Import > Library".
Only that would require compatible versions of iPhoto and Aperture. What are your Aperture and iPhoto version numbers? -
New computer win 8.1 pro, installed my creative Suite 4 Design premium but it shuts down when I try to use any of the programs and gives me an error code 147:20. How can I fix this? Is this a conflict with win 8.1 pro?
You need to adjust your security stuff/ permissions and possibly use compatibility modes. It means that your licensing service is being blocked/ shut down.

When I create a New Folder (on the desktop or in Finder), the system uses the Generic Document Icon instead of the Generic Folder Icon. How can I change this back?
All of a sudden I noticed that most of the folders on my computer were no longer using the folder icon, but the generic document icon. I had to manually change back the icon being used by opening Get Info for each folder and copying and pasting the generic folder icon from some folders that remained unchanged. Now whenever I create a New Folder (right click -> "New Folder"), the icon that shows up is the generic document icon (white page with top right corner turned down). And I have to manually change it so it shows up as a folder in Finder or on my desktop. I don't know why or how this switch happened. All of the folders now on my computer look ok, but I need to change the default so when I create a New Folder it uses the correct icon.
I have also Forced Relaunch of my Finder and rebooted the system. I downloaded Candybar but am not sure what will fix anything, so I haven't proceeded.
Anyone know how I can do this? Thanks.Anyone?

When I was ready to place the order for my iPhoto book, I realized that it was for a soft cover book and I wanted hard cover. How can I change this without losing my prepared book?
Duplicate your book and try to change the theme in the copy. Chnaging the theme may change the layout of your text fileds. That is why you need the copy to be able to compare the pages before and after.
Ctrl-click the book in the Source list and select "Duplicate".
Click the "Change Theme" button in the upper right corner of the Book pane, make sure, you have the same theme selected and the same size. Click Hardcover. -

I have an original iPad with the latest software. When I send an email, the keyboard opens with halk on the right side and halk of the left across the body of the email. How can I change this?
Tap and hold on the Keyboard key at the bottom right side of the right portion of the keyboard. You can use the Dock and Merge option from the menu.
Alternatively you can drag the keyboard down and move slightly left, to get it to merge. -

This is a mean one. I don't have time to try and find the cause, but at least some answers to your questions, to hopefully shed some more light on this.
Where was the original destination? iCloud folder.
On another drive? Tried to Save as... to Hard Drive (also changing name of file), always get the same non-descript short Error "Couldn't auto-save document." (slides down from top with a yellow warning triangle). Status to the right of document name is "Not Saved".
Another Server? No access at this time.
I also tried File, Revert to, Browse all versions, to check what I'd be losing. Saw I wasn't losing much and selected the last version and pressed Restore - same error. In the end I just quit Pages and re-opened. The document opened with the last few edits missing (but with the status "Edited" next to the name). I re-edited and could save. Good old habit of saving often. -

This command will change the ownership of a file.
Any file or folder with a userid of 501 is changed to 1000. Your numbers will differ.

#And you need to do this from an administrator id.

The only way that I know currently know of to remove old or incorrect email addresses from the Mail app is to reset the iPad back to factory defaults, which I assume that you don't want to to. Or better yet, create and use new Apple IDs for others in your household. You could always use different Apple IDs for iCloud services (like iMessage and FaceTime) and iTunes and App Store., but it's even easier to share purchased content now with Family Sharing.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
