When I sort a column of figures, it sorts by the first digit. How do I get it to sort by the whole number?
I have a column of numbers, Specifically: 5.2, 42.0, 25.5, 2.4, 11.8, 0.9, 0.5. Notice how it has sorted by the first digit, not the whole number. In other words 5.2 is ranked higher than 42, because 5 is larger than 4. What do I turn on or off to make it behave sensibly?
Any answers would be appreciated.

Are the cells formatted as Text (left aligned, as in Column B)?
Data Format in Column C
Column C will sort as Number.

As long as the app remains in the store then you can re-download it via the Purchased tab in the App Store app, or via the Purchased Link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
Similarly ibooks can be re-downloaded, and depending upon what country that you are in then music, films and tv shows may also be re-downloadable (if they remain available in the store). -

When I got my new ipad, i lost access to my first cloud, how do I get it back?
I cant access any of the photos or anything from my first ipad which I repalced because the screen broke- at the apple store. I backed up everything to the cloud and then switched over to a new device. Since then, I have never been able to get into the first ipad's cloud- only the new stuff. But apple still recognizes only one cloud so I only had about 1 gigabite left after backing up. As a resutl I really havent been able to use the cloud feature... how can I get the photos, videos, back? that's really all I care about.
The only way to get your photos and videos back from a previous backup would be by resetting your iPad (Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings) and then storing your device from the previous backup by selecting it during the initial setup. Please note, if you proceed that you would delete everything what you have on your iPad now.

Sometimes when I send an email with a Pages attachment it is tuned into a zip file and then I am unable to open the atttachment afterwards. I get a message saying I need a newer version of Pages in order to open the attachment. How can I get around this?

The message saying you need a newer version indicates that you saved from a newer version and tried to open with an older version. This has nothing directly to do with whether the file was compressed and packaged in a .zip file.
If you have two versions of Pages on your computer, you must take care to note which of them you are using. You may want to delete a Dock alias to the older version and you may need to change the Finder preference for which version is set to automatically open .pages files.

And adding photos is easy - go to the photo (in an album, event or photo view) and drag the photo(s) to the book under keepsakes - it will now be available to use

I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!
I found this super handy website with the golden answer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

Hi Dd,
If you want the next date automaitcally filled in when you add a row to the bottom of the table, you can use a formula.
Here's an example, done in Numbers 2.3 (Numbers '09). The method is basically the same in Numbers 3.
Formulas in row 3:
B3: =B2+1
C3: =C2+7
D3: =D2+14
These have been filled down to the last row of the table.
The same table is shown below after three rows have been added by dragging the Row control handle (below the tab for row 7) down. No changes other than adding thse three rows were made by the user.
Note that rows 1 and 2 are header rows, and that row 2 contains the starting date for the seraies of date in each column. In the formula, the number at the end tells Numbers how many days to add to the previous date to get the next date.
Autofill of the formula requires that every non-header cell located above the cell into which the formula is to be filled contains the same formula.

I am sorry if my inquiry here seem dumb but I am a new iMovie user and cannot figure this out. I inserted a png image into my video clip in the project as PIP, I can see it and move it and can also see it playing with the main clip if I move the play head manually, I can also see the PIP part only playing along with the undelying main clip if I use the Play button in the preview window when the PIP section is selected, however, for the life of me I cannot get it to play with the main clip all together for previewing the entire video via the video play button. What happens is that the video plays normally and when the PIP section comes in, the video clip stop all motion during the duration of the PIP section and the PIP image itself is simply NOT showing. Am I missing something really stupid here? It seems as it the Picture On Picture is a separate clip that plays with the underlying main video clip if selected and played by itself but it is not part of the video clip and will not play with it. What am I missing here, can anyone please help?
ShonyThe easiest way to get up and running is to convert your MP3s to MP4s (obviously there won't be a video track). The following link links to a file that was an MP3 that I converted to an MP4 using QT Player Pro. When you go to export the files, make sure you click on "Options" and then check the box for "Enable Streaming" in the Streaming tab. It should stream flawlessly using QT Player. rtsp://rhsstreamit.rih.org/testmp4/Scorpion.mp4
Make sure you place the media to be streamed in the proper folder. You should only get a "404" message if the physical file doesn't exist.

I have igoogle as my hompage. When I click the home button, it will open my igoogle page but also open up a blank tab as well. Firefox didn't always do this, it just started. I bought a new iPhone 4 with iOS 6.1.3 installed. When I connected it to itunes for the first time to activate it iTunes asked me to enter the password for an account that the iPhone is locked to like if the device was used before what shall I do? PLease reply soonI can't do that because the device was purchased from United Arab Emirates and I got it as a gift in Syria but the problem is that there is not even a single apple store in Syria so is there another way to fix that, I googled it and was told to jailbreak the device whitch I did and than hacktivated it but the problem is the device doesn't connect to any network and only shows "no service" and the battery draining too fast so is there any other way to fix this issue
