iPhoto disappeared suddenly ! I then re-installed it. When I click on iPhoto it goes into an eternal loop. I also founf out that iPhoto Library suddenly conatins 32000 photos with a size of 26.9 Gb ?

First thing to try is a reboot of your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart. See if that fixes your problem.

No startup chime is usually the sign of a hardware failure. If you have an installer disc (or if the disc that's stuck in the optical drive is an installer disc) then you need to try booting from it. But the first thing you need to do is:

1. Insert OS X Installer Disc into the optical drive.
2. Restart the computer.
3. Immediately after the chime press and hold down the "C" key.
4. Release the key when the spinning gear below the dark gray Apple logo appears.

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
If you can get this far, then you may be able to reinstall OS X without erasing the drive. But you will need to tell us what version of OS X you are using.

How do I disable the simplify awesome toolbar? (when i start typing it goes to the address bar instead of where I put the cursor)

When I am in Gmail or most other sites, when I type it automatically goes to the address bar. For example, in Gmail, I will click reply, and the cursor starts flashing in the message box. However, when I start typing, it goes into the address bar instead. When I am on another website (for example I am on my library website), i place my cursor in a field, start typing, and again it goes in the address bar. I have tried disabling the add-on, but it doesn't appear in the list of add-ons. When I search, I have the option of installing, as if I don't already have it. Any suggestions would be helpful!

I to use iphoto library manager to save corrupted iphoto and each time it saves some and the first time it brings up iphoto, iphone goes into "not responding" mode. Using mac book pro, iphoto 9.5.1, and maverick 10.9.2.

I've had issues with my iPhoto "not responding" and as a result I am attempting to save my photos to an external hard drive using iPhoto library Manager but each time I start the program it saves some, and then when it starts iPhoto, iPhoto then goes into not responding mode. Using mac book pro, iphoto 9.5.1, and maverick 10.9.2. I have completed all of the photo library first aid steps several times, but it makes no difference, iphoto eventually goes to "not responding." Initial issues started with Time Machine back ups stopping because of iphoto. Thanks......

Do you have a back up?
If you're just trying to recover the photos you can do that much more simply:
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for a Folder called 'Originals' or 'Masters'. (varies according to the version of iPhoto)
Your photos are inside - these are the originals as imported from your camera.

Are you signed into the AppStore with the same AppleID that you used to accept iPhoto originally, when you set up your Mac?
You will see only the updates for the apps that are tied to your AppleID. Look also at the "Accept" section of the "Purchased" tab. Is iPhoto there?
And is iPhoto installed directly at the top level of the Applications folder, or in a subfolder? Move it to the top level.
iPhoto may not yet be available a the AppStore of your country. For some forum members it helped, to set the primary system language to "English U.K" and to reboot, before trying to update.

Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button,
and select the library you want to add from those in the selection window.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note 1: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost.
Note 2: Your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

Why cant I see any pictures when I start iPhoto?

I just imported a new set of photos from my iPhone. When I start iPhoto, I see a spinning disc saying "Loading Photos...", then I see my most recent imported set appear very briefly, then they disappear.
Then I just see an empty iPhoto window, with empty Text Boxes at the very bottom saying Event Name and Description.
At the very bottom of the window it says "No Photos".
I do have at least 2 dozen Events on the computer.
Any idea what is happening?

Check, if your search filter is cleared: if there is anything in the search field, delete it. A search entry may hide all photos.
If that is not the problem, you may need to repair or rebuild your iPhoto library:

Make a backup of the iPhoto library before you rebuild.

Try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. If that does the same or you can't create a new library try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Lion and Mt. Lion from the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE 1: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
NOTE 2: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

Unable to open files associated with Adobe Reader - program goes into a loop

i am unable to open any file associated with adobe reader or adobe pro. when i double-click the file, adobe reader opens up but it goes into a loop.
adobe reader opens, then a progress window opens, as if the file will open but adobe closes and opens again and the same cycle repeats itself until i manually close the program.
any advice?
update:
i can open regular .PDF files when i double-click the icon and i can also open .PDF files when i open adobe reader first and then choose open file. it's just the .FDF files that are the problem (so far).
the file in question happens to be an .FDF extension, which is an internet generated form. i attached a screen shot of the screen that pops up, goes away, and pops up again that creates the loop.
the white out section is the server name where the file was saved to. but i also get the same symptoms when i am in internet explorer, hit the generate form button.

yes, it does behave the same way, it's just a continuous loop until i have to kill the process.

by this do you mean the correct permissions? if that is what you mean, then yes, the permissions are set correctly.

i really wish i could but the information in the form is sensitive and cannot be sent.
as an update though, i reimaged the customer's workstation, installed Adobe Reader 10.1.1 and it worked perfectly (finally). HOWEVER, after about two weeks the same symptoms returned!

I am calling the event hanlder on modify action of User entity
Now the problem i am facing is that the eventhandler goes into infinte loop and modifies the values again and again without any break.

Cisco_Webex_Add-on goes into a loop on install

I am running mac book pro with OS X 10.9.5 (13F34). Webex prompts me to install Cisco_Webex_Add-on. After "successful" installation, it again asks me to install the same and keeps going into a loop. Unable to run webex session. Any help?

Webex will open but the minute I try a one click meeting or to join or start a meeting it fails and tells me to install Install Cisco WebEx Add-On.App

On log on my home page appears, goes into a loop, icons flash on and off and wont load

HP Logo and the log on page load OK but when I log on to my home page it goes into a loop. The screen and icons keep flashing as if the screen keeps reloading. I cant do anything to stop it.

PSPPYRUN is going into a loop. see log file sequence. You can see its re-calculating that pay group over and over again. We have done everything see task list competed and there is no long running sql in the database either . Is there some configuration in the application we have done which is causing this infinite loop? This is north american Payroll 9.2 and We have applied Tax : 2014-B on 2014/06/30. We are only running for one paygroup using one run id. One id to one paygroup relationship.

Iphone keeps going into reboot loop

Hey guys, i dropped my iphone from 1 month ago and since it, the signal went away sometimes while it was charging and when i took the stick out my iphone went into reboot loop, then i just waited some time and it went back.
Now suddenly 2 days ago, my iphone keeps going into reboot loop everytime and when i get it out then around 9hours later, it comes again..
I really need help since it affects my school, when the alarm don't work in the morning.
TLDR; Iphone keeps going into reboot loop, need help!
