If you are trying to upgrade to Mavericks, make sure your Mac meets the requirements > OS X Mavericks: System Requirements
And make sure there's enough free storage space. Mavericks requires about 8GB's.
Click your Apple menu icon top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac > More Info > Storage
Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.
If it's not a storage space issue ...
Apps such as Little Snitch, Growl, MacKeeper, and anti virus software can prevent apps from downloading including OS X upgrades
Disable anti virus software if installed
Check the firewall in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall > Firewall Options
Make sure Gatekeeper is enabled
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.
Make sure either Mac App Store or Mac App Store and identified developers is selected.
If that area is grayed out, click the padlock icon to proceed.

My search function (when I start typing or control f) stopped working.

I checked and my "Search for text when I start typing" is still checked, but neither that nor control-f are working. When I search for text, the blank box appears at the bottom left of the page but the letters do not type into it. With control-f, the box appears, the letters get typed in, but it does not function, it does no search.

When I try to access the store from iTunes the application stops working

I'm on Windows 7 I've reinstalled iTunes several times. I can add music manually and play and sync my iPhone and iPad but whenever I try and access the store it crashes. I've tried all the fixes listed in the community help topics but nothing works. I am current with my Windows updates and I have the most recent version of iTunes.

When trying to install os x mavericks to my macbook pro as it started to install the computer now is stuck with the OS X Mavericks intall showing and I can't get out of it or force quit?

When trying to upgrade and install OS X Mmavericks to my Macbook Pro as it started to install the computer stopped the install and now is stuck with the OS X Mavericks intall window showing and I can't get out of it or force quit? I can not do anything else because this is stuck with this window/install screen showing. I have tried everything to get back to my regular desktop. I do not want to wipe the drive because I have photos on it that I want to save. So if there is any way to bypass this installer and get back to my regular desktop I would greatly appreciate the help.

My computer stops working completely and the screen goes crazy

I don't know which is the Safari version I am using, but I am pretty sure it is the latest one. And I use this same version for a long time and have never experienced any problems. However know everytime I start my Safari, it works perfectly for a few seconds and then the computer stops completely. Nothing works! The mouse arrow moves, but the clicks have no effect. The keyboard keys do not work. The only thing left is turn de computer off using the power button.
I have also noticed that the screen starts becomes pink, but not whole pink but many pink lines show up in front of the screen. At first I thought it was a hardware problem, probably in the Video Board, but it only occurs when using Safari. I did not make many tests, because I was affraid it could damage even more the computer. Therefore, I am not really sure it is a Safari problem.
What can it be and how can I fix it???

Unfortunately, it doesn't.
First, I bought my Mac Book Pro earlier then the specified period. Second, I am not really experiecing a lack of video or a distortion, but another kind of problem. It is more like a complete breakdown, because even the computer stops working, not only the screen. Furthermore, the screen gives signs that a problem occurred, but it doesn't become distorted, it only starts showing many pink lines.

Really hope you can help me out wiht this problem as I believe I have tried anything I know and my next step is formating the whole computer again and still not knowing if it will work this time, as this is what I just did, when upgrading to win 7.
I have 2 problems:
When computer goes on standby and I start it backup - the mouse stops working, unless i move it to another usb-port. I get a message aswell about usb can perform faster...
Another problem is a program freezing at this point aswell, this program is Oracle JDeveloper, do not know if this has any relevance??
I have tried updating EVERY driver from toshibas webpage- theese problems still occur...
Please help!

Can you please tell us what Windows 7 version you have installed? I mean if you have 32bit or 64bit.
Is this right that you are using an external mouse?
Does the touchpad work after standby mode? If yes I think its something wrong with the external mouse maybe.
By the way: Make sure that you are using newest BIOS version. You can find it on the Toshiba page.
And regarding the Oracle question I think you should contact the Oracle support directly. ;)

Is your iPhone not showing up in iTunes sidebar, or is iTunes not just launching automatically?
The things that you can check are:
1) Launch iTunes manually
2) Restart or reset your iPhone (http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3281)
3) Check your cable including disconnecting and reconnecting it on bot the phone end and the computer USB end.
4) Reboot your computer
5) As a last resort, take it to the Apple Store so they can check the hardware

OKay, here is the deal. You cannot change the location of encrypted files nor can you share them with other machines. There is no file server for iTunes so even if you export the movie index from iTunes to an external volume, each time you reboot your computer itunes has to reindex the external drive every time you want to access the files. The second you run your mobile computer without the external drive or try to access the HD movies from another device or another user on the same network, the indexing gets out of synch. The entire process is self defeating regardless. The HD movies are encapsulized by apple to stream to your devices via iCloud and NOT via Cloud. Only your TV can play 1080p. That single file you download from iTunes has mutiple versions of the same video in the capsul, one version for each type of apple device. There are no 1080p apple devices except for the Apple TV. When you buy a movie you are buying a license and not the movie. It's going to get worse with all the new copywrite laws. Already you cant share any apple devices with other itunes accounts. Your airport express just stopped streaming music to all users on the local home sharing Cloud. Only the one user for each device and soon only airplay speakers connected directly to the device. No more passthru via your TV and no more file sharing with other accounts on the same wi-fi. All the ISPs are doing the same thing. And soon everybody will be buying their phones and TV's and iPads from the cabble guy.
Apple has done a poor job of educating the consumer as to the difference between the Cloud and iCloud. They are not the same at all.

It sounds like you are unable to turn on your iPhone, and when you plug it into the computer you see the Apple symbol appear then disappear quickly. I would start by resetting your iPhone with this process:
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

If that does not correct the issue, I would next put the device into recover mode, and restore it with iTunes:

Yes, you need iTunes installed in order to restore your phone. If not installed on your computer, you need to download/install it.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
