When i start my mac all kinds of programs automatically open up but under my login items is nothing
When i start my macbook pro alot of startup programs appear on my home screen even though under my system preferences in login items there is nothing selected
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
If you have OS X Mountain Lion or Lion and you turn off your computer with those applications opened, Mac OS X will open them the next time you start Mac OS X. To avoid this, open > Shut Down and unmark Restore windows when logging back in

When I boot up my Mac Mini, the mail and message program's open automatically. How do I stop this?
I heard that all program's that are open when shutting down, will open again on booting up. I always close all program's before shutting down!Go to preferences and General and be sure the box is checked that states to close all programs on exit. Also, right clcik your mail icon in the dock and under options be sure the open at login is not checked.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Did you have the opportunity to update 12 to 12.1 Update yet using an opened project's Help Menu/Update? If not, please do so when you get the opportunity.
For now I will assume that your computer is Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit. Please try the following suggestions to overcome your Premiere Elements Sign In issue.

and, if you get any messages about Internet connect and the computer clock, please review the following

Please let us know the outcome.

When I start my Mac, all of the microsoft applications for Mac Automatically boot, this has just occured over the past few days but I would like to deactivate the Automatic Start for Word, Excel and PPT.
Thank YouIf you use a virtualizer like Parallels Desktop or VMware or Virtualbox: goto system Preferences/ Account/ LoginItems and delete (- sign) the Virtualizer.
If you use Bootcamp: log into Windows, there disable autostartup with system start, there used to be a simple tool called startup.cpi which pops up in ControlPanel and that handles these things. -
In Lion, running on an I MAC, (late 2006), how can I stop certain programs (iTunes, Word) from automatically starting up when I start the computer?
Any application that is open when you shut down will re-open when you restart unless you deselect this when shutting down/restarting:
Also check System Preferences>Users & Groups>Login items tab and make sure there's nothing listed there that you don't want launched. -

I just bought macbook pro with 10.8.3 os. When i start the system, all applications automatically start up as well! How can I turn them off. I checked the user settings and no application is set tom open automatically!
You have 14 days to return the computer w/no questions asked. Plus you have 90 days of FREE phone tech support on top of your standard 1 year warranty unless you also purchased AppleCare which gives you an additional 2 years of coverage plus FREE phone support.
Strongly suggest that you take FULL advantage of the above before it runs out. Let Apple deal w/the problems. -
when starting my mac air a lot os utilities opens, I would like to change the start up, how?
System Preferences - Users and Groups - Login Items - remove any that you don't want on startup.
Don't forget also that Lion will automatically restart any apps you had open when you shut down, unless you untick the "Reopen windows when logging back in" tickbox that appears.

When I start my mac book pro the screen flashes on and off and then a blue color before it open to the log in screen. Sometime a program will shot down buy it's self without me clicking the quit button. Help?!
If you keep getting a 'red' message it means that the HDD is faulty and will have to be replaced. You will have to format the new HDD in Disk Utility>Erase and then install the OSX and your data from Time Machine.

Messages agent pop up when i start my mac
every time when i start my mac i see pop up: mesjes agent login _renamed_1 use I don't have this and i don't wan to see this pop up
Open the Accounts pane of System Preferences, turn automatic login off, and then turn it back on. If the issue persists, check that automatic login isn't disabled in the Security pane and that FileVault is off for that account. If the issue still persists, use the Disk Utility in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder to repair permissions.

I installed windows 7 successfull, but when I start the mac in windows I does not see the wifi, and others things. How do I get the drivers?
I remember that with Snow Leopard you could download them from the Apple website.
Cheers!Read the Boot Camp Documentation while you run Boot Camp Assistant to download the Windows Support Software which was the first step in the Boot Camp Setup procedure.

How can i change when i start the mac book pro, between mac and win?
when i start the mac book pro, between mac and win?
If you want to set which OS your system boots into (provided Windows is installed using BootCamp and not a virtualization option such as Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox), just hold the "Option" key down when you turn your computer on. Continue to hold the key down until you see the options for booting into the OS of your choice. Just click on the arrow under the one you wish (tap to click won't work here if you have it enabled... you'll need to physically click the trackpad). If you want to change which OS your system normally boots into, just go into System Preferences in OS X and select "Starup Disk". Whichever OS you select here will be the OS your system will automatically boot into.
